Welcome to Sunset Ridge, conveniently located just a 30-minute drive east of Gympie and a mere 45 minutes from the enchanting destinations of Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Noosa. Our camping haven is synonymous with privacy and tranquility. The surroundings are an oasis of peace, making it the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. All campers are kindly requested to be self-sufficient, embracing an off-grid experience that brings you closer to nature. Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of wildlife that calls this place home. Encounter wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, goannas and a delightful array of birdlife. The base price covers each adult guest, while children are charged a nominal fee. To ensure a seamless experience, please ensure your booking includes all members of your party. Our communal campground, spanning approximately 200 meters by 250 meters, is generously grassed and can comfortably accommodate 5 to 8 vehicles, RVs, caravans, or tent campers at any given time. We encourage you to reach out for inquiries regarding group bookings. Enhance your camping evenings with the cozy warmth of a campfire, campfires are only allowed in firepits. Pets are more than welcome in our haven, but we kindly request that you clean up after them. For their safety we recommend tick protection, and we ask that they remain on a leash at all times to protect the wildlife in their natural environment. You can easily locate us on Google Maps, and we eagerly anticipate the pleasure of welcoming you to Sunset Ridge. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction, and we're excited to have you join us soon.Our communal campground, spanning approximately 200 meters by 250 meters, is generously grassed and can comfortably accommodate RVs, caravans, or tent campers. We encourage you to reach out for inquiries regarding group bookings. Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided. Campfires are welcome in fire pit. Pets are more than welcome, but we kindly request that you clean up after them. For their safety, we recommend tick protection, and we ask that they remain on a leash at all times. For the equestrian enthusiasts, enjoy horse riding or immerse yourself in scenic exploration with visits to Noosa, Kin Kin, Ponoma, Cooroy, and Cooran—all within an hour's drive. And don't forget the bustling markets that pop up nearly every weekend, offering you endless opportunities to experience and discover the best of the region.

Sunset Ridge Campsites
Camping with Koalas
Sunset Ridge was a very beautiful and peaceful space. There is no road noise day or night and we watched a colorful sunset from our site. We heard koalas in the nearby gums as the sun went behind the mountains.
