Welcome to Stanthorpe Holiday Park! Perfectly positioned along the Severn River on 6 spacious acres just 4 minutes from Stanthorpe town centre, our park has friendly relaxed vibes and lots of space to spread out! Stay in and relax around your camp, warm up and relax those muscles with a zero gravity massage or infared sauna session in our retreat, or sit on the banks with a picnic or cheese platter and watch for our resident platypus. As we're conveniently located on the New England highway you can enjoy the best of Stanthorpe while you base yourself close to 40+ local wineries, food factories, attractions, family activities, and the enchanting Girraween National Park. 5-10 min in either direction will have you at all the major tourist sights! Our sites are pet friendly, and we have a tasty and convenient onsite cafe featuring great local flavors, wines, and you can even order a picnic platter or dinner delivered to your site! Stay in and order room service to your tent, van or cabin! Our newly renovated cabins have stunning ensuites, and our even newer glamping Cedar Chalets are perfect for a cosy romantic weekend away! Whether you’re coming for wine tasting, local food & produce, exploring nature, or simply to relax by the campfire under the stars in the crisp country air, we’ve got you covered​ with spacious bush camping sites, powered park sites, glamping, affordable pet friendly cabins, and luxe new ensuite cabins! Our Sauna Retreat is now open for couples to enjoy an infrared sauna and zero gravity massage. And Wine Barrel baths are now open! $1 showers for campers available.

Enjoy the best new glamping view in the park from our new intimate cedar glamping pods. All 2 or more night full-rate bookings enjoy a local cheese platter and a bottle of local wine! Sleep in late with a lush pillow top queen bed, and enjoy uninterrupted private views out to the river through the charming double doors while you sink back into twin cushy armchairs. Our signature modern lodge vibe isn't lost on the extra little features that make a stay in our new glamping pods something special! Sleeps 2 in queen. Features: Comfy sitting area, TV, Air Conditioning, Coffee Machine, Kettle, Microwave, and mini bar fridge. (The camp kitchen is available for extra cooking facilities + BBQs, and room service is available if pre-booked from the cafe) Note these do not have an ensuite. The shower and toilets are about 30 meters away.

Book a stay in our newest accommodation option! Our modern ranch inspired cabin. Featuring luxe styling, stone bathroom and basin, comfy double bed, kitchenette, smart TV, and special extra touches for a truly special Stanthorpe inspired stay. Enjoy custom aromatherapy to lull you into a state of relaxation with local shower products, and relaxation inducing room scent, plus lots of extra little touches. This cabin includes your own private bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedding configuration is one double bed with optional roll away. Rollaway incurs an additional $40 charge. Dog friendly only (no cats). No pets on beds. If staying with a dog, a $40 cleaning fee applies on top of your stay. And any damage or soiling will incur an additional $120 cleaning or replacement fee.

Enjoy a cosy time away in our newest container room made for two. Furnished with a comfy double bed, modern kitchenette with air fryer, and moody styling - featuring lots of local homely touches, like apple boxes and feature pieces from our local Vintage Roads antiques. Includes microwave, air fryer, fridge, kettle and basic self contained amenities. Sleeps Maximum 2 or 3 with roll away bed. $40 extra for roll away bed. Located only about 10m from the ensuite block. As it is not plumbed into our water system only cold water tap in cabin. NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Camping by the river near town
Cedar Chalets
Campground has heaps of potential for future campers, very professional staff who are passionate about providing a good camping experience for all who arrive from those in tents/swags through to those with caravans. Highly recommend a stay, wander down for a dip in the river or for those who fancy throwing a line in, sit back by the campfire near the river and gaze up at the stars for a relaxing evening.

Great spot, nice caravan park / camp ground. Plenty of good, clean facilities. South of Stanthorpe, close to Ballandean. Easy access to the highway

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was close to everything. The scenery is beautiful and they have beautiful spa bath and sauna amenities. Also pet friendly

Beautiful spot to stay
Cedar Chalets
It was a beautiful spot that had a lot of thought put into it. We could have easily stayed here a few days! Be sure to check out the other facilities at the holiday park, there’s wine barrel baths and an infrared sauna. We will definitely be back.

We liked it here. Camp ground was quiet. Small creek on property. Showers need $1 coins. I put 2 x $1 coins in and had plenty of time. Small cafe open during the day serving a simple menu. Food was good…chutney was delicious. Short drive to Stanthorpe town. Not very good phone reception.

The bush camp part of the resort was under developed and had permanent people living on site. The camp kitchen had a working fridge, toaster and kettle, as well as a washing up area. All of it was dirty and the gas stove top did not work, probably due to the permanent residents overuse. The amenities at the bottom end of the camp were cleaned but needed serious maintenance along with the camp kitchen. The bush camp area was not level making it very difficult for anybody with a tent to use the site effectively, so some levelling is required. The top end of the camp was in stark contrast. Much better amenities and laundry, along with a great Cafe with products from the local wineries, etc. Eat all you can pancakes on Sundays was a hit. There was also a sauna, massage chair, and a hot tub. Chatted to the owners who seem to have recently taken over the resort. They are constantly fixing and upgrading the facilities, so I don't want to seem overly critical of the resort as it will improve over time. The powered sites looked good, just the bush camping area was in need of improvement. One thing that should be sorted asap is security. There is no entrance control, and I noticed a number of non residents moving in and out of the camp at night. I did not feel secure, especially at night with the long walk up to the amenities. Good luck the owners... this place has great potential

We camped in the self contained section, loads of space and good amenities. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Close to town and easy access to the wineries.

The office and store (altho closed at my late arrival) were fully stocked with first products and info. The layout of the grounds was very spacious with enough areas for throwing a frisbee or taking a walk. Great amenities, bunk houses (accidentally walked in for a look), with a large outdoor kitchen under cover, with all a guest would require. Not sure about the laundry options as I didn't need / use them. Thank you

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Stanthorpe Holiday Park, camping in the Off Grid bush camp site. I had plenty space, was quiet and perfect for my needs. Camp kitchen was well equiped with cooking and fridge facilities and very clean. Toilets and showers were very clean and water hot. Popular site for families.

Ranch Cabin
Lovely and friendly team and nice little cabin but I didn't realise before booking that this place is right on the highway. Maybe the campsites are further away from the road but I decided to splash out and get the Ranch Cabin and ended up not actually staying as trucks and cars were blaring past and I really just needed a good rest. There would be less later into the night of course but they'd still be coming through. Wasn't exactly the relaxing night away I had in mind but I'm sure many people aren't as fazed by traffic noise as I am.
