Surrounded by mountain views and native wildlife, it’s the perfect retreat for bird watchers, bushwalkers, and nature lovers . We are conveniently located right on the highway for easy access. Your stay includes the essentials for comfort: a composting loo, hot shower , BBQ in the camp kitchen, and a large firepit—perfect for those cosy nights under the stars. Adventure is just minutes away. Explore the Main Range National Park or Spicers Gap with hiking trails for all levels, or head to nearby Lake Moogerah for boating, fishing, kayaking, or a scenic stroll along the dam. Hungry? The village of Aratula is only a few minutes down the road—famous for one of the best bakeries in South East Queensland and a pub serving hearty meals. You’ll also find charming cafes in Kalbar and Boonah, or for something unique, enjoy a day out at the Harrisville Camel Farm. Whether you’re after relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, our Mount Edwards campsite is the perfect base for your Scenic Rim getaway. Firewood bundles available $10 - bring cash Eggs sometimes available.1: Camp Guinea is our only site, flat and grassy with a large firepit for those cosy nights under the stars. With almost no light pollution you can star gaze all night. There is a lovely dam to sit by great in the afternoons or if you fancy a short walk you can explore our large dam and surrounding area, great for bird watching. A private composting toilet is nearby and a hot gas shower too. Please note we are on tank water so please keep showers short. Campers will need to bring their own loo paper. There is no potable water so you will need to bring your own for drinking and cooking. There is a basic camp kitchen with water (not for drinking) and a gas BBQ. This site is dry weather access only .

Wow this is an awesome camp site with all the creature comforts Great fire place, wonderful camp shower yes with hot water and rare to see in such a camp ground , a composting toilet. There is also a compost bin for all your vege scraps. Bird life abundant. Our group of Ten had a wonderful relaxing 4 days around the camp fire. The hosts were wonderful, showed us were to camp and left us to our own devices. There is also a picturesque dam to walk to, and swim if you so desired We’ll be back thanks Janine & Andrew
