Our farm is a quite zone, but also great for children We also cater for quick over night stop overs We have Free Wi Fi We allow dogs, BUT they must refrain from barking and kept on a lead Great for all types of tents, Camper Vans, Caravans and RV's 167 pristine acres of ex-dairy farm, with flat paddocks running along side 1 km of beautiful creek frontage, manicured rolling hills in the back ground that back onto National park. Our farm is very quite with 7 locations some are very large and some are very small and 1 location has only 1 site, Hidden Valley 1. We have 5 dams and 2 that are great to swim in with kayaking in both and a large pontoon on our main dam, there are free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of birds and animal wild life to enjoy . We have 1 powered location on Dingo Ridge hill top We have 4 different camping locations along the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat and Wallaby Way. We have 3 toilets and a Hot shower , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure. Things to do nearby. There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine or beer or two. We are only 15min North East of Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast, Noosa.Facilities. Pop in for a break, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have your own spot along the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Pets. Quiet dogs are allowed, must be on leashes at all times can not roam freely, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating

This site is designed for a quick over night stop over with a Hot shower, Toilets and free Wi Fi. Hours are from 3pm check in the afternoon till 8am check out the following morning. Location is at our Wallaby way camp site on the left hand side as you drive in. There is a toilet within 50m walk and a hot shower within 100m walk or you can drive. This site is a very nice lush green ex dairy farm flat.

A beautiful private site at the base of the mountain, hidden in the valley close to a nice small dam. NOTE this is a PRIVATE SITE with no amenities but you can take a quick 30 sec drive back to them when you need to, unless you have your own port-a-loo. It is a perfect area for a GROUP booking or single booking for someone wanting there own getaway from everyone, $60 per night per couple and $10 each person after that. Please give us notice so we can make sure the site is ready for you If you have larger groups please get in contact with us and we will work it out for you at an extra $10/person.

If you want a nice cool breeze and a magic view Dingo Ridge is it! There are other lovely camp sites along the fresh water creek and we even spied a platypus. Warren and his father are wonderful hosts and couldn’t make us feel more welcome, we really look forward to coming back in the near future and thanks again for a great stay!

Beautiful camping area. Perfect for families, couples, singles, dog owners……anyone. There are plenty of places to camp. The sites are big and flat. There is good variety on places to choose from. The dam is perfect to swim and kayak in. Warren and Frank are amazing hosts. There is a shower with hot water. There are a couple of toilets. These are clean and basic portable amenities. I will definitely be back again and again. It’s a piece of paradise.

Perfect long weekend camp! Heaps of space and privacy along the creek sites. Swimming in the big dam is excellent - great temp, fresh and clean. Easy access into the dam with a boardwalk and pontoon. Compimentary kayaks and noodles is a bonus. The hosts are lovely and always there if you need them but give you plenty of space as well. Thanks Sandy Creek team!

There are so many places to select from on the property to set up. The property was beautifully maintained. It is still a fairly new set up. I had a lovely long conversation with the owners about what’s to come and it sounds like it will have everything families will want in the near future. The main dam was a beautiful and refreshing place to cool off and the deep bend in the river was an excellent spot near our campsite.

could not fault this place. beautifully cared for property, clean dam you can swim in with kayaks and pool noodles available for use. great views of surrounding hills AND clean porta pottys and showers. host also had french bulldog puppies we got to obsess over. very friendly and informative. could not recommend this place anymore!!!

We loved our stay at Sandy creek. We had a private little corner, all to ourselves, and were shown wonderful hospitality by Warren, Mark and Frank. We were gifted an abundance of mangoes! And were invited to enjoy all aspects of the property, including swimming and kayaking in the lake, mango collecting and visiting the cows. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, Warren even packed our stuff away to protect it from the storm, when we were off-site and sent a message about our concerns. We loved having a hot shower too. We plan to come back again soon with our kids, to enjoy this wonderful property/ experience again. Thanks Warren and co. Hollie & Bronson

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most beautiful stay at Sandy Creek Homestead. The unpowered creek-side site was perfectly shaded, incredibly private, and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Absolute peace and quiet. The dam and creek were perfect for a swim, and it was such a bonus having kayaks and pool noodles available to use. Evenings by the fire pit with supplied firewood were a highlight. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and clearly care about the experience they offer. The property is stunning and well looked after, and being just outside Gympie makes it an easy getaway without feeling busy or crowded.

A wonderful getaway for a few days! Very peaceful, other visitors were friendly & quiet. Great views of rolling hills, big dam to swim in (complete with kayaks & noodles) & lovely little shady creek to cool off in. Lots of space between camps. Lovely hot shower & clean toilet (portable). Warren is a great host! He even helped my friend get her flat battery sorted.

We had the loveliest stay at the Sandy Creek hipcamp! Warren showed us around when we just arrived and I can say it’s truly a beautiful, lush property. We enjoyed our 2 nights of camping in between the running wallabies, oh and fresh mangoes from the garden in the morning :) from now on, heaven can only disappoint.

We loved our camp at sandy creek! Warren met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the camp grounds and advised the best place to set up, due to being very hot. We had the whole place to ourselves and the lake for a dip was incredible. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, would definitely like to return.

Absolutely stunning location, clean facilities and great host. Don’t skip over this site, it is grassy, manicured to perfection, has shade, a dam that you can swim in with a pontoon and warm shower. Warren has nailed setting this site up for people who want a safe and nice location to stay.

Warren’s camping spot was peaceful & relaxing, he made us all feel welcomed . Very spacious area with plenty of bird life . We had the whole place to ourselves which made it extra special. Warren is a great host , friendly & responds to messages very quickly.

We had a great weekend at Sandycreek Homestead. The property is in a good location, tranquil, and very picturesque. We most enjoyed swimming and kayaking on the dam! It was a very relaxing few days, and can't wait to return. Thanks to the host for being so accommodating and friendly.

We stayed in our camper trailer at Clamp Site. It was beautiful. The views, the open spaces, the quiet. Very well maintained. The grass was so green even though there was no water in the creek. The dam was amazing and kids were kayaking on the dam. I highly recommend Sandy Creek Homestead to anyone looking to get away from a busy life for a while.
