Wanting a holiday in one of Queensland’s best kept secrets? Rules Beach is remote and unhurried slice of paradise located 1.25hr north of Bundaberg and 2.5hrs south of Rockhampton. Our Brand new 85 site beach front holiday park opened in December 2023. The 85 luxurious powered sites with the softest of green grass cater for the smallest setup to the largest of big rigs, some of which are pet friendly. The camp kitchen and amenities blocks are a modern design with all the MOD CONS you could possibly need or want. But if camping isn’t your kind of luxury checkout our beachfront glamping tents perfect for the romantic getaway away. Whether you're a fishing enthusiast, a hiking adventurer, a 4-wheel driving fanatic, or simply looking to relax by pristine waters, we've got it all covered. Really great place, clean, well maintained and taken care of. Loved the staff and also the other happy campers. Well organized and close to an almost empty beach. Quite a drive from almost everything, so prepare for it. Would highly recommend it!

An absolute gem! BIG4 Rules Beach Holiday Park is hands-down one of the best holiday destinations we’ve ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beachfront location and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch – spacious grassed sites, smooth bitumen roads, and the cleanest, most modern bathrooms and laundry facilities we’ve seen at a caravan park. The brand-new camp kitchen is a fantastic touch, providing a great spot to cook, mingle, and enjoy the views. The park’s location is perfect for both adventure and relaxation. Whether it’s fishing, 4WD beach drives, exploring nearby Deepwater National Park, or simply swimming in the warm, safe waters, there’s something for everyone. Plus, it’s pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us! The team at BIG4 Rules Beach Holiday Park truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. If you’re looking for an unforgettable coastal getaway, this place is a must-visit.

Until today it was the most amazing dog friendly place to camp with the beach a short walk away and lots of off lead friendly dogs romping around AND then we were informed that dogs MUST be On LEASH on the beach at all times. The beach is very long and pretty much uninhabited except for some very fast moving 4X4 vehicles Racing along the beach. Pretty sad that Gladstone Council feel they have to do this on such a remote beach. The Big4 camp will now have to be clear that there is now NO off leash area for dogs to run. The rest of the camp ground is totally amazing and we have loved staying here. Spoilt only by the new dog laws.

Great spot at Rules Beach!! New facilities were excellent 3 x premium (large) sites located closest to the beach had heaps of room Kids loved the karts These guys put on a fire for everyone, which was great to meet other travellers… You can drive on the sand, go fishing or simply explore the mouth of Baffle Creek.. Will be back again

Rules Beach has a great set up. Large clean bathroom facilities, generous kitchen space and inviting communal fire pit. We automatically felt at home and welcome. Highly recommend!

Very aesthetically pleasing campsite! Beautiful green grass sites however minimal tree coverage. Trees have been planted and growing between each site, however are still quite young. Limited tree coverage was a downside to privacy and wind aspects. I camped in early March which meant it was quiet, with roughly 12 separate campers. This is a Big4 branded campground which encourages families and groups of families, which is something to be aware of if looking for a quiet and peaceful campground. Kids are well provided for with the loan of peddle buggies and a range of board games/activities available for use in the camp kitchen. Good sized sites, more room than a typical site. Very clean, modern facilities such as the camp kitchen and shower/bathroom block. Friendly staff. I was quickly and personally guided to my site on arrival, with a brief rundown on the campground, then left to my own device (exactly what I like). Very quick walk to the beach. Be careful what direction you set up awnings in respect to the direction of the wind. Peg it down thoroughly or pack away overnight. I woke up at 3am to the sound of my awning being ripped off the side of my 4wd 😆. Huge potential for growth as this campground matures! Enjoyed my stay.
