4WD ACCESS ONLY, when making your booking please provide: 1. Make/model of 4WD? 2. Brand/details of off-road Tyres fitted to each 4WD? AT or MT? 3. Towing a trailer? If so please advise weight (fully loaded), length (tow ball to tail lights)? 5. Access permitted in daylight hours only. If arriving after sunset, you must advise 24 hours prior. Driving after dark any time without owner-assistance is NOT permitted due to steep terrain, no lighting and black cattle. Call Owner if ETA is after sunset for escort to campsite. 6. If towing a trailer you MUST arrive in daylight hours due to the steep access. Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloo's located at all camp sites except for the Junction and you MUST be self-contained due to the remote location. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Beautiful spot, lucky enough to try some of the Wagyu again, no comparison to our regular steaks. The campsite and surrounds were immaculate as always.

Beautiful place to camp. People were great to deal with and everything was easy to follow. Have to say also probably the cleanest portable toilets I've seen. Will.venture back some time.

Fantastic spot. Great views, tidy and clean. It was great having the cattle so close. Plenty of walks around. Walked down to the creek which was scenic and rain forest. Excellent communication from hosts. Appreciate you letting us stay.

Riverdell .. Whilst the location, scenery and landscape is awesome with views to die for (that i would go back for) and the toilets are very clean; The paperwork/ having to apply and get approved to go there is a bit much. There is massive wait time to get there because it is booked out. That creates very high expectations (too high expectations), maybe for these reasons the spot is overrated in that aspect..

Amazing views, easy to deal with hosts and super accommodating. We will 100% be back with and would love to spend a few extra nights there next time. Do yourself a favour and get some of their packed meats they supply as well. Absolutely. Fantastic!

Stunning views, we stayed at The Knoll site. Beautiful breezes, grassy site. Highly recommend the Wagyu beef bacon sold by the host. Carolyn was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return to this beautiful property.

We loved tent camping at the Knoll campsite. The whole property is absolutely beautiful with fresh air and incredible views. The information Carolyn provides is very thorough and clear which is very helpful as the 4wd tracks into and out of the property are no joke. Looking forward to our return!

Our family loved the spectacular valley and mountain views at Upper Plateau campsite. Plenty of space and privacy for our family of 5 to set up camp and enjoy the stunning views, peaceful surrounds and watch the cows each day. Portaloo within close walking distance and plenty of space between other campers. We enjoyed a camp fire each night and had purchased firewood at the gate upon entry- 1 bag of wood per night was a good amount. We would happily stay here again. Very relaxing.

If you want to camp somewhere quiet, beautiful and relaxing then Riverdell is your place to go. We only stayed two nights but wish we’d stayed more. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved the campsite at Ocean View 2. It was very private and had a stunning view. The road down is steep but manageable. We also loved the cows and calves who are part of the scenery.

Little Bunya was exactly what we were hoping for, quiet, peaceful and so picturesque. The fire pit was perfectly positioned and the facilities were clean and well kept. The ability to purchase dry firewood was an added bonus. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to rain but we are looking forward to coming back again. Thanks for having us!

Riverdell camp was genuinely the best camp site my wife and I have ever been to in Aus, everything was so easy to manage from arrival to leaving, wether it was to do with fire wood, talking to Spencer for any help or anything. Toilets and all were genuinly cleaner then some peoples houses can not knock a thing, 10/10 for everything, we will be back for sure.

Fantastic spot! Lovely steep drive getting down into the paddocks with open views at the plateau spot. Highly recommend the Wagyu porterhouse as well! Carolyne was super friendly and helpful.
