River Run Farm Camping is situated on the banks of the beautiful Mary River within the spectacular Fraser Coast region. The historic Maryborough town centre and the quaint village of Tiaro is right on our doorstep for anything you may have left behind or if you just feel like a country pub meal and a cold beer. We offer large grassy mowed sites both powered and unpowered, river front and tree shaded areas with some unpowered sites having their own fire pits. Fully equipped large camp kitchen with microwave, television, fridge,fire place and BBQ's, large communal firepit great for camp ovens and power points to charge your devices and a Playground for the Kids. We offer the best hot showers with beautifully clean toilets; our amenities even contain a washing machine and a kid’s bathroom with a claw foot bath. A Dump point is located at the front of our property. River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular. River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp. We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire. Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies. Book a horse riding adventure with Hucknall Horses only 10mins away or drive on up to Hervey Bay and go whale watching or day trip to the incredible Fraser Island or Rainbow Beach. 4wd in one of the many local forestry areas and see the brumby herds. There is so much to see and do on the Fraser Coast. Just so much to see and do.

Huge sites in a quiet and relaxed location. Great to see the animals on the farm. Large camp kitchen with lots of tables and a few BBQs if the weather is a little wet like it was for us. Would certainly stay again.

Whatever you do, don't choose site 20 or 19 for that matter if you are in a tent. The slope they mention is worse than the pictures show and you really don't want to be there if it rains. You can't even see the toilet block from your sight which is up the hill near the flat powered sites. The camp kitchen looked impressive at first until you looked closer. As a whole, the bad outweighs the good at this location. Research the location a bit more and you will find better for cheaper. It's what I should have done.

Wonderful camp and host. We were impressed by the amenities, even a wee playground for the kids. Huge covered kitchen and dining area. Toilets and hot showers in great condition. Definitely recommend. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful campsite! Very peaceful. Had to drive around a bit to manage a flat position for our rooftoptent, but we managed and it was as described.

First class stay, we would like to say thank you so much for a 5 star experience in the most peaceful camp ground we have ever stayed in. This was the last stop on a 2 week trip in 3 different spots and had the pleasure to say it was the best we experienced. Thanks again and will be back as well as recommended u highly to others.

Our family of 5 ( 2 adults, 2 children (aged 7+3), pet dog), loved our weekend stay. We camped at site 40 and was lucky enough to have close encounters with the horses, ponies and donkeys multiple times throughout the day, even at night. The children loved feeding the animals, swimming in the river and playing on the park. The amenities were clean and in great condition, the children loved the bath shack, water was hot and mess free. The camp kitchen was clean and equipment was in working order, the children got to watch cartoons on the tv at dinner time, which they were very excited about. Amazing quiet camp site, lovely owners and well cared for. We will definitely be back!!

Great location. Kids loved the waterslide and various other kid activities including feeding the animals. When my car broke down, they were more than happy to help tow the car and van to higher ground as well throw in an extra night while awaited a tow.

We had a relaxing night here. River Run has everything you need, and the amenities are fantastic. Clean and well appointed bathrooms and the camp kitchen is second to none. Our spot had great shade in the afternoon. Absolutely loved visiting the barnyard animals. I would highly recommend this place for families and groups!

Great atmosphere with lots of people and families enjoying themselves, best amenities we’ve had on a farm stay to date! Surprisingly hot showers all kept very clean, along with an extensive camp kitchen area. Beautiful overnight stay and easy to locate site using the map!

Great place really enjoyed ourselves love that it’s dog friendly and dogs must be on a lead . Showers,toilets and camp kitchen kepted very clean love this place will definitely be back.

This is our third visit there this year. There is a current fire ban so no camp fire. We did star watching instead. I can't say anything bad about our experience.

We had a great stay at River Run Farm over the long weekend. We had sites by the river, and whilst we couldn't access the river where we were, it was a lovely outlook. The camp sites are spacious; the amenities were clean (but a fair walk from our sites) and the property was lovely. There were activities for the kids and they hosted the NRL grand final on the big screen for everyone which was great. It would have been great to have had a pontoon to swim / fish from as the only access to the water was at the boat ramp. Overall a lovely spot to camp and very obliging hosts. I would highly recommend!

We had a great time at River Run Farm. Clean ammenities, great hosts, Tayla was the DJ for the kids disco which turned into an adults dance night, and then the NRL grand final in the camp kitchen, awesome atmosphere.

Overall we had a great time. The camp kitchen was very well stocked including microwave, twin hot plates, several fridges, cutlery, crockery etc. They was a large TV and plenty of seating. They was even a dance floor which was used for a disco on the long weekend we stayed. Great music. The bathrooms were very clean, well stocked with loo paper. There were two loos for men and two for women. They were two showers on each side as well which had great water pressure and the best set up. Having a shower curtain between the shower and the door to prevent everything hanging there from getting wet is a genius idea. Well done. The camp sites were large and mostly flat. The only down side was there was no shade on the sites we were on not did there appear to be any shade on any many of the other sites either. The river was lovely and we did go for a swim which was very cooling. Our dogs were happy with plenty of new smells and animals they are not used to. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We stayed Oct long weekend and they certainly catered for the families with kids with activities during the day which seemed to be well received.

River run was great. Perfect for kids to ride bikes safely and play ball games (we were on the grassy area, not near the river). The hosts did an awesome of organising fun activities each day of the long weekend- animal feeding, waterside, disco and animal spotlight. Everyone was very friendly and relaxed. Amenities were simple and clean enough. Bring some swimming inflatables/kayaks as there is no shallow area for kids except for the boat ramp, which can get crowded. And fishing off the edges is challenging due to so many underwater trees. So don't gee the kids up for fishing 🤣 All round, very relaxing and a perfect spot for families!

Great site, clean amenities and really good facilities. The owners were lovely and did a great job organising activities for the kids. Slip and slide was a lot of fun along with the animal feeding. Would highly recommend for people with and even without kids to go stay here. The camp kitchen was neat and tidy as well. The site is also close enough to Tiaro to grab forgotten items too. We will definitely head back for another visit. Thank you for having us.
