Highly rated this hipcamp, jase and Katie are exceptional hosts going above and beyond to help their guests any way possible. Be sure to visit on the weekend, kids loved the movie nights! This place felt like we were visiting family, communal fire pit got everyone together chatting and having a laugh! An amazing vibe! We will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Special Place We Won’t Forget
Mountview Farmstay has been my absolute favourite stop so far on our lap around Australia.
From the moment we arrived, it was obvious how much thought, care and love has gone into creating this place. The animals are beautiful and incredibly well cared for — donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, poodles, and lots of adorable babies that my daughter was completely obsessed with.
What really makes Mountview special, though, is the hosts. They make you feel like part of the family from day one. Nothing is too much trouble, and the sense of community they’ve created is something you don’t find often.
For families, this place is a dream. The property is fully fenced and gated, so kids can safely roam, explore and make memories. The buggy rides were a huge hit, and the movie nights on the big screen with popcorn had all the kids excited. Meanwhile, the adults could relax around one of the best communal fire pits we’ve experienced on our travels.
We arrived as visitors and left with new friends and memories we’ll treasure. My 3-year-old still talks about Mountview daily and asks when we’re going back.
We will definitely be back. If you’re travelling with kids (or simply love animals, great company and a welcoming atmosphere), Mountview Farmstay is a must-visit. ❤️

We kwamen aan, er stond harde muziek aan, hebben het even aangekeken, zijn weggegaan en een andere rustiger camping gezocht. Wel zonde van het geld. Maar we komen hier voor onze rust.

Hands down the best farm stay experience my son and I've ever had! It was extremely affordable and deeply relaxing, but the highlight was the incredible hands-on access. There are hundreds of animals, and we got to touch so many of them, and even feed the cows. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and it was great learning from them

We had an incredible stay, Jason and his family were so welcoming, a great location, great property and lots to offer for both adults and kids. The playground, the farm animals, movie night, campfire and some fresh eggs. We had such a great time and recommend to anyone who is passing through.

Very nice and clean area.
The kids loved seeing all the animals and being able to read the fun facts signs that were around for them.
Having a RV Dump point was VERY helpful for us during the stay.
And in the arvo taking the kids down to the swings was lovely - thankyou for having us!

We loved it here! Close enough to home so can come out in a Friday afternoon. We don’t young kids but there were plenty here having the times of their lives with the farm animals and playing on the swings etc. Was quiet and plenty of room. There’s a market garden about 15 minutes away on Saturday mornings. Met some beautiful people. Will

Lovely peaceful place with very friendly hosts. Plenty of room to set up our van. We loved having access to the dog pens for our boy Yogi. So handy having the large washing machine available for $5 a load.

Space to spread out in our 23’3 caravan. Great playground that the kids enjoyed using. Access to bore water. Friday night kids movies under the stars. Very caring when my child had a potentially scary medical episode. There is daily animal feeding, however this ended up being their kids feeding the animals and we watched - not what was expected.

Me & hubby with our 2 dogs absolutely loved staying at Mountview! Not only were the grounds spacious & well set out with access to water on flat ground, there was also a family run farm and we were invited to go around 1700 hours for their animal feed time. 100% recommend 🫶

Mountview GETAWAY Glamping Stay
It was wonderful using the glamping stay at Mountview. The camper provided had everything you could need and was clean and tidy. The farm has plenty of opportunity to interact with the animals and the hosts were very friendly. Great place to unwind for a break.
