Welcome to Milfarrago, a peaceful small farm just 15 minutes from the beautiful coastal town of Yeppoon in Central Queensland. Located only a short drive from the Byfield Ranges, this is the ideal base for exploring the renowned 4WD tracks to Five Rocks and soaking in some of Australia's most breathtaking coastal scenery. Stay Your Way – Tiny House or Campsites Choose from our secluded tiny house, nestled in a private pocket of the farm with views across the ranges, or bring your own setup and stay at one of our three campsites: • 2 powered sites – each with access to water and power • 1 unpowered site – perfect for a more rustic experience Whether you're relaxing on the tiny house deck, enjoying the morning sun, or gathered around the firepit beneath a star-filled sky, Milfarrago offers a tranquil retreat with a personal touch. This was a great spot to relax with nice wide open grassed areas, reasonably price and close to Rockhampton. Mains water and power a bonus. Nice having the animals come close by and the $5 eggs were great

Our car broke down and our stay was chaotic (because of the weather) but peaceful got so much rain the kids had a river to swim in a beautiful but cheeky horse would come say hello and 2 snobby alpacas kids had a ball feeding the farm animals they would always try to have left overs to feed the pigs we were stuck and strandard this farm stay made it less stressful and being allowed to have our dogs there was an added bonus

Site 1 - Milfarrago Farm Stay
We had a lovely stay here! We have a 22ft caravan and two little kids under five and this was a wonderful stay for our set up and family. The kids (and us) absolutely loved the animals and it was a very peaceful couple of nights away with only a very short drive to Yeppoon, which was also beautiful. The eggs that we purchased were delicious too! Thank you so much for having us. We would definitely stay here again :)

Site 2 - Milfarrago Farm Stay
We stayed 4 nights on site 2 and it was perfect. So much space for our van and boat setup, flat spot to park, and some shade. The kids loved feeding the pigs and horse, who was super friendly. Katie was very quick replying to messages, and we ended up meeting both her and Paul who are very friendly and relaxed hosts. Location is great, 20mins to Rosslyn Bay harbour for taking off to the islands. Would definitely return. Thanks for having us having us!

Good location for exploring Yeppoon, lovely setting and animals. If you are on site 2 you will need a 20m cable as the power is closer to site 1.

Loved it here! Very peaceful which is what we were after. Stayed 2 nights, would definitely go again. Nice grassy area with a fire pit. Loved the farm animals, especially Keifer the white horse.

Great spot Friendly hosts Friendly animals dogs, horse, Alpaca and pigs. So close to Yeppoon and Byfield National Park Our second stay over a couple of years. And would happily stay again.

I can not recommend Milfarrago Farm Stay enough. The animals were the absolute highlight of the farm and my children were obsessed. My daughter is pretty shy, but she was so taken by the beautiful horse and if she could have taken little Frankie the caboodle home she would have. Thank you again Katie for your hospitality. We will absolutely be back 😍❤️

Great place to stay! We stayed in our caravan in the off grid area (2a3k). It was perfect. We were able to fill up our water tanks before we parked the caravan which was very handy. Beautiful grounds, friendly animals, helpful and friendly hosts, not far from town. Couldn’t fault it.

Great farm stay, with plenty of room. Only a short drive into Yeppoon Access to power and water was a bonus. Along with the farm fresh eggs. Would stay again.

Wow what a gem of a place.Katie & Paul have created such an inviting,welcoming space.We originally booked 2 nights and extended to 4 with little hassle as we loved the vibe and the serenity of the sunrises and animals wondering around.Kfeiffer(the 20year old horse) loves carrots and the pigs will take any scraps u would like to get rid of.Katie & Paul have created a great space to unwind and still explore the lovely town of Yeppoon(only 15mins away). We will be back,so thank you Katie&Paul for ur warm hospitality 👏💕

I felt safe and secure, hook up for water and power was great. Enjoyed the farm animals and had a pleasant chat to the owner. I would recommend this Hipcamp to fellow travellers

Perfect place to let the kids be kids, without the chaos of caravan parks. We had the no power site, cleared maintained spot, flat area, generous spacing, camp fire area out the front, full sun for the solar panel’s. Kids adored feeding & interacting with the animals, and the swing off to the right. We didn’t pack the bikes but should have! Close enough to Yeppon for day trips. Do recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! Katie and Paul are such warm and welcoming hosts, and their property is absolutely stunning. The peaceful surroundings made for a wonderfully relaxing getaway. There are plenty of friendly animals around, and the horse was especially gentle and affectionate — a real highlight! We felt completely at ease and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, affordable, nature-filled escape.

Very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space and not far from Yeppoon. The resident horse loves carrots 🥕 and a sneaky steal off your plate 😂. No such thing as left overs - the family pigs 🐷 are happy to eat the scraps. Highly recommended.

We had the powered site. Very open and comfortable. Enjoyed a great campfire. Close proximity to town if you need to head back in. Driveway was steep for our van causing it to bottom out.

Lots of wide open space. Owners were friendly. Power and water hook ups were great! The animals were friendly - kids loved them. Particularly the horse was very friendly! Beautiful sunsets. Great place to relax. Not too far from Yeppoon.

We loved our stay! The gorg animals were such a fun bonus, and the hosts were absolutely lovely and helpful. The night sky was incredible with so many stars, and the whole place was super peaceful. We woke up to the sound of a rooster, which just added to the charm. Would definitely come back!
