Beautiful spot. Enjoyed watching the birds fly around the area. Shower and toilet where good for the first time campers on the trip.

What a great secluded spot this is. Its fully fenced too so even better for dogs. The grounds were beautiful and hosts were super lovely.

Love coming here. It’s quiet, nice views, all the amenities for comfortable camping. Easy access in and out for the caravan and lots of room to set up. Enjoyed exploring the creek with the dogs. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately we didn't go at the best time. Creek was dry at the time and lots of mosquitoes around. I think the location is good and the facilities are really handy, and it's private.

Fabulous little spot with all the facilities including power! Private site with incredible bird wildlife. Ryan was wonderful, dropping by to make sure everything was ok for us and telling us a bit about the history of the property and the areas around it. Excellent way to spend a weekend so close to Brisbane and to be able to have a hot shower was just amazing!

We loved camping at Lacey’s Creek on Ryan and Jess’ property. Clean amenities were great. The site was tidy and flat with some lovely shade from a large tree in the corner of the lot. It felt private yet it was close to the road and easy access to Dayboro township.
Ryan and Jess were super helpful and dropped by to make sure we were settled in and good to go. I’d recommend bringing games or a good book as there is limited activity in the area. Also very limited phone and internet service. We brought solar and battery power but there is a power supply if needed on site. Highly recommend if you want to dip your toes into camping without being too out of the way.

We absolutely loved our stay at McKenzie Creek. The touch of luxury with the shower, toilet, running water and power outlet were enough to turn our non-camper into a “I’d go again” camper. The area is peaceful, quiet and spacious and the host is super helpful and communicated well. I’d highly recommend staying at this hicamp.

This spot is lovely. Ultimate camping luxury; there was a hot water shower, composting toilet, power, and a sink with running water. Everything was clean and worked.
The cows and creek made this place unique. They were very friendly and would visit the fence line often and they walked through to get to the creek. Overall the land was beautiful, well-kept, and the hills just looked amazing at sunset.
Bonus - the bird life was exceptional! Red backed wrens played in the grass the lined the campsite, wedge-tailed eagles circled above, and we saw a couple of uncommon dove types, just to name a few.

Best spot ever, so quiet and peaceful. Loved the cows who came to say hi, the site was quite roomy and very private. Lovely clean compost toilet and hot shower. Great spot to unwind surrounded by farm land and hills. We will definitely be back.

A darling little site, quiet and peaceful surrounded by farmland. The cows next door are adorable, but are separated enough from the field the camp is in so if you've got dogs theres no stress about them getting too close to the fence. The creek is a lovely little shady spot, easily accessible. The shower, toilet and sink are very clean and make this site one of the best.

Ryan & Jess are wonderful hosts. Camping area is very private and quiet. Shower is hot with great pressure from the bore water. Cutest amenities I've come across. Cows inquisitive. Ensure tick prevention is up to date as it is a high tick load area. Will definitely be visiting again.

Loved camping here with our 2 large dogs. Both were first time campers. Loved having a fence around the ground so they were free to wander and not be on a lead the whole trip. Heaps of space. Water, power, fire pit, hot shower, toilet were amazing to have. Camp ground is flat and super clean. High grass hedge gave the grounds privacy. Gated access to the creek. Easy to find with quick responses from owner. 10 min drive into town. Cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful spot with great, clean facilities. Felt like we were miles away from city living yet close enough for a relaxing long weekend. Perfect location for camping with a pet if you need a site to yourself (I.e. if your dog is not great with other dogs when on a lead). A great size area for 2-3 setups with friends. Highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had such a relaxing stay at this campsite. The area is flat and private, perfect for setting up, and it had everything we needed – clean showers and toilets, power access, and even a fire pit for cozy evenings. Our dog loved it too, and it was great to find a truly dog-friendly spot with space to roam and a lovely creek nearby. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained – we’ll definitely be back!

Awesome little well-kept site tucked away beside a flowing creek with plenty of space for a group.
The area was mostly flat and the provided ammentities made camping with kids that much easier.
Ryan was welcoming and gave plenty of tips about where to explore and what to see at different times of the day (most we will have to try next time as it rained for us unfortuantely).
We would defintely return.
