Super private site, all to yourself with a tidy toilet and showers nearby. Creek runs right behind the site and my dog and I had the best time exploring the area!

Stayed here solo to ease back into camping, and overall it was a great experience. The location is peaceful and private, and Ryan and Jess were communicative.
One thing worth flagging for fellow tent campers: after heavy rain, ant activity on the site seems to pickup noticeably. The nests seem to flood and the ants relocate while the ground dries out, and by the next morning my tent had a lot of uninvited guests — enough that I cut my stay a little short. To be fair, these are native ants, and the hosts shared that they take a deliberately low-chemical approach to protect the creek and surrounding ecosystem, which I respect.
If you're in a motorhome, camper trailer, or anything off the ground, this likely won't affect you at all. But if you're in a tent, especially after wet weather, it's worth being prepared. I personally will bring a large ground sheet, and sealed containers on my next stay.

Great camping spot not too far from Brisbane. Being far enough down a rural road meant it was very quiet and secluded for a group. Enough room to fit two camper trailers with plenty of space for kids to run around. Amenities were clean and nearby running creek gave the kids plenty of enjoyment.

We had an excellent trip with our two dogs. The property and facilities were clean, well maintained, and beautifully secluded, making it the perfect peaceful getaway. The fully fenced area meant we could relax without worrying about the dogs. We will definitely be back!

At a slightly cheaper price this is one of the easiest recommendations for a camp I can make. Great facilities and a serene location not far from those who live on the northside of Brisbane.
At the listed price it’s hard to recommend as you are extremely close to the hosts house and hear talking and dogs barking during the stay.
Besides this, it’s one of the best stays in the north Brisbane area.

Recently spent a few days camping at McKenzie Creek and had a great experience. The toilets and showers were absolutely lovely and very clean. Jess came down to introduce herself, such a friendly and welcoming lady.
It was also great that our little dog could roam around, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t fault anything. The site is private, well established, and very well maintained.
Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at McKenzie's Creek, it is in a pretty spot located in a secluded gully.
The very clean toilet & shower, along with access to power are an added bonus which provide guests with a bit of comfort.
We loved the bird and wildlife. The fire pit was very handy, especially for toasting our jaffles.
The single site is very spacious, level, and with great turning room which can accommodate Caravans.
With Dayboro only a short drive away, for extra shopping needs, a sneaky beer at the local pub or a delicious meal in one of Dayboro's cafes, McKenzie's Creek is well located and we would recommend a stay at this special part of the world.

Ryan was very easy to communicate with and always responded instantly whenever we needed clarification. He welcomed us warmly and was more than happy to help in any way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.
The site itself was spectacular and had everything we needed for a perfect school holiday getaway with the kids. We would definitely recommend this place to other families looking for a relaxing and well-maintained holiday spot.

Really lovely secluded spot close enough to travel to Dayboro for supplies, but it feels far enough away to relax immediately on arrival. We stayed with another two vans and a rooftop camper setup and there was plenty of space in the middle for games during the day and a firepit at night. The addition of a toilet and a hot shower made it a comfortable stay for everyone.

My partner and I loved staying at Mackenzie Creek, it was beautiful and peaceful. We loved having the land to ourselves for a couple nights. Definitely would recommend and will definitely be going again!

Phenomenal campsite with full privacy, fully functioning toilet/ shower and immaculate surroundings. The hosts were very personable and responsive. The campsite is close to Dayboro for any essentials you may have forgotten. Absolutely loved our time there and so lucky to have beautiful weather.

Thank you Ryan & family for sharing your property. The facilities were clean & the very large grass area mowed & well maintained. We camped during a bit of a heatwave & were grateful for the shower to have a quick cool off. Friendly cows, little pggies & even a field mouse visited. Will be back & looking forward to seeing the creek flowing. Easy directions to follow & quick trip into Dayboro if you need anything or just want to support the lovely little township.

This was such a great spot! Ryan was lovely and the area was well maintained. It felt very private and the prefect spot to take our dog. Having a shower and toilet was an added luxury. Would definitely stay again

What an amazing property situated in the middle of farming country. The section is very private and quiet, with plenty of places for tents. The shower and composting toilet are great too. I spent two nights with my small tent and my car. The only downside is lack of shade so ended up using the shower block as a shadey place to cool meals. Definitely recommend a morning walk up to the turn off too. The horses and cows are very friendly. Ryan made sure I was all settled in and communication was excellent. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Mckenzie creek. So private, clean and yet close to Daybrough town for lunch. I felt safe camping there with our 13 month old who loved playing around the campsite. The hot shower and toilet all to ourselves felt like 7 star camping 🏕
