It was a secure camp site but need better facilities. 1 portaloo isn't good enough for the cost of a site. There are no river views from the camp ground as shown in picture and the ground is very dry and dusty with holes dug by animals. There was no information given on arrival and had no idea you could access pool. We were very disappointed.

Very relaxing, a bit of a drive to Townsville central, but to come back to tranquility it's worth it. Two toilets and one hot shower. Not many people there. A couple of fire pits to use to toast marshmallows at. You have to be self contained power and water wise, but there are a

Well located not far off the Bruce highway. Nice open and level spaces. Plenty of room. Good access. Good security. Friendly hosts. About 25 minutes from the centre of Townsville. Excellent value.

Great area to camp being 30min drive from the city center and much better than staying in main part of Townsville. Plenty of room. Secure gated entry.
Shopping centre only 10 mins away.

Toilet and shower facilities need to be better maintained as the flushing of the portaloo was quite hard for the ladies to flush. Could not adjust the temperature of the hot water unit so we had to have a cold shower. If you had your own shower and toilet it was a very peaceful place to stay. The host came to greet us and was very polite.

There was no creek frontage?
Too expensive for what you get.
Bathroom and toilet facilities need to be improved, single shower catering for up to 50 guests ???
And dirty/smelly port-a-loos.
Holes everywhere from the wallabies, have to watch your step if you don’t want a twisted ankle.

Really lovely place, great location an easy drive to Townsville city centre. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to talk to. Property is well maintained with portable toilet and shower. I would definitely stay again if visiting Townsville.

Micks property was a beautiful place to stop for a few nights. The open paddock was plenty big enough for us to roll in and set up comfortably. The property is extremely peaceful with an abundance of gorgeous wildlife. I would definitely recommend Micks property for any travellers passing through. It was easy to book and Mick was extremely pleasant host. If we come through Townsville again in the future we will book the property again. Thanks Mick

It was lovely and peaceful staying at Mick’s place but also not far from shops and to drive into Townsville either. Enjoyed being amongst nature and seeing the wallabies. Mick was very quick to respond to any questions I had and his boys were very helpful too. It would be nice to come back when there’s water flowing in the creek for our dog to have a swim.

Nick and his family are truly wonderful people who immediately made us feel right at home, and even offered a feast from the BBQ on the weekend. The campground was spacious and often had large groups of kangaroos feeding off the grass. Mick was very quick to respond to any issues we had. We highly recommend staying here.

Great stay at Mam! Amazing green field to camp with nice cool creek at the back! Mick and family are lovely and very accommodating. Nice and close to everything, but quite and feel like your in the country too. Highly recommend!
