This was one of the most amazing campsites we have visited yet using HipCamp. Shontel was engaging and helpful and we absolutely loved the sunset views. There are other campsites but they are out of side and out of hearing there were people there but we didn’t hear or see them! The cows roaming through the paddock camp were friendly and really added to the experience. Definitely need a 4x4 to get up there especially if its been raining but its an easy drive up. 10/10.

Amazing location, the host was so helpful! We showed up late and in the dark and they guided us to our site. Amazing site number three with the giant tree. Was just picturesque.

The view was beautiful, the spot we camped had sunset and sunrise views. A great spot for a campfire while watching the sunset. 4WD is definitely recommend to get up to the camp spots, it was an easy track for a 4WD but I don’t think 2WD would make it. We were the first group to arrive and I believe got one of the best spots. Loved being able to bring our dog along for the adventure. Will definitely come back.

We stayed up the top on the long weekend. Such beautiful views and very peaceful, greeted by two beautiful sunsets and clear nights where you shown how beautiful country skies can be at night.
Heading up to the top the poor Navara lost traction about 300-500m past the fig tree while following behind another vehicle had to drop into low range which was no issue.
Definitely recommend this place the 360 views are awesome. If you've missed something whether its food or camp gear related Gympie is only about 30 mins out and has plenty of facilities.

Great view both day and night with the lights of Gympie adding a nice touch. The hosts were very pleasant so were the wandering cattle.

Mildly steep drive up the mountain, but nothing difficult for any 4wd. Nice level site with incredible views and absolutely nobody around.
If you’re looking for some solitude with a view this is your spot.

It was an incredible spot! Recommended to so many friends and family that are in Hervey Bay and travel up to. Only downside would be the cow business, maybe a gate to close off the camp areas? But then I guess the cows wouldn’t have been so close. Besides that it was incredible, amazing property!!

My husband and I loved our camping trip at this site. The views are breathtaking and you get to see both sunset and sunrise.
It was peaceful, and although we saw other campers, we did not hear them and our setup was still very private.
My only advice would be to make sure you bring a shovel for the cow poo that might be around on site. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying at Magic on the Mountain!

This spot was absolutely insane!! Have already recommend to our friends and family. The sunsets, sunrises, and stars are so beautiful, so make sure you stay during good weather to make the most out of it!
Super private, feels safe, and homey.
Also recommend bringing a large rug because there is a fair bit of cow manure (all dried up, not stinky at all) just so you can walk around freely / sit down.

Absolute beautiful view, property is clean and tidy and the host is extremely lovely and welcoming. 100% recommend, very nice river and national park just down road, if you are looking for a place to go and relax for a beautiful sunset and play with some friendly cows, this is the place :)

They have some nice spots there but you have to be lucky to snagit. It's bush camping on a rough terrain more suited for the Young, but the views are truly amazing.

We loved our stay at Magic On The Mountain, a fun drive up the mountains and such a stunning view when you’re up there.
Would definitely recommend this awesome campsite, if you’re lucky enough to camp where the cows rest of a night as well you wake up to a stunning sunrise and watching the friendly cows start their day.
We will definitely be back.

The second spot out of the 3 is by the far the best. The views are amazing, and the tree is big enough to keep you out of the sun, oh the cows come round at night

Fantastic spot with amazing views! The drive up the hill is worth every bit of effort for the views that you get across the valley. It’s great being able to camp at such a picturesque site while still having privacy from the other sites.
