Lucky Valley is located on the edge of a spring fed gully, surrounded by trees and wildlife. You might spot some wallabies hopping around or hear the birds singing in the morning. Enjoy a bush walk around the property and take a dip in the creek, or just chill out with a book and enjoy the peace and quiet. The terrain is flat and easy to access, and the area has a history of gold fossicking. You never know what you might find! Lucky Valley is only 20 minutes from Warwick, where you can find shops, restaurants and attractions. And don't forget to say hello to our friendly mountain ponies, they love visitors! Please note we do NOT have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Such a great spot! Flat grassy area is perfect for camping. I swam in the billabong, patted the horses, watched birds & kangaroos. It was perfect. I love that you have the whole area to yourself with no other campers.

This is our second time here and we loved it all over again! Swimming hole/s are great, seem to have a spring so always full. Long enough we did some kyaking . Horses are friendly and love attention from those familiar with horses, still good with others but less likely to approach. Enjoy carrots 🥰 Plenty of room to walk and adventure. Local wildlife are amazing (wedgetail Eagle regularly overhead, roos and even a bilby (i think)) We could probably spend a week here! Especially with Warwick so close for forgotten items, dump points or even dinner out.

I had a fantastic night at Kellie’s property. The place is peaceful, beautiful and I felt very relaxed. Booking and instructions were easy (properly left DIRECTLY after the sign pictured). The flat area that the springs is wonderful, lots of firewood within 100-200m of the main camp space, and a love fire pit. Kellie’s communication was great and speedy. My dogs had a ball. One thing to note: there were a lot of buzzies so just be aware of where you walk the dogs. I can’t wait to return in summer when I can swim. Thanks very much Kellie!

I would 100% recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!! The area is absolutely beautiful!! We had the best weekend away, even took a cold plunge in the water on our doorstep!!! Firewood available all around, ponies to say hallo to in the morning, beautiful sunrise and sunset, could not fault anything!! Thanks Kellie!

Such a great spot to relax. We positioned the camper so we overlooked the spring. Great way to wake up on the morning. The horses came for a visit and were very friendly. We all loved our stay. Thanks for opening up this spot

It’s very quiet, need a 4wheel truck for transport. Loved the wagtails kingfisher and all 4 horses. The horses loved the carrots Entrance slightly overgrown, hard to find the gate. Great place though 🐴

It was wonderful to have the camp all to ourselves, and not worry about other campers getting too close or making noise. It was very peaceful though a little road noise. The waterhole was nice, and plenty of firewood to be found. Ponies visit every day.

I've been to The Gully a few times and I absolutely love it. A great grassy site for tents, lovely horses, beautiful bush & billabongs. My kids had so much fun swimming in the billabongs.

Most amazing Hipcamp! If you are looking for the perfect quiet getaway with no one else around, then this is the Hipcamp for you! Property is beautiful and the setup around the water hole is positioned perfectly for all hours of the day! Rate 10/10! Will definitely be back!!!

Hubby and I had an amazing, relaxing time camping by the water. Recent rains made it the perfect place to cool off on the hot days!!!. So much wildlife - wallabies, possums, hares, and numerous birds…. And we had many visits from the ponies! Thanks again Kellie for your hospitality, such a beautiful place and so nice to have the place to ourselves.

Lovely quiet spot for our night away with 2 little grandchildren. Easy access and plenty of firewood around to enjoy a fire. 4G internet availability via personal phone an unexpected bonus. Hopefully will be able to enjoy again one day.

Great spot! Really enjoyed our stay even though the weather and bugs did a damn good job of trying to mess it up! The horses daily visits were a nice treat! Had to earn their trust for a pat but also great they didn't invade the campsite. Daily rain made the swimming holes nice and fresh!

Great spot! Flat, grassy area near the billabong is perfect for camping. Lots of birds & wallabies. Having the whole area to myself was amazing and so peaceful. I definitely recommend staying here.

We just had a very relaxing long weekend at the Gully as we were the only ones there it was quite and private with the occasional visit from the resident ponies and plenty of kangaroos in the afternoon for a drink from the waterholes as well as heaps of bird life. There’s plenty of room all with level grass areas to setup and easy access to the camping area and fire pit with plenty of firewood. Kellie was very friendly and gave excellent directions to the property. Thank you Kellie for sharing your property with us and looking forward to our next visit. Cheers Rick and Cath

We loved camping at the gully. Plenty of space for the kids and dogs and very private. The horses visiting was always welcome and the dogs and kids loved exploring and splashing around in the billabong.

I loved camping at the Gully. Directions from Kellie were clear and accurate. Our camp by the waterhole was flat, grasses and private. Absolutely loved this place. The horses were friendly and the brown and white one very inquisitive, but by no means annoying. I would recommend this spot.
