Liafail Is a family farm which farms sheep, cattle, ducks and of course our main feature, pigeons. The property has some rustic areas for camping and roaming. Our beautiful private cottage overlooks the lawn and private campfire space. The cottage sleeps 4 with two guests in the large bed and 2 on mattresses on the floor. There is also plenty of space outside for additional guests to set up tents. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable staying including, toilet, shower and kitchen area with plenty of hot water available. Aircon and fans for you to use at your discretion. Indoor wood heater for your enjoyment at no extra charge. The outlook is to a wooded valley with sheep and cattle, light the campfire in the evenings and sit under the stars. Take the kids for a hike up through the hill and check out the various land types. We had a fabulous time at Andrew’s place. We had a few families so most camped out in the grass while I stayed in the bed with our baby. It was lovely to have a warm shower and kitchen whilst stilll enjoying the camping vibe with a big camp fire. Andrew and his family were lovely and brought us some freshly home baked bread to share with their home made jam. Yum! It was close enough to Toowoomba that we ventured in there for lunch and look around one day. We loved our stay. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Liafail farm. The Private cottage is awesome, having everything you need for a weekend away and more, with some beautiful views of the landscape at sunrise. Andrew was lovely to meet on arrival and provided us with some great information about the farm, where we were welcome to roam the paddock to watch the sheep. He also provided us with firewood. The 2 farm dogs (Buddy and Pixie) was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, they are such intelligent dogs that love their visitors. Thank you Andrew and Amanda for making our stay super comfortable and memorable, we will be back again and can’t wait to bring new people to this amazing place!

Stunning place with lot of space to camp and beautiful cottage with lot of amenities.. The stay highlight was Andrew (and his 2 little girls)'s guided tour to the Pigeon Farm. Of course all other farm animals were lovely... my kids already miss Pixie and Buddy.. We are already planning for our next trip..

We had a great time at Liafail cottage. The sheep, pigeons and friendly dogs were loved by our kids. We enjoyed the cottage while the kids camped. The campfire was a great way to hang out as a family. Our boys loved exploring the many paddocks and old buildings on the farm. The cottage had everything we needed. Thank you for the beautiful loaf of bread on arrival and your hospitality. We will be back :)

Absolutely beautiful spot! Nice and private with the exception of trixie the pup who likes to sit by the fire with you. We had a great time looking around the farm and relaxing on the deck

if you want to experience farm life, this place is very authentic and clean farm house, complete appliances in room and kitchen. Andrew (the host) who is also a farmer himself is very generous with his time, during our stay he took his time just to show our kids around the farm, feeding animals, and They are flexible with check in and out. Very recommended 👍

This was exactly what our family needed. To hit pause on life and enjoy the peace and stillness on liafail farm. Perfect for young children. Liafail farm gave my little ones an opportunity to experience and explore farm life with sheep, cattle, chickens, pups and of course pigeons. It’s a working farm and Andrew and his family were extremely hospitable providing us with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic farm stay and we will 100% be back again! The hosts were very responsive to questions and looked after us so well. The accommodation was better equipped than any Airbnb we have stayed in (fresh milk, toiletries, pantry staples, etc), very comfy beds and beautiful view to wake up to. We even had fresh bread delivered and firewood several times a day. Great spot for kids to explore and talk to all the farm animals, bush walking and only 30mins from Toowoomba. Definitely exceeded expectations!

It was a very comfortable stay. Andrew was very friendly and approachable. Kids loved the time with sheep’s and birds. Had a wonderfull bonfire. Good place to spend with family and kids.

Farm Glamping

We had the most wonderful time camping at Liafell. Andrew’s cabin turns camping into glamming with all the luxuries you could want! Lovely kitchen (with coffee machine AND milk frother!), bathroom with flushing toilet and hot water, lovely fire pit, a queen bed and 2 singles PLUS a TV! We pitched our tents over New Years and had a brilliant time. Andrew and the family were absolutely lovely, always happy for a chat and so kind. Andrew brought over FRESH BREAD which his wife has just baked when we arrived - drool!! The trip was made even better by all the farms furry friends, notably Pixie and Buddy who we all fell head over heels in love with. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, I would absolutely rebook.

Camping to perfection!

I went with myself and two children and it was the most beautiful cabin. Andrew was so lovely and helpful and gave us the most incredible experience and one we will treasure as a family of three forever and a day! I would recommend this over and over to anyone! Family or couple! Don’t miss this magical time away! So grateful for it! Will be back!

We came out with the kids and had a relaxed visit - Andrew and his family were wonderful hosts who took time to show us around the farm and share their space with us. We plan to come back again and bring more family with us!

So amazing! Loved our stay there, amazing spot. The photos dont do the place justice. Some lovely, playful friendly dogs on the farm that loved our pats and cuddles. Hosts were so friendly and accomodating. Was able to have a big fire that kept us snug and warm all night. Just awesomeness all round! Thanks!
