4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

For those who love exploring, carrying everything they need on their back and testing their survival skills (ie hiking up into the bush with all your camping gear on your back). We have beautiful and rugged mountains covered with ancient forests and a wonderful biodiversity.  We have a whole beautiful valley with a crystal clear spring-fed creek, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. 4WD recommended to get to our property. This is a dog and horse friendly property, but there is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating them before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage in the valley, but if you hike to the hilltops you can get coverage.

Pilgrim's Rest

RV/tent site · Sleeps 14 · Vehicles under 10 m
Right on the creek and closest to the swimming hole. The swimming hole is a shared space that all campers can use.  It is about mid-thigh deep - great for kids but not big enough for adult swimming.   There is a flat area under the trees and gently sloping area out in the open for those looking for some sunshine. Easy access, close to the driveway.   Suitable for a single family or small group. We have a whole beautiful valley with a crystal clear spring-fed creek, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. We have 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property, but there is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating them before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the campsites or our house (so if we're home I won't to answer calls to our mobile phone - please use our landline instead), but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get signal for emergencies. FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: This is rough, rugged country which makes access in a city wheelchair or walker difficult, but if you have a sense of adventure we'd love to work with you to create the holiday of your dreams.

A small but beautifully flat campsite under the trees, and right next to the creek. Suitable for caravan, camper-trailer or tent. Easy access, close to the driveway.  Campers with more than 1 or 2 vehicles have also used some of the adjoining, sloped, land for some of their campers. Big Logs

RV/tent site · Sleeps 31 · Vehicles under 10 m
You have 2 options for this campsite, on either side of the creek.   One is easy access and suitable for a caravan on the flat next to the creek, just 10m off our driveway.   The other is 4WD access only as you have to cross through the creek, where it is a bit muddy, slushy and rocky, to get there, and traverse up a rough track. Beautiful open area off the beaten track with large logs for the children to run along and right next to the creek.   Suitable for a single family, or invite a group of friends with their 4WD's. A group with mixed vehicles could camp either side.  The whole area is yours, whether your group is large or small. FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: This is rough, rugged country which makes access in a city wheelchair or walker difficult, but if you have a sense of adventure we'd love to work with you to create the holiday of your dreams.

PLEASE NOTE: 4WD required - the track down to this campsite is very steep.  Secluded campsite hiding in the gum trees. Perfect place to get away from it all and explore the beauty of creation.  Not recommended for caravans due to steep access. Up on the northern aspect of a hill, this site has lovely views of the surrounding countryside.   There's a fire pit and enough cleared space for family games.  Tranquil setting on a slope with lots of firewood you can gather for your campfire.  Access not suitable for a caravan.  4WD needed. Children 5yo and under are free so do not need to be included in your booking numbers, but please message us to let us know how many are coming. We have a whole beautiful valley with a crystal clear spring-fed creek, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest.
