We enjoyed our stay at Anna’s place, it was very peaceful. The hosts were lovely and accomodating and the directions we received were very clear. Would recommend!

We had a great 3 night stay at Steve and Anna’s property. It was dry and not much water in the creek, as they hadn’t had any rain for a few months. But we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We went on daily walks, explored the creek, chilled and relaxed by the fire. It was a perfect little getaway.
Anna and Steve were very lovely and accommodating.

We had such a lovely stay at this Hipcamp. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home and let us know that if we needed anything during our stay, we could simply reach out. When we packed up to leave, they even came down to check in and see how our stay went, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Although the creek wasn’t running during our visit, it honestly didn’t bother us at all. The property was still peaceful, private, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our kids aged 16, 13, and 7 absolutely loved it too, especially exploring the property and collecting firewood for the campfire.
A beautiful, quiet spot for families or anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. We’d happily stay again and would recommend to our friends and family.

We loved camping at Anna’s Swan Creek camping spot. It was very peaceful and relaxing and Anna was an amazing host even letting our kids feed her animals. Will definitely be back ❤️

Loved our stay here. Very private, peaceful, plenty of room, nice level ground. Good to have 4wd to tow caravan up steep gravel driveway. Anna was very nice, we definitely want to come back again.

Anna and Steve are friendly and helpful hosts. Stayed here a couple of times now and recommend. Easter 2026 conditions were dry. Trickle in the creek and dry surrounds but that didn’t impact our camping experience. Nice quiet location.

A very private little spot. It does have a steep driveway but a 4x4 will be fine. Ana and Steve were very welcoming.

Flat surface for the caravan.
Creek was a bit muddy from the rain but lovely and cool on a warm day.

Lovely, quiet spot to camp at Higgins Country Retreat. Beautiful creek (can be difficult to enter for a swim if you're not sure-footed). No phone service but if this doesn't worry you, I highly recommend. This is our second time here and we were on Site 1. Anna is a responsive, welcoming host and the site was well maintained and plenty of firewood was available.

Great little spot. Plenty of room at site 1 for an off road caravan roof top tent and swags for the kids. With room to spare. Plenty of fire wood around with a nice pile left for us on arrival. Short walk down the bank to a nice sallow spot for the smaller kids to swim or a short walk up stream for a bit deeper water. Heaps of wild life to see. Only a short drive back onto Warwick for when you inevitably forget to pack something. Will definitely be back again.

Overall it was good, acces to Creek wasn't what we thought and access with a van could get tricky if you were amateur. It wasn't to bad, very spacey and the kids enjoyed climbing the hill and exploring the creek.

We stayed on site 1 and it was a beautiful, serene spot amongst the trees. The sound of the nearby creek was lovely, and access to firewood and a recycling bin was appreciated. Anna was very welcoming and gave us all the info we needed. We'd love to stay again.

Lovely quiet spot. Nice spacious area amongst the trees, with plenty of flat ground to choose from if tent camping. Plenty of water in the creek, which puppy loved, but a little chilly for me this time of year.

We had such a great time camping at Anna and Steve’s property. They were both so hospitable and lovely. The property itself is beautiful and our kids spent all day playing alongside the creek. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic location if you want to be camping in a secluded bush site. Anna and Steve were great hosts. Plenty of firewood available and a great flat site to pitch the tent. Thanks for a great stay Anna and Steve.

We like to be able to see the water from our campsite and that wasn’t the case but also no cleared path down to the water

Camped at site 1 and it was amazing. Large site with a huge fire pit in the middle. We had 2 15ft vans and you could easily fit 2 or 3 more and not be on top of each other. Site was beautifully maintained and no weeds. Site 2 was at the other end of the creek so both sites were private. Went to sleep with the sound of water rippling which was lovely. Road in and out over the causeway was steep but very easy to traverse, not rough or rocky. Anna was great communicating with us and met us at the gate to show us to our site. Tip : when looking for the driveway keep an eye out for the little metal car atop some tyres ( we were going a bit quick and missed it, had to turn around which with a van was a bit difficult) overall an amazing stay.

Our family stayed at Site 1 for Easter 2025. The site is reasonably level has good shade and very private. Access to Swan Creek easy down at the crossing. We had a group of 4 adults, 3 children, and one dog. With three tents, large tarp shelter, and toilet ensuite, we had plenty of room. Fire pit was big. Creek was safe for kids with supervision. It was flowing pretty well so a good deep pool at the crossing, slow knee to waist deep to the west and cascades and small pools knee deep to the east. Anna was really friendly and helpful and checked in a couple of times which is always nice. Highly recommend.

Site 2 - Swan Creek camping
Easter camping at Higgins Country Retreat was great! Site 2 easily accommodated our group of 12. There is a steep section to the creek but we had no issues towing our camper in and out. Anna provides clear directions and instructions. We would stay again.

Nice quiet spot and very private. Short stroll through long grass to get to the creek but is lovely flowing clear water.
