Welcome to Guffy Acres Hobby Farm 🍃 Once a thriving apple orchard spanning generations, our lush property was lovingly restored by the Newman family after over a decade of rest. Now a peaceful haven just 3 hours south-west of Brisbane and a short drive from Stanthorpe & Tenterfield, we’re home to a growing flock of goats with plans for exciting new ventures. With 4 beautiful campsites, we invite you to unplug, explore, and experience the charm of our farm. Nestled near local wineries and a stunning national park, it’s the perfect spot for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Site 4 is up the back of our property and is very spacious and private with no through traffic from other campers. The site is almost 1 km from the road and has a range of view options depending on which way you face, paddock, bushland or granite mountain.

The moment we pulled in, we both just went wow! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and instantly made the whole place feel calm and welcoming. The campsite was super private, quiet, and really easy to access. Such a peaceful little pocket, and our dog was living her best life exploring the space. And the host, honestly, such a standout. Friendly, easygoing, really accommodating… and a bit mysterious and handsome, which didn’t hurt the overall vibe at all! We loved our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxed, nature-filled escape.

Great reception, good communication, beautiful site. It was totally private, wood supplied was outstanding, quiet and peaceful with a cacophony of native frogs lulling us to sleep. Thank you, Andrew, for welcoming us and our two dogs onto your land.

Had a fantastic stay over by the dam. The goat feeding was a very fun and unique experience you can tell Andrew cares for his animals and land. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping in Stanthorpe. Was shown where I’d be camping and felt like I had the entire place to myself. Will be coming back again!

We stayed on Site 4 which was perfect for us. Totally private with no drive through traffic, lovely shady trees, firewood to forage, flat (enough) land that could fit a heap of people and close to everything we wanted to explore. The hosts were lovely and helpful. There was lots of room to walk around and check out the goats.

Guffy Acres is in the perfect spot for a trip to the area for visiting wineries. Centrally located, Andrew was welcoming and very helpful. The site easy to access, level, and protected from wind gusts. We enjoyed our time immensely.

Beautiful spot amongst the trees looking out over paddocks in the valley. The site was well maintained and Andrew was very welcoming, meeting us on arrival and showing us around. Would stay here again, very quiet spot yet so central to all the attractions south of Stanthorpe.

Had a great time on Andrew’s farm. Nice and quiet and the site was very private. Nice and close to activities and attractions near Stanthorpe. Andrew was friendly and quick to assist with check in and when we needed our water topped up. We’d definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Guffy Acre Farm! Andrew and his partner were warm, friendly and helpful. They were also very welcoming of our puppy Cooper. The property is well located with multiple wineries in the vicinity and only a short drive from Jamworks if you are looking for a good coffee, food and some goodies to take home. We would highly recommended staying at Andrews property if you are visiting Stanthorpe and especially if you are bringing your fur babies.

We really enjoyed our stay. Andrew was a great host and met us in arrival and took us down to our site. We were happy with how quiet and tranquil his property was while still being close to Stanthorpe and all the points of interest. We will be back for sure

Peaceful and quiet. Great wood. You are next to the dam but its not directly in view from the camp site - you have to go to the dam wall to see it. Sunsets are stunning. Andrew is a nice host.

Andrew was friendly and communicated well. The site is nice and level, well away from town and the goats were super friendly and entertaining for the kids. Andrew had some firewood waiting for us which was greatly appreciated on the cool evenings.

We had the best time at site 4. Exploring the very handy Wineries and Brewery, bush walking at Girraween National Park and relaxing in the serenity at camp at night. Very quiet and Andrew gave us some local inside info.

Lovely spacious, peaceful place! Easy to get our caravan to the site by the dam which was private from other sites. We purchased firewood which Andrew supplied at the site. He was a responsive, genial host. The farm is close to wineries, places to eat and town for supplies but far enough away from the road so it's lovely and quiet. Just cute little bird sounds!

Great stay by the dam. Several flat places to choose from on the site, with plenty of shade from any side, and the area was well maintained. Andrew was great, made sure we were set up fine, and even let us know of a few wild berries growing in the area.
