Majestic mountain views in the Scenic Rim, on this private 60+ acre property offers an unforgettable bush camping experience surrounded by nature, wide open skies and panoramic mountain views. Positioned approximately 400 metres above sea level, the property captures sweeping 360-degree views across the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges, delivering incredible sunrises, glowing sunsets and some of the best stargazing in South East Queensland. On clear nights the sky comes alive with stars, far from the light pollution of the city. With over 25 hectares of land to explore, guests have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the quiet of the countryside. Internal tracks wind through the property allowing visitors to explore different camping areas, take in the views, and experience the changing landscape from the lower paddocks to the elevated hilltop known as Dingo Hill. Two dams on the property attract local wildlife and birdlife, and it’s common to see kangaroos, birds of prey and other native animals moving through the landscape. The property sits right beside Moogerah Peaks National Park and close to Mount French Lookout, making it an ideal base for nature lovers wanting to explore the region. Campers can choose between two areas of the property: Homestead Selection – the lower camping area with open space suitable for caravans, camper trailers and tents. Dingo Hill – a more elevated and remote camping area offering expansive views and a true off-grid bush camping experience. GoGo is designed as a quiet nature retreat, perfect for couples and travellers looking to slow down, unplug and enjoy the peace of the Scenic Rim. Despite feeling a world away, the property is conveniently located close to some of the region’s best destinations: • Kalbar & Aratula – 10 minutes • Boonah – 15 minutes • Moogerah Dam – 15 minutes • Wyaralong Dam – 25 minutes • Brisbane – approx 1 hour 15 minutes • Gold Coast – approx 1 hour 20 minutes • Cunningham Highway – 5 minutes Access to the property is via a 1km gravel road off Moogerah Road, with approximately 4km of internal bush tracks throughout the property. Located near the lower part of the property, Homestead Selection provides easy access and a relaxed bush camping atmosphere surrounded by open paddocks, wildlife front dam and beautiful views. This area is suitable for self-contained caravans, camper trailers and tents. We stayed on the homestead site right on the dam. Ron thought that was a good site for us and the kids and we couldn’t keep them out of the dam which was great. Ron was a great host and came around multiple times to have a chat and make sure we were all ok. Toilet was very clean too. But the view was what sells this place. Very quiet and many spots to pick from. Can tell Ron has put in years of hard work to get it where it is, every site is level and great for vans or tents. Not much shade around so bring your own gazebo. We will be back!

Enjoyed staying at Dingo site over the October long weekend. Loved having an elevated campsite with views to enjoy by the fire. Plenty of room as other groups were spread out on other sites. Ron was a great host

Ronnie is a great host and the campsite is spot on. Honestly, I couldn’t fault it. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of space between campers, while still being very well maintained. Having clean toilets and showers available is a huge bonus too. It’s the perfect combination of wilderness and civilisation, peaceful enough to properly switch off, but with just enough comfort to make the stay easy and enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dingo Hill with Gogó Camping! From the moment we arrived, everything was amazing. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. Ron and his wife were absolutely fantastic — incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel at home and really went above and beyond to make our stay special. We had a great time at Ron's place. Ron escorted us to a site and we asked to move somewhere else. He has very accommodating. Ron loves a yarn and has a lot of good material! We used the property as a base heading to Mt Marron and Mt French.

Dingo Hill is a must see if you are heading through the region. Some of the best views in the scenic rim. Gogo is a perfect place to set up a base camp for a few nights if you want to explore some of the near by parks, trails and towns. My girlfriend and I unfortunately only had a chance to stay for one night, but Ron was a fantasic host, very welcoming and keen for a chat. We will absolutely be back! If you can manage to line it up on a clear night with a late moon rise, the view of the stars will not dissapoint!

Amazing views all around! Very well kept property with mowed grass campsites and the best dirt roads I have ever seen. The roads are better condition than most bitumen roads. Ron is a lovely and friendly host. Clean porta loos on site. So happy to have found the is place, can’t wait for a return trip.

This was our first time going camping with just the two of us as a couple! 🏕️❤️ While searching on Google and Facebook for a nice camping spot near Brisbane, we were so lucky to discover Gogo Camping in Charlwood, only about an hour's drive from us. We honestly didn’t expect the place to be this beautiful! The scenery is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the mountains. 🌿⛰️ It’s a private property with a $32 entrance fee, but it’s definitely worth it because the place is so peaceful and relaxing—it’s the perfect place to unwind and refresh. A special thank you to our host, Ron, who was incredibly kind and accommodating! So, if you're looking for a quiet camping spot where you can enjoy some quality time with your loved one and take in beautiful views, we highly recommend Gogo Camping. You definitely won’t regret it, and we’re sure we’ll be coming back again soon! 🏕️✨❤️

Loved camping here with the kids and our dog. Lots of space, amenities clean. We stayed at Dingo Hill site. Ron was a lovely host. The views at night with the stars were amazing! Stopped by in Boonah on the way home. Lots to do in the area. Will be back!

Beautiful spot with stunning stargazing and great views. We even spotted a small kangaroo nearby, which was a lovely surprise. Very comfortable stay with plenty of site options to choose from. Ron was a fantastic host — friendly and went out of his way to help us find the perfect location for our site.
