Beautiful place to stay, love the free roaming goats, wallabies, cows, sheep and emus.
The river is full of tabbies and little shrimp and fish and lots of safe areas to let your kids go fishing. Water is deep enough to swim in, we even managed to get our kayaks in the water tho got stuck on rock in a few places.

Amazing spot, highly recommend. Nice big open area next the the flowing creek.
Very clean toilet was an added bonus.

What an amazing spot to camp! We were very fortunate to be here when the creek was in good flow and it was lovely and green around. I would 100% camp here again in a heartbeat! We saw so much wildlife and logged at least 20 bird species just watching from the camp. Super easy to get in and out, lovely short walks along the creek and up the hill. Heaps of timber around that’s easy to get to for campfires. So peaceful and private and it sure helped to have the separate loo handy too.

Spring being snake season, please be aware there was a couple of snakes near the camp, which is perfectly normal, but watch out for dogs/young kids.
This is our first time out of many seeing some! (which was kinda cool!)

This was our second wonderful visit to Glenelg Station. The 2 Mile camp site is very peaceful and secluded. The wel-maintained camping area is huge with several possible tent/caravan sites. Some are shady and all have great views and direct access to the brook. Amanda is a responsive, friendly host and she shares lots of interesting info about the property. So rare to find a beautiful camping area where you can feel totally alone (apart from the cows, sheep, goats, wallabies, kangaroos, birds and frogs that is). It is a great spot to de-stress sitting around a campfire, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of the bush. We checked out the cottages as well while we were there. They are all well appointed in rustic style complete with claw-foot bath on the verandahs. All are beautifully positioned with views over the brook. Thank you so much Amanda for another relaxing short break. Our dog enjoyed the get away just as much as we did!

We stayed at 2 Mile for 3 nights and absolutely loved the experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, off-the-grid spot surrounded by nature, this place is a gem. The campsite was clean, quiet, and beautifully tucked away – perfect for unwinding and disconnecting.
The area had plenty of space to set up comfortably, and we felt completely immersed in nature the whole time. Waking up to the sound of birds and the fresh air each morning was a real highlight. Nights were just as special – the stars out there are incredible with no light pollution.
Whether you’re camping solo, with friends, or just looking for a reset, 2 Mile offers a great mix of simplicity and natural beauty. I’m already planning my next trip back.

The Drover was simply amazing to get away to, we were only there for a night it certainly wasn’t enough to stay and enjoy it as much as we would have liked. But our one night was nothing short of perfect, Amanda has done an absolutely fantastic job at creating the perfect feel and vibe of their beautiful land. It was our dream little cabin we aspire to build one day for ourselves. Thank you Amanda we will definitely be back 😁

2 Mile Campsite was a fantastic spot for setting up our tent. Very private with beautiful scenery. Big fire pit was perfect for cooking. We loved our stay and would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

This was our third stay at 2 Mile & we already can’t wait to return! It’s the perfect spot to just ‘be’, there’s plenty of wildlife, beautiful sunsets/sunrises, abundant bird life & magnificent star gazing. Amanda is the loveliest host, we highly recommend this beautiful spot.

This was our second stay at 2 Mile & we loved it! It’s a really special piece of land, highly recommend a stay here. There’s lots of wild goats (& adorable babies), emu’s & wallabies, we can’t wait to return again soon.

Lovely relaxing spot. Grass was nicely mowed and portaloo was clean. Easy collection of firewood. Plenty of birdlife and goats to watch, an emu also came wandering by a few times.

Setting up your swag along the flowing creek, watching the satellites fly over at night, the breeze through the trees. All this and more awaits you at Glenelg station.
The 2 1/2 mile campsite if clear and open covered in grass and only a short walk away from a spot you can cross and explore the creek.
Plenty of fallen wood to collect and the porta-loo is a welcome addition (just make sure you bring some toilet paper)
Will be back to stay in the cabin !

I loved camping at 2 Mile campsite! Amanda’s instructions were very clear with very easy access. Having the porta loo was a massive bonus. Being able to take my dog and have him off leash was great and he had an awesome time swimming in the creek. If you want complete relaxation and an off grid escape this definitely ticks all the boxes and you have complete privacy. We will definitely be back!

I loved my two night stay at 2 Mile Campsite! I had the whole campsite to myself and my dog. It was right next to the creek, where we enjoyed going for walks up and down plus a few swims! Spotted emu's, kangaroos and plenty of goats. It was so nice and quiet and saw no one else the entire time I was there. It was great meeting Amanda at the start. The toilet was clean, and the campsite was well maintained. A full moon and a fire at night made the whole experience.
Thank you Amanda for sharing your wonderful part of the world...I hope to be back, with others!

Absolutely stunning cabin. Has it all and Amanda has gone above and beyond with the build and fit out has so many nice touches. Beautiful creek, firepit area and little kitchen inside. We will definitely be back for a winter cabin experience

Loved camping here! Beautiful spot and the hosts came down to check in and were very friendly and accomodating. Loo is very clean and some very friendly cows strolled through. excellent spot for privacy and perfect for star photography! Will be back for sure!
