Nestled on 20 secluded acres in Royston, QLD, this stunning property is just 15 minutes from Woodford, Kilcoy, and Westvale Boat Ramp opposite the main Somerset Dam Boat Ramp and easily accessed from the D’Aguilar Highway with two entrances. Boasting breathtaking views of Bellthorpe National Park, it’s an ideal spot to relax and unwind. A seasonal creek runs through the lower part of the land where the campsites are located, creating a peaceful, picturesque setting. Most of the time, the small dugout swimming hole is filled with fresh running creek water. just ask when making your enquiry or booking or reach out anytime with questions. Each campsite includes its own firepit, with firewood available for purchase om site. The property also features man-made island connected by a bridge and surrounded by a beautiful freshwater creek, complete with a shelter, pizza oven, fire pit, music, and power and kids swing set. Perfect camping site for birthdays, group getaways, or a weekend escape with friends and family. Everything here has been lovingly handcrafted by the property owner's, adding charm and character. With abundant wildlife like deer, kangaroos, and koalas, plus yabbie pots for catching red-claw in the creek, this is the ultimate quiet getaway. Our 7 grassed sites are around 180square foot and located on a seasonal creek. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities and power supply for thier site and take all waste with them on departure.

Scrubby Creek Campsite
We had a fantastic stay at this campground! It was so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. We really appreciated that it was pet friendly, so our dog could come along too. The campground was great for kids, with plenty of space for them to play and explore safely. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this campground and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. The adults relaxed and the kids were entertained on the big swing set. We all enjoyed exploring the creek bed and checking for yabbies in the waterhole. Easy access to camp, friendly hosts and a great place to stay!

This was a lovely, peaceful spot! The camp kitchen was really fun and unique to explore, with lovely details throughout, and the kids playground gave us hours of peace while the kids played! Our favourite was the beautiful sky of stars in the evening under a fire, stunning!

The place was easy to access. Beautiful look & feel as soon as we drove in. Neat, tidy, peaceful. Great firepits set up, and the swings area for children/children at heart. Loved the island covered area. Will definitely visit again Hosts Sam & Mick lovely.

What a beautiful space to camp! Easy access. Large, grassy sites. The owners are so welcoming, easygoing and helpful. A great set up for children of all ages. As a group of women camping alone with kids, we felt safe and relaxed. Perfect location for a group of campers also.

Great spot. Samantha and Mick were lovely. They put yabbie traps in for the kids and even set up a fire at our site for when we arrived at night. The scenery was lovely. The creek, bikes and swing set were perfect for the boys. Will definitely be back.

Lovely spot!

Great little spot near Kilcoy. Nice clean level grassed sites next to a creek. Easy access and lovely welcoming hosts. No issues with access to park or sites. Heaps of space, fire pit on each site and a great afternoon view with a cold one. What more could you ask. We will be regulars. Thanks Sam and Mick!

This spot is amazing!! The sites are just the right size, also good for bigger groups as there is a communal area for everyone to chill out at. We went over the Easter weekend, Samantha and her hubby were amazing hosts. We organised a easter egg hunt for our little one and they offered to help out and bring down treats. Currently planning our next trip out.
