Beautiful, well kept property. Friendly hosts who were very accomodating. We especially enjoyed patting the very friendly cows across from our campsite

Amenities were clean, water was hot, hosts friendly and accommodating. I use the Telstra network and had no phone reception. There were a few messages getting through but I was unable to contact anyone. I try to avoid this as a solo traveller but if you were in a group or with your family I imagine it would be a welcomed tech break!

We camped in our caravan for 2 nights. Awesome campsites available with fire pits already there. Amenities were great and very clean. David was very friendly and incredibly responsive to campers needs. We will definitely be back!!

Our two night stay on David’s property was lovely. It was a very peaceful place to stay for the weekend. The kids enjoyed the creek. The amenities were clean. Will be back

We were in the area for a paragliding weekend. We didn't spend much time there as we were up super early and exploring and paragliding.
The camping was super close to the site. Beautiful area, super clean showers and toilets and easy to come and go.

Don’t recommend - false advertising

False advertising. Not like the photos, cramped campsites right next to eachother approx 6by 6metres wide. Ended up leaving after we got there, they tell you to call when you arrive but there’s no reception so you need to back track 4km back to call them. $40PP per night.
We left and went to camp nearby in a frett to find something before dark

We enjoyed our stay here, but because of our van size (9m) there were very limited spots. The place was peaceful, the toilet and shower block were clean and tidy. The lovely people looking after the place while the owners were away, were very lovely and welcoming!

Had a great stay here. Tent camping with a dog and got one of the sites near the creek. We were welcomed on arrival and shown the area, the hosts were lovely. There was a road nearby but had maybe 10 cars come past over the weekend we were there. Good timing with the creek flowing and a perfect soundscape. We were really happy with our little stay.

overall great experience. 2wd access, beautiful location, camp fires allowed, pets allowed, loads of camp spots close together so would be awesome if you had a big group doing multiple pitching/rigs. fortunately we were the only ones there but could see this being really busy. creek is really nice and if we were there in summer would definitely have jumped in. we stayed on the creek side which is better for more of a green grass right on the creek experience. you are however right on the road, but this is fine as it’s an extremely quiet place.

We were there Sun-Tuesday & it was lovely & quiet, great amenities block that was really clean with friendly care takers. We were looking for a spot for our senior dog to swim, nature isn’t perfect & it was a little rocky for her. The water was slow moving but if it had rained more before our visit the duck weed/moss would have been flushed out of the creek. But hey that’s out of the hosts hands, and we really enjoyed our stay!!. Suggestion: the hosts could consider a sensor light on the outside of the amenities block to light the pathway. Thanks

Outdated photos with lots of overgrowth/recycled building supplies with tidy but small sites with trees overhead, not suitable for large caravans or buses to drive through.
Additional waiver to sign on arrival & list of rules provided.
Firewood is half bags $20
Care takers were kind and friendly.

We loved our time at the campground. Sites were well spaced and we were lucky enough to have one on the hillside with beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. The week leading into our trip had been quite a bit of rain and we were worried it was going to be very wet, but the site was well grassed and no gumboots required. Great hot showers and toilets made it easier for some members of our family. A great place to unwind, wish we had longer time there.

We were here for two nights over a long weekend (Labour Day), good and clean toilets and showers, pretty busy with bigger groups because of the holiday. Close enough to Canungra and Tamborine mt. The hosts are great, thank you.

The site is well maintained, when we arrived there, the host, David and Julia are very friendly and helpful, very happy with the toilet as it’s always cleaned, and they provide hot water for the shower, a quiet and beautiful environment, but not too far away from the city area, easy to get there. We’re tent camping, it took some times to set up the tent as the ground is a bit hard, but overall, love the camp site, will definitely go there again and recommend to friends.

Great weekend camp spot. Just a bit expensive for a site on a creek with no water. Firewood bags small. Had to buy a second bag which was not delivered and never got my change of $10. Not a biggy. I don’t sweat ten bucks but just thought it was a bit rude.

Only 45 mins from the Gold Coast, less than 15 mins from Canungra. Great location, and very impressive bathroom and shower block. Stayed just the one night and was enjoyable to have a camp fire.

Quite compact campsites and everyone brought their dog so they had to be on leash. Owner said his resident would kill any pet dog that may be loose as that is what he is trained to do (kill dingos).
So if you want to go camping with your dog off leash, this is not the place. Also creek is dry atm.
Other then that , it is a pleasant spot close to GC
