I absolutely loved the Valley Views campsite and it was such a peaceful location. Had the cows and new calves visit me one morning which was extra special. Laura and Neil were very friendly and took me up to the campsite. Unfortunately there were a lot of thunderstorms around each night so left a day earlier than anticipated but intend on coming back when the weather has settled.

We loved our stay at Valley View it is an amazing camp, The view is incredible and the cows are great to sit and watch. Laura and Neil were great hosts and very helpful hope to return soon.

Valley view site was nice and flat with some beautiful big trees and plenty of open space and privacy. Views from the top were great also looking down on the valley, Laura and Niel were super accommodating very friendly and happy to help guide us through to camp despite a late arrival in the dark! Great big fire pit too. Thanks Laura & Niel!

It doesn’t get any better than Laura and Neil’s, just feels like home away from home. Loved our time at Empty Pockets Farm in all the various sites available.
Afternoon walks around the lower paddocks and soaking up the winters sun in the morning by the fire with a coffee is what camping is all about. This property offers picture perfect private and quiet camping. (7th visit for me, so I’m pretty confident if you’re reading this review you’d love it too)

Beautiful location. We were upgraded to Valley Views (thank you) and the site was just stunning. Able to witness fabulous sunrises and sunsets. Large flat area with two large trees in the centre and has a firepit. Surrounded by a couple of copses of trees. Very private. It was just us on this trip but suitable for a larger group. Laura's communication is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay.

Had an amazing time with the boys was freezing but the hosts were amazing gave us fire wood and a tarp for my mates tent views were great land was great you basically have the entire plot to yourself and get some cows as neighbours 10/10 would recommend

Great hosts - met us at the gate and suggested a different site on their property based on the weather. And the alternative site was beautiful. Reflections off the billabong, curious cows wandering through, very peaceful. Loved it.

Fantastic site. Well kept with a nice fire pit overlooking the valley below. Good walking tracks, plenty of space between sites. Hosts were great communicators and easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay.

Oakford's Place
Had a great weekend at Empty Pockets. Laura & Neil are awesome hosts.
We camped at Oakford's place after recommendation from Laura for the size of our crew. The site was perfect for us (5 vehicles & a camper trailer).
I think 2 other camp sites were booked on the same weekend, but apart from only just being able to see a caravan up on the hill through the trees when driving to our site, we didn't see or hear another soul, definitely our kind of camping. Will be back for sure and take some more time to check out the rest of the property. Tiny bit of highway noise at night when it was quiet, but the rest of our crew said they couldn't hear it over my snoring anyway lol.

From the moment we booked, Laura and Neil had excellent communication with us, and met us as we came in the gate to lead us to our campsite at Valley Views
Absolutely Superb site, large flat well maintained area with its own firepit on top of a hill, all to ourselves!!
The views were fantastic in every direction and the stars in the night sky even better!!!
Couldn’t ask for better hosts then Laura and Neil, and think we have found our new favourite spot
Neil, we will be back to check out your creek side spot, and show those Dodgy Rams how it’s done 😂

We loved the serenity and peaceful surroundings camping on Laura and Neil's property. Both Laura and Neil were wonderfully approachable and accommodating. We'll most definitely return. Access certainly required off-road van and 4wd vehicle making the stop that but more adventurous. The dogs had a wonderful time playing in the flooded creek and running up and down the hills in and around our camp. There was plenty of timber to keep a slow fire burning which doubled as a repellent to the mossies and other insects. Highly recommended!

A fab, quiet spot - Valley Views is just lovely, and we'll definitely be back. Neil met us on arrival and made sure we got up to the site without any trouble. Even though the ground was wet and we don't have 4WD, we made it, and well worth the effort! Just one night for us, a quick get-away from the Sunshine Coast. Weather a bit dodgy, so we couldn't use the firewood Neil had ready for us on arrival, but we did use it the following morning, as it was a bit chilly. Very good firewood! We hope to bring friends back next time.

Valley Views was a pretty, peaceful site with lovely pastoral views and a cool breeze. Neil and Laura were very helpful especially when a storm came through and he relocated us to a more sheltered spot. We would certainly return.

Stayed two nights at ‘Valley Views’ site within Empty Pockets farm. Great views over the valley below. Large flat area with plenty of sun or shade to choose from. Large firepit at site and firewood able to be purchased or loose sticks/logs allowed to be collected. Easy check in and shown to site by owner, Neil, who was very helpful and informative. Caution re ticks and snakes. Kids loved the cattle and horses roaming around our van and cooking marshmallows on firepit. 10/10

Hobbsy's Gully
We loved camping at Hobbsy’s Gully. Neil and Laura was so welcoming. The camp spot was lovely and flat with plenty of room for our three vehicles and three set ups as well as room to play sport and games. We could have a fire by the lovely dam and even had a swim in the dam as it was very hot. we were allowed to gather firewood and we even had lots of visits from the local cattle. They were very cute. Thank you Laura and Neil
