Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

Sites 1 to 4 are located down on the creek which needs 4WD access to get to. You can however park a normal car at the top of the property and walk down to the camping area. The creek area has a picnic table that seats 10 people, and a nearby toilet block with 2 compost toilets and a water tank. There is also a fire pit set up in this area. A small bundle of firewood is provided for you. If you anticipate you will need more firewood, please purchase via Extras when booking. We accept tent and camper trailers, but no caravans or motorhomes. Please note that in periods of heavy rain, access to the creek sites may become muddy and difficult. If this occurs during your stay, we’ll provide an alternative camping area on the property that’s equally lovely, just set a little further back from the creek.

The Ridge site has breathtaking views of our property and views out to the Sunshine Coast. Located at the top of the hill this site is secluded from the creek sites and is short walk to the toilet block. There is a fire pit set up in this area with firewood. A small bundle of firewood is provided for you. If you anticipate you will need more firewood, please purchase via Extras when booking. This site is suitable for tent and camper trailers only - no caravans. Campers must have a 4WD.

This place was great. The views at the top are amazing and the camping area by the creek was very lovely. We could hear running water all day and night. The kids enjoyed climbing the rocks and splashing around.

Tony was super accomodating and showed us the track to the creekside camp sites. Unfortunately storms just before arrival and road tyres on the shark 6 meant I wasn’t confident to get back up the track. Tony allowed us to camp up the top with splendid views. Highly recommend.

My friends and I loved staying at this camp site. It was very aesthetic and had a lot of space for us (7 people) to spread out. Tony was very accommodating and welcoming in all ways you can think of. This campsite for us is a 10/10

Sensational site with a fantastic host. We stayed down at the bottom of the property near the creek and had a really nice time. There was some complementary firewood and plenty of privacy. Tony met us at the gate and even took some of our group and gear down in the Polaris. We’ll be sure to come back here in the future to try the hilltop sites. Note: 4wd definitely required

Felt extremely welcomed by Tony who greeted us on arrival and escorted us to our site. The site itself was beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a site closest to the water, falling asleep to the sound of flowing water was lovely. The weather turned quickly on our day of departure and the track became tricky but Tony was amazing and gave us a hand. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

We unfortunately couldn’t make it out there and had to reschedule as there was a nasty storm however Tony was still absolutely incredible, we spoke everyday leading up to the weekend we planned on being there to see how the weather was going he was incredibly accommodating we can not wait to actually get there!

We had a great stay at Coorie Vale - lovely spot by the creek and beautiful surrounds. Tony had excellent communication and was very accommodating, would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful camp site. Tony drove us down to the site and picked us up and let me drive his little 4x4 buggy (forgot the name lol) Very hospitable and great place for the weekend. Lots of bugs obviously being next to the creek/water but wasn’t much of a problem. Toilets and fireplace so perfect.

Tony runs a really lovely hipcamp on his cattle property only an hour from Brisbane which is a bonus. We had a great time camping next to the creek. There are 3 other spots but they are all a good distance apart so you had your own space. Toilet facilities are clean and well maintained. Thanks for an awesome stay Tony!

We absolutely loved our long weekend here! The creek was amazing to explore, we could have spent hours finding all the little waterfalls and Tony was such a lovely and accommodating host. The baby cows were adorable, and feeding the horses with the carrots Tony kindly gave us was a real highlight. We’re already telling our friends about this place and can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful spot so peaceful sitting by the creek. Tony is an excellent host always checking in.🤗 there is a lovely swimming hole n waterfall as well. We will definitely by back ( we might try the ridge spot next time)

Tony is an exceptional host. He regularly checked the camp sites to make sure everything was ok. The sites were well maintained. The creek was lovely and it was gorgeous to go to to sleep to the sound of running water. Toilet facilities well maintained and a great facility. Thanks Tony.

Such a lovely place to camp – right on the creek with plenty of space between sites, so it still feels private even with a few other campers around. Only a short drive from Brisbane, but it feels like a proper getaway. Tony was fantastic – really friendly and easy to deal with, and we loved his daily check-ins with his dog Ralph. The toilets were clean and well kept – a bit of a hike up the hill, but it doubles as your daily exercise! Would definitely come back for another weekend.

Seriously, what a gem! The views were incredible, the host was fantastic, and the amenities were excellent. We had everything we needed for a perfect, comfy getaway. Highly recommend this spot 🍻
