Coominya Farm Stay

Had a relaxing few nights stay with my dogs at Coominya Farm Stay. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the dam and host Lynn was lovely to communicate with and even nicer in person. The amenities were spotless. Although I didn’t need to use the camp kitchen, it was a large, well thought out space and very clean. Overall a great value Hipcamp with the access to hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen all included.

My family enjoyed the property. The site was clean, toilets were serviced and the kitchen was well equipped. We were also far enough from the other campers which made it feel more private.

Mixed feelings Signage upon arrival to find our designated site doesn’t exist then after a phone call found out that another camper was across the front of our site. There are five toilets and two showers however two of the toilets were out of action while we were there but the other three were maintained in good condition. The showers with hot water great however extremely hard to regulate but great to have a shower. If the sites are all full could be a little overloading on the toilet and showers so own set up would be a benefit. Dam site 1 and 2 is beside the road so sometimes loud fast traffic would wake you up. Great location near the Brisbane Valley rail Trail so great if you’ve got your bikes. If over that way again would stay again as aware of set up now.

Super quiet and spacious campsite even during school holidays. Handy having the kitchen facilities with fridge,along with toilet and showers. Our boys loved having a campfire too.

Great place, lots of place. We had a powered site and it was perfect. Lots of space for the kids to run around. We didn't see koalas: the kids enjoyed the horses on the property. The camp kitchen was great and well equiped! Very clean toilets and showers!

Quiet relaxing stay

The quiet open paddocks were just what I needed as a little getaway with my pup. Afternoons were just beautiful with the sun setting behind the big gums, the open skies full of stars and it all came with power, water, toilets, hot showers and a camp kitchen with enough room for a couple of families to sit around the table. Lots of birdsong, shady spots under the trees and generally very peaceful (I was there Sat-Tues). Lynn is such a lovely down to earth person who checks in to see that everything is okay and being a single woman I really appreciate that.

We had a great time camping on Lynn’s land. She was a fantastic friendly host and her facilities were ideal for a weekend stay. There were toilets, hot showers, a kitchen, a playground and a little soccer field. There was also plenty of grass space for more outdoor games and activities you decide to bring. We also got to know her two horses that were not shy of our super curious kids.

Wonderful spot. A lot of flat ground it would be perfect for children’s bike. The camp kitchen was really well set up - kettle, toaster, fridge and huge dining room table. Portaloos were very well maintained. The host was lovely.

The site wasn’t what was reflected in the photo - pitch your tent by the dam in a tranquil relaxing spot. Instead it was quite close to the road, cars and trucks infrequently going past (both day & night). Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected and if we go back to this property in the future, we at least know to book an unpowered site well away from the road.

Second time camping here and it was just as good as the first. It was perfectly peaceful and we were camped just far away from other campers it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Will absolutely camp here again in the future.

Camping in a paddock!

Off grid quiet grassy site.

Loved camping here this past weekend. Great camp kitchen, There are toilets & showers too! There’s lots of space so you don’t feel like others are camping right on top of you. Lynn is a great host. We’ll be back!

Lynn has plenty of room for off grid camping. Separate part for anyone needing power. She also makes you feel welcome. Brings fire wood around for you. We spend two days.

Great spot with plenty of room for 3 campers over 2 sites near the dam. We had both power and water on sites. Plenty of porta loo's for the whole camp ground. Town was a ten minute walk away with all the basic supplies at the supermarket and a pub.

Great family weekend get away

Nice and close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a quick get away. The property was so clean and tidy, toilets great and clean. Loads of space to feel relaxed. The kids had a wonderful time riding their bikes around the property and visit the horses. Highly recommend

great location as towns like Esk, Fernvale, lowood and Gatton are all within 30mins drive - There are 3 designated camping areas, lots of space between campers - all the campers were well behaved there are toilets (very clean) shower and a kitchen facility dogs are allowed Lynn was so nice and very accomodating

We had a wonderful 8 nights. Hot showers, clean toilets and a camp kitchen (though we didn't use it). Lynn is a wonderful host, checking in on us and working tirelessly to ensure the grounds are kept beautifully. Flat camp-site for our tent getaway, heaps of room so out closest neighbour was at least 100m away at all times. 5min drive to coffee shop, pub and spar. Thanks Lynn we'll definitely be back.
