Fantastic facilities and quiet location. Really didnt feel like we were in someones backyard. Fires allowed in their pit, dogs allowed, toys/space for the kids own toilet and camp kitchen...beats being crammed into a caravan park hands down. Highly recommend.

This was such a peaceful camp spot, great setup with everything we needed, comfortable, great bathroom facility and kitchen area, lovely! Will definitely recommend.

The space is thoughtfully set up with almost everything you need. It was great to have an undercover area when it started to rain al little bit.
Enjoyed a having a bath, was a luxurious was to camp! My dog Bentley has a ball chasing his Ballina in the large yard.

Fully functional kitchen space and bathroom in a private and quiet area. Everything you need is provided, just bring your tent and sleeping gear. It was all clean and tidy, grass mowed and land flat.

sensational Hipcamp experience! Huge amount of space and literally everything you need… Cooking, fridge, water, beautiful shower/toilet/bath. Great location for exploring rainbow beach and doing some dolphin feeding. The entire experience was smooth as. Gorgeous birdlife in the backyard as well. Friendly and efficient hosts. Having the entire place to yourself? This is a no brainer!

A very safe environment with all the comforts from home; gas cooking, huge fridge, brilliant rest room(bath to die for), although not used this trip!

The most amazing stay! Amenities are 10/10- there was nothing mark didn’t think of- it was the best stay of our east coast trip; we felt very safe here. The place was clean and very well lit we can’t thank mark enough for having us. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend Mark's place, if you are stopping over before going to Fraser or going for a long weekend. The block is perfect for a couple, family or small group. Mark has everything you need, all you have to do is bring a tent.
The fridge will keep all your drinks that you will need for the weekend. Mark was Friendly showed us everything we needed to know and he left us to it.
Thanks Mark, hopefully will be back soon.

Marks place was so wonderful. The shower pressure was prime, large fridge and under cover cooking area. Close to shops if needed. Plenty of bird life around.

Really enjoyed our stay up at Cooloola. Mark and his partner provided everything that you could need, basically don’t even have to unpack. Super quiet spot, just bring some gum boots if it’s been raining. Big plus for bbq and the big fridge!

We loved the camping on Marks property, great for 3 x 4wds and 2 tents, flat grassy area, we loved the hot shower and toilet facilities and the undercover shed with all the extras chairs, kids toys, bbq, fridge, kettle, large table for eating and sink to
wash up, crockery and cutlery as well, fire was great on the cold night, great location to stay before going to Fraser Island, thanks Mark for your hospitality

A fabulous base for Cooloola Coast adventures. Close to Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach and Inskip. A fabulous bathroom and kitchen set-up so a great spot for beginner campers.

Really easy to find and drive onto the grassy site, and we had a lovely welcome from Mark when we arrived. He also provided great pointers for dog friendly cafes in Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach - both very close to Cooloola Cove. The mature trees provided wonderful places for all the many birds to rest and feed (everything was flowering when we were there), and the morning chorus was stunning and noisy! We loved watching them squabble and chase.
The bathroom was exactly as pictured on the Hipcamp site, lovely to have it all to ourselves. Lots of hot water.
Mark recommended gumboots after all the rain they've had over the last couple of months - and that was a good tip! There are some very squidgy bits of ground in some places, but we popped our tent up in a lovely flat dry spot near the great outdoor kitchen and bar. There were even lots of outdoor games available.

Perfect stop before/after visiting K'gari! Every amenity you can think of, including a wonderful hot bath. Mark was super friendly, and though the spot is quite close to the house, he made it feel super quiet. Large undercover area made it perfect for organising/repacking in the rain.

We stopped here the night before going to Fraser Island and it was great decision. Mark welcomed us and made us feel like home, he also explained everything and helped when we needed, wish we could stay longer to enjoy. Highly recommend

Amazing undercover area with BBQ, fridge, sink, games, chairs, bar & large table all to ourselves. Amazing bathroom with loo, shower & a beautiful claw bath. Huge area to choose from to pitch our tents.

Ourselves and our trio of dogs enjoyed our time here. Short drive to Tin Can Bay and the attractions around Rainbow Beach. A lovely morning walk through a shady bush track (unsealed/surfaced road), up to the Campbell's Bakehouse to sample their award winning pies, including the Breakfast Pie (yum) and coffee. Very quiet at night and nice to stargaze at night. And the facilities provided are fabulous.

The campsite really has all you need. Just bring your tent and food. Fridge, utensils, plates and pots, kettle, microwave, camp chairs, BBQ and even toys for the kids. The bathroom is big and clean, perfect for anyone with kids because of the bathtub. There's plenty of space to run around during the day and open sky for star gazing at night. Plenty of shade in the morning and afternoon. If you're visiting in summer bring along a fan to use in the shelter during lunchtime, just to get the air moving in there. Close to woolies and bottle shop. Perfect midway stop between Tin Can and Rainbow. And it's private, no one else around and the host left us to ourselves.

The camp grounds are lovely and clean, great amenities and facilities. Good location and nice and quiet. Lots of great wildlife around (birds) loved the touches of having kids toys available and everything you need.

We loved everything about Mark's garden. It was nice and quiet and we had the whole garden for ourselves. The facilities were great - really nice and clean bathroom and great cooking facilities. Really a 10/10 experience!
