We are a working cattle property with extensive permaculture inspired production gardens. Our goals are towards regenerating the land and being as self sufficient and organic in production as possible. We encourage you leave lasting marks on the farm by being apart of our regeneration, self sufficient projects, we provide the first hand experiences to our farming lifestyle and volunteer our knowledge to encourage everyone to do their part to a more sustainable future. Situated 15 minutes from the North Queensland town of Tully, on record as being the wettest places in Queensland. We also encourage you to explore our 350 acres of bushland, rainforest and open grasslands or used us as a base to explore the surrounding environment including the stunning Tully Gorge National Park or the beautiful Mission Beach and Dunk Island or just chill out and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding farmland. Our campsites have near 300-degree views of the surrounding Tully Valley, down private gullies or open grasslands. Other options in the area include sky diving, white water rafting, bush or coastal walking, swimming in pristine fresh or saltwater or star gazing this region has it all. Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times. We have a passion for the environment, agriculture and reducing the amount of waste created by humans, we try to reuse and repurposing as much of our own and others waste as possible. Suitable for fully self-contained units including caravans. Valley Views looks out over the Tully Valley taking in banana, cane and cattle farms as well as the surrounding mountain range. Perfect for taking in the surrounding area or star gazing at night. This site can fit 3 caravans if travelling together. You can explore the farm or an easily accessible site to explore the area.  *Unfortunately shade is not available at this site.  A 4WD is required to enter the property but 4WD caravan is not necessary for this site. We are fully off-grid, so you will need to be fully self-contained, a dump point and laundry mat is available in Tully if required.  Campfires permitted. Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times. Placed over looking the dam a large grassed sites suitable for camp trailers, roof top tents or swags.   Plenty of wildlife frequent the dam stocked with Jade perch and Barra.  You and your traveling companions will be the only one in this area.  From there you can find plenty of walking tracks and spring fed streams.   We are fully off-grid, so you will need to be fully self-contained, an IGA, dump point and laundry mat is available in Tully if required.  Campfires permitted. Access is via a steep hill arrival during day light hours only with a 4WD.

This spot was picked out by one of our past visitors and possibly the pick of the bunch.  Wake up to both mountain and island views. Situated in the heart of the property this site has views to Hinchinbrook & Gould Islands to the south east and the surrounding mountain ranges and farm land.You are within walking distance to the dam to swim the dogs or explore the rest oh the property. We are fully off-grid, so you will need to be fully self-contained, an IGA, dump point and laundry mat is available in Tully if required.  Campfires permitted. Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times. Access to this spot is via a steep sometimes slippery hill, 4wd are a definite in this spot.

Absolutely stunning place! The camping spot is about 800m from the homestead so there is total privacy, has 360 degree views, cows and horses wondering around, a dam below, vast grassy areas, forest...... Welcoming and friendly hosts, Katie delivered fresh hot bread, eggs and firewood that we added to our booking to our site. Great location to explore the region.

What a beautiful slice of paradise! We were up on the hill with a dam at the bottom. It was amazing. Such a lush site with panoramic views. Kids and dogs loved it. Good communication and flexibility from host with wet weather conditions. Defs need a 4wd for access.

What a most amazing area to stop and relax. The area by the dam was secluded and picturesque. Katie was wonderfully welcoming. We could have easily stayed longer in this serene spot. Directions for our arrival were clear. We couldn't (and neither did the weather bureau) account for the poor weather that would befall us. We were so fortunate that Katie was able to come to our rescue and assist our recovery from half way up the hill. What an amazing adventure! It was a truly memorable end to a gorgeous weekend (memorable for Katie too I'd reckon.) And absolutely yes we will love to go back. Thanks Katie! You should be in a Marvel sequel!

Peaceful Escape with Stunning Views

We had such a wonderful stay at Dingo Pocket. The property is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of space to unwind. It’s the perfect spot to switch off, enjoy nature, and soak up the tranquility. Watching the cows wander through the paddocks and stop by for a friendly hello was such a relaxing highlight. We also loved our walk down to the dam—since there were no other campers, it felt like our own private adventure. The climb back up rewarded us with breathtaking views from the top of the hills where our camp was set. We’ll definitely be back again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was amazing, the horses and cows were friendly. The only downfall was the owners 8 dogs barking at happy hour because they were wanting to be fed. It really destroyed the peaceful day we were having.

Spent 2 amazing nights at Clearview (ended up at Island View) after Katie provided the option! Probably the best Hipcamp we have ever experienced. Beautiful green rolling hills and views to die for, coupled with visits from cows and horses and what’s not to love! Do yourself a favour and book - now!

Last minute booking as travelling through the area, what a brilliant find! Cooking dinner alongside the grazing horses was brilliant, the stars were breathtaking on top of the hill, fairly flat land for our rooftop tent. The morning sunrise was phenomenal too! Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The site was wonderful with a flat spot to park with our slide-on & 4wd Ranger. Beautiful birds were landing around the dam. We felt relaxed and secluded with loads of space for our dog to run around.

We arrived at dark in the middle of feeding time, a beautiful acknowledgement to the tone that it is a live farm! We were repositioned to the Island Camping (due to some fence works needed) spot which we thought we had awoken on heavens meadows themselves the next morning. The rolling green fields with misty mountains 360 views all around. A perfect picture in every direction. I had ordered the eggs and the sourdough and due to the nature of our arrival, noted it would be best to pick up the first morning. To our absolute surprise and to speak to the nature of our stay, Katie hand delivered the delicious treats right to our camp. Which almost mother instinct when we had only just said to ourselves, we should start breakfast. Bread still warm, we had an incredible first breakfast of our stay. Will definitely stay again, I suspect all camps chosen would be on the same level as amazing, all private and recluse and rhe ability to get lost in time itself, which we did. The gorge, river and waterfalls are only 15 to 30 away, giving this camp a perfect positioning off the highway and close to surrounding activities and sights.

Amazing views and great hosts. Recommend the farm fresh eggs and sourdough made by the host. It was raining a lot on our stay so didn’t get to explore as much as we liked. Recommend a 4x4 if towing a van especially if track is wet. Perfect spot to relax an unwind from everyday life.

Amazing view - was a bit hot over Xmas so we went out daily to go to Alligators Nest which was so beautiful- to have a cool swim! If leaving your site maybe pack up your stuff, The cows are very inquisitive- we loved them but they chewed our fake grass mat and buckle off our ladder! Lovely hosts and we will go back in the cooler months ! Highly Recommended

DO (not) COME HERE! You will want to move in! The hospitality provided by the owners, paired with the views and cleanliness of the property is second to none. Their property is MASSIVE with plenty of room between camps so you're not on top of eachother. I'm unsure how they maintain the entire thing so well, but they do and its amazing. The property is super secure and you feel right at home and safe. 2 hours from Cairns is only a stones throw, why havn't you booked yet?

I was returning back to Brisbane after heading up to Cape York. With less then 15 minutes of booking at 7:30pm I arrive and was greeted from the host. Mr Host went above and beyond. Once we arrived and set up camp, the host had the chainsaw going and delievered fire wood to us. The morning view was absolutely breathtaking. I would recommend 100 times over. Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of land with us for the night.

Hosts were very friendly. Katie took the time to walk around the new arrivals later in the day and greet them face to face. Horses were friendly. Cows in middle of driveways moved after some waving of arms and shooing!
