Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Phone reception is available at the cabin if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather No pets please.

Enjoy camping under the trees beside Christmas Creek while relaxing beside the fire and watching the creek flow by. Enjoy a swim or just relax and watch the wildlife BYO FIREWOOD, FIRE PIT PROVIDED ( Don’t burn plastic or Aluminium ) SMALL CAMPSITE with level areas Fairly private Enjoy a scenic drive in the local area, Christmas Creek cafe is just down the road.  If you are lucky you might see the platypus that live in the waterhole. The track to the creek and camping ground is a winding one lane track with three narrow gully crossings and a couple of passing spots. So please drive slowly. Please be aware, we have cattle on the property and this site is not fenced off from them. Pets are allowed. Off leash if well behaved, On leash at all times if naughty. Please pick up all droppings. Thank you. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek, where you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and then set over the mountains to the west. This cabin is approximately 30 squared metres, features a small veranda out the front with a small table and chairs, facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort to the east. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek with two deck chairs, a bar table and a small table and chairs. The loft bedroom has a queen bed with all linen provided. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. Salt, pepper and cooking oil are provided. Utensils and cutlery, pots and pans and dishes provided. The lounge room has a sofa with a 40 cm smart TV with DVD player. No free to air T.V channel’s or Wi Fi available. If you can get phone reception you should be able to connect to the smart T.V. With your phone. Some DVDS available or you can BYO. A small table for two There’s a small fire pit and two chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains in the afternoon and stars at night. You can drive or walk down to the creek for a relaxing swim. Enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by. Mobile Phone reception is available if you’re with Telstra and sometimes Optus. The property is 2WD accessible but 4WD in wet weather recommended No pets please.

Great spot for a quiet camp, curious cows and variety of birds. Creek was pleasent place to dip the toes and flowing even though everywhere else was dry.

Beautiful well maintained camp sites. Lots of room between sites so felt as though you were camped in your own space. Friendly cows roaming, great swimming holes in the creek and perfect for dogs. Big fire pits at each site as well, would definitely recommend!

Quite enjoyed our stay was nice to have a big area all to ourselves, was a little bit of cow poo to clean away before setting up camp but nothing a shovel can’t fix, couldn’t hear the roads and swimming area was deep enough to have a little jump off the rocks for a splash away from the heat, Currently making a YouTube video on this trip so if interested check out 1nkedExplorer on YouTube today.

Nice and private spot. I stayed solo for 2 nights and it was the best retreat ever. Loved the creek. The booking process was super easy—you can just book last minute, show up, and follow the instructions. Perfect experience.

Campsite 5 is great for a small group. 2nd time there with one of my boys. Creek is bloody freezing but nice for a swim and walk up or down steam.

We loved site 1 at Christmas creek! Nice flat spot shaded by trees. Plenty of room for our campertrailer. Access to the creek. Lots of wildlife and had a morning visit from the friendly cows. Thankyou Kerry we will be back!

This place is my new favourite camp spot. Site 5 has so much room, plenty for the kids and dogs to run around. Nice and shady through out the day Perfect view of the creek with a fire pit directly infront Cannot wait to return

I entered the Christmas Creek valley with a big smile on my face. What a delightful environment. The joy multiplied when I approached Camp 1. It had the marks of a classical campsite as I had grown up with in the 70s: adjacent to a young and fresh babbling creek, sheltered, scenic, serene.

We absolutely love Christmas creek!! We’ve stayed there several times now and will continue to go back. The creek is beautiful, the sites are well maintained and it’s always so quite, peaceful and relaxing. The cows are lovely too. Kerry is a wonderful host so all round 5 stars!! Highly recommend ♥️

What a beautiful, serene spot. Had a lovely time relaxing by the most picturesque creek, even managed a breathtaking dip. We stayed on site 5 and managed to get our 8m caravan in no problem. Was a very private and spacious spot with magic views of the creek. Highly recommend.

Camping along the stream with your own little area is perfect. The cattle slept in the fields at night and were really calm and not bothered in the slightest about dogs or kids. The camp sites are very well maintained.

Nice spot, but quit uneven and lots of cow poo. We did love having the cows visit though. Definitely need a spade. Lovely spot on the bank of the creek.

This was our 3rd visit and loved it just as much as our 1st ..the hosts Are super helpful and friendly..I highly recommend staying..especially at camp site 5 it's gated from cattle...on the flowing river and 100percent private !

Cedar Creek Cabin and camping what a beautiful place and campsite 5 was secluded and well maintained. Will come back in the summer to check out the creek. Was easy to find with the directions that we were given, total peace and quiet and the scenery was exceptional

This is one of the greatest stays we’ve had. There was ample space to feel like you could spread out and still remain private. The location for camping is right on the creek, away from the roads, so it is gorgeous to listen to the water and nothing else. The spot is fantastic for dogs and nice to be able to have them off leash, as well as suitable for groups of people. Will definitely be returning.

Quiet, no through drivers, safe open paddock for the kids to push bike around. The creek is clean and not deep, good for the older kids. Grounds are clean and tidy, easy access to the property. Camp sites are a good distance apart, we're going back soon.

We loved our stay! The directions were super clear, and the open space made setting up a breeze. Friendly cows wandered by, which was a lovely touch. The creek looked beautiful and perfect for a summer dip—though we visited in winter, so didn’t brave it! There’s another site across the creek, but it didn’t bother us at all. We found a tucked-away spot behind the trees and had total privacy. Really appreciated the option for a one-night stay. Would definitely come back.
