Very lovely sites scattered down along the flowing creek. It had great communal area which includes hot water for washing dishes. Each site seems very quiet and almost impossible to hear other campers unless you walk to the communal area.
We had our own little water hole for soaking in. So very relaxing with the constant sound of running water. Will definitely book here again in the future.

It is a lovely and well run Hipcamp site. I did the tour, and I recommend that also. We will be staying again, it's got good facilities and is relaxing.

The land is beautiful and the watering hole was one of the best features of the camp. I appreciated having a functional bush kitchen to cook in and the staff were lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend staying there.

A little bit of Eden! Very well managed camping space, with fantastic amenities and undercover gazebo area, with kitchen. The creek is very beautiful.

My partner and I loved this place. The owner has done really well providing a fun, well maintained and safe space for everyone who stays. The fresh water stream is great for swimming, communal kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and has clean toilets. We will definitely be coming back here!

Amazing views, beautiful creek for those early morning dips. We stayed in one of their amazing bell tents, for that romantic feel. We will definitely be back again.

Only stayed for one night but hope to come back! I also camped at another local spot with a famous waterfall but I have to say the swimming hole here was way more beautiful. A good spot to come if you're feeling social with the centralized communal kitchen.

I loved this camp ground. Rupert has done a great job by keeping it simple yet comfortable and sustainable (full equipped kitchen, solar, and compost toilets). I also loved the policies of taking your own waste and chemical free use of the creek.
Unfortunately, the first night wasn't completely peaceful because a big family decided to ignore the site's rules and party all night instead.
After the Indian party the place was very peaceful, the creek is very nice and the weeds are pretty well contained. I also love the initiative of restoring the riparian vegetation along the creek.
I'm a bird lover so, I couldn't pick a better spot to see plenty of species. Additionally, the views of the national park are stunning.
Another aspect I can't let passing is the fact I felt safe, I was camping on my own and the fact that Rupert actively takes care of the place (without bothering anyone) made me feel comfortable, I even went to see glow worms one evening and left my tent alone for a few hours.

The area is very private and secluded right beneath the mountain. Perfect creek running at the base with plenty of space for activities.
It felt like a commune amongst the Wilderness

Cedar Creek Flat is a beautiful spot. The creek is stunning, the grassy area is spacious, and the whole place feels peaceful. It’s a great break from the city.
The shared facilities were the only letdown. The communal kitchen was untidy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous campers. The food waste area was left open, so there were a lot of flies around. The composting toilet worked fine, but it needed to be emptied or cleaned either early in the morning or late at night, as opening the lid meant dealing with flies.
The road going in and out of the campground would benefit from a domed safety mirror. It’s a narrow one-way road, and if someone is coming in while you’re driving out, there’s nowhere to pull aside or safely reverse.
There was no way to raise concerns with the owner since no one was on site. There’s also no mobile reception in the campground, which is fine, but you can walk or drive to the nearby residential area for 4G.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay. It’s a lovely place, but the common facilities and a few safety considerations need more attention.

The creek was nice but the driveway, leeches and horseflies were a pain. Good for short trips, I went with my mates for schoolies, did a 3 day trip, and it wasn’t half bad. Make sure you bring everything and more, because you’re a decent drive away from anything resembling a shop

Loved this beautiful little campsite with great facilities and a stunningly clean creek to swim in. So many birds and wildlife to watch. Would definitely visit again.

Overall, the experience was not great. The caravan was not clean or tidy. Besides the drawer full of rat shit and piss, the sheets were definitely not clean, there was toilet paper rubish in one of the corners, the floor was dirty and there were dead insects everywhere. To top it all up, there were rats walking around inside the van during the night and we had to use our towels to sleep on top during the night. The manager of the site understood it all, acknowledge it and apologize when we let them know the day after and gave us a refund. Told us they were thinking of decommission the caravan and put a new one in place.

Totally awesome place! So relaxed, beautiful creek, amazing amount of amenities, like gas cooker, fridge, pizza oven! That undercover area was so much more than we expected.

Cedar Creek was a wonderful experience with beautiful surroundings and convenient access to nature. The facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful. However, the campsites were quite close to each other, which made it feel a bit crowded and reduced privacy. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for a quick getaway, but more spacing between sites would improve it.

Great little spot hidden away. I'm not sure I would take a car here as the entrance/exit could be troublesome. Probably wouldn't suggest a trailer either, I took mine but it's an off-road rig and only 4.2m long so we easy to navigate
