Loved Lachlan's farmstay. I was staying there for a local music festival & arrived pretty late & the electric gate was easy as.
Woke up to a great view & had good privacy.

I loved this camp site. The view was amazing. The kids loved to feed the farm animals. There were some noise from the road but it wasn't loud at all. The site was spacious and clean.
We'll be back for sure.

Was a lovely little spot, beautiful sunrise in the morning and a tree on campsite 2 for those that don’t have shade or an awning. Firewood was supplied which sat right near campsite 2. Entry instructions were super clear and had a lovely night.

Great spot close to Maroochydore off leash dog friendly and close to mudjimba dog beach. Fire wood supplied good privacy large site. I towed a dual axle 18ft van in no worries its a fairly rutted short track but go slow no worries, if it was wet weather it would be boggy though. Great location and well priced

Cane Cutters Rest has done it again! My return trip reaffirmed why this place is so special. The setting is beautiful– a serene creek, lovely farm grounds, and the friendliest cows and sheep you'll ever meet. But what truly sets it apart is the warmth of Lachlan and his family; their hospitality is unmatched. It's an ideal spot whether you're planning an extended week stay, a quick overnight stop, or a weekend filled with fishing, paddling, marshmallows and campfires. Plus, being only a 10 minute drive to Bli Bli and Nambour means you're never far from local conveniences. I will be returning. Highly, highly recommend

Awesome getaway, nice little spot on the river, good fire pit, cool to see the farm animals too. Myself and the 2 dogs had a blast. Fun 4wd to get there too

We had a great night by the fire, beside the creek and under the stars at camp site 2. Beautiful spot. Lachlan was really helpful and brought us extra firewood to enjoy. 😊

Good local spot for us for a quick private getaway in our little van. Nice views of Petrie Creek with a choice of three level grassy sites. Well priced compared to other Hipcamps we've tried in the area.

Great secluded site by the creek, a really great spot. A 4x4 is needed for the farm track to the camp sites though and the free firewood provided was old scrap wood with paint on it so we didn’t end up using it as we had planned to cook on the fire.

Camping at Canecutters Rest was fantastic! We have 4x sets of couples and we fit in site 1 perfectly. We were keen on going in the creek and stand-up paddle boarding but it looks like you could only get there from site 3. We do wish we got to see the animals a bit more as the gross was very overgrown on all the paddocks but we got to see them when driving in and out of the property. Note, the sites we mowed and flat. Site 2 and 3 looks like it had adequate shade with a big tree however site 1 didn’t have any trees around. The sunsets were stunning and we were quite far away from everyone which was good as we didn’t feel like we were having to be super quiet. Overall really great spot and not far from Nambour and Bli Bli villages so it was the perfect spot for a 2 night getaway over the weekend.

Great for a stopover. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use. Entry through the gate was a bit difficult due to mud and tall grass. Great cell service and location. Not much to see or do

Lovely spot. Great view, Water activities were fun and fire pit was nice. I’d recommend taking an electric line trimmer to cut a grass patch down a bit.

Site was nice but a bit tricky to access with 4wd and caravan. The host did however move some obstacles to help us get out. Quiet spot on the river.

Great site right on the creek in camp site is pretty elevated from the creek so we weren’t able to get down to it very easily, the road in was a little rutted and rough I wouldn’t take anything but a 4x4 with ground clearance down it. That being said though it was a beautiful spot very secluded and very close to the beach and the Sunshine Coast I definitely would stay again

A great spot to camp while passing through. I was the only person camping but there are only a couple of sites so it won't get over crowded. A short drive to everything you would need with an easy check in.

One of the most gorgeous camping locations. Sheep and cattle on the way in and options to feed them. Camp site 3 was amazing, so much space and a creek just beside it. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing here as-well. Definitely recommend this spot.
