A great get away - No crowds, quiet with only bird songs, gentle sound of water in stream. Friendly hosts - Clinton greeted us on arrival. . Genuinely great spot. Will visit again.

Bunya Gully
The area we camped in was beautiful and peaceful. I love sitting there and listening to the running water in the creek and birds singing. The owners were lovely and kind, had a really good chat and laugh with them. It’s definitely a place I would visit again.

More than Just a another Campsite

This campsite is so much more than just somewhere to camp for a few days. Sometimes you find these places that you don't want to leave. We found that here at Creeks End campsite which is perfect to unwind and relax in this little piece of paradise before our next adventure. Great bush camping beside Calico Creek with well grassed level sites, and so quiet you hear the creek running day and night along with the bird life in the trees. Absolutely loved our 4 days here and will return again one day in our future travels.

I had a lovely time solo camping here. Camp right beside the pretty little creek that you can hear running through the rocks. Very relaxing. Melanie & Clinton are the perfect hosts. I felt safe & very welcomed. Firepits provided, byo wood. Add an echidna to the list! 🥰 When arriving stay on Calico Creek Road.

Really enjoyed camping on this property. The hosts were lovely, down to earth people and you could tell the property was well cared for. The camping area was mown and clean with fire pits provided. There was lots of space between campsites and a huge slashed paddock to walk the dogs in. Lots of bird life and it was so beautiful listening to the sound of the babbling creek which was deep enough in some places for my small dogs to swim on a couple of beautiful hot days. Highly recommend this Hipcamp and can’t wait to return.

Amazing camping spot….this is my 2nd time visiting within the past 2 months. This place is just so tranquil set off the road where no one can see you making it safe for solo travellers. The trickle of the creek is amazing to fall to sleep to and through the day you just don’t want to have any other outside noise to interrupt the peacefulness. Clinton and his daughter Melanie are very welcoming, meeting you at arrival and showing you to your site or just popping down to make sure everything is alright. Firepits are provided You forget that you are only 15min from Gympie but close enough to things if you need anything, Dump Point and Water filling station (seperate locations) are located in Gympie. Look out for the Calico Creek Flats Camping sign in the tree at the entrance.

Perfect spot to relax. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to take our caravan. Total privacy listening to the babbling creek. I think there are 5 areas to camp and even if it was full you still have your own space and far enough away from your neighbour. Each site has its own fire pit. Perfect!! Owners super friendly and respond to all questions via Hipcamp super quickly. We will definitely be back

Creek Corner at Calico Creek Flats camp is a beautiful tranquil camp, very protected and nestled in beside a permanent creek. Amazing birdlife and animals. Firepits provided. Lovely owners/hosts. Please note access is on the left from Calico Creek Rd about 300m past Robinson Rd. Do NOT follow google maps and go down Robinson Rd.

We loved our long weekend at Calico Creek. It was serenely quiet, with simply the babbling creek the only noise. A great safe creek for kids to explore, wide open grassy field with the option for sun or shade. Only 15 mins to Gympie, and close enough to explore Imbil bakery and Kenilworth. We will be back soon!

A lovely view of the creek( although a little hard to access in spots ) had a good flow in it Plenty of room to setup camp we had a van and roof top tent, six people and still room to spread out Camp hosts where absolutely amazing went above and beyond Will definitely be back again

Great price, great hosts & great campsite! The campsite was large, beautiful and secluded. This site had a lovely flowing creek that went around the camp spot. The sites were well spread out so felt very private with lots of space to set up. The hosts were so lovely & super helpful. The hosts also welcomed us to go see their working dairy farm. Definitely recommend this camp, well worth it & will be back again!

Super lovely people. Great paddock and nice creek. Needs 4WD and small rig to go all the way down. Definitely no big rig especially if the ground is wet even in the flat area.

Great spot just 10 min out of Gympie with friendly hosts 2WD accessible. Nice level area once you get to the site with a stream running the length of the area. Very peaceful but so close to shops if needed.

Spot was amazing, very welcoming host. We took our 2 year old. Was such a big spot plenty of room for him to run around crazy. Rocked up late and there was already a fire pit set up for us. There was opportunity to go up and see pat livestock with the host in the morning. Great value for money
