Welcome to Our 170-Acre Private Eco Camp Escape the ordinary and reconnect with nature on our private bushland park and peaceful lake. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in a calm, natural setting,no motors, no crowds, just birdsong and open skies. We are proudly off-grid with no powered sites. Our focus is peace, space, and sustainability. Motorised equipment is not allowed on our lake, but Somerset Dam (40 minutes away) welcomes boating and jet skis. Campsites ; Facilities We have 24 spacious sites, some lakefront and others among trees or open fields. Lakefront spots can’t be guaranteed — sites are assigned based on group size and setup. If you’re camping with others, please message after booking so we can place you together. Facilities include: • Three flushing toilets and two hot showers in the main area • Porta-loos at remote sites (max 500 m from amenities) • Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions) • Firewood available $20 per 20–25 kg bag (no BYO wood) Access ; Vehicles Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Pets ; Wildlife Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care. Events ; Group Bookings If you’d like to host a celebration, please enquire first. • $5,500: Exclusive use for up to 70 campers (2 nights) • $7,500: Up to 120 people (2 nights) Both include early entry Fri 10 am late checkout Sunday. Noise limits apply, no amplified music, quiet after 10 pm. Fires &Firewood Campfires are welcome in supplied pits when conditions allow. We sell local wood to protect against pests. Please follow fire bans. Toilets ; Waste Do not empty toilet cartridges into our toilets. Use the dump point at Woodford Showgrounds. Activities Swim, kayak, paddleboard, or simply relax by the water. Every site is close to the lake, and the scenery is stunning at sunrise and sunset. 🔇 House Rules No powered sites or generators • No drones or motorised watercraft • No driving around campsites • Quiet time after 10 pm •. Children are classed as ages 2–16 — please ignore Hipcamp’s default “13 and over = adult” setting and book using our child rate. 🚗 Access & Check-In FROM 8am you can enter, please let us know approx entry. Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but suitable for 2WD vehicles when driven carefully. Once you’ve set up, you may leave your vehicle parked at your site. Please check in at reception on arrival so we can greet you, answer questions, and show you to your designated campsite. 🔥 Fire and Waste We provide rubbish and recycling bins at reception. Please dispose of all waste responsibly — including pull tabs, bottle tops, bread clips, and micro-plastics. Do not dump rubbish or metal in fire rings. Help us keep our lake and land clean and rubbish-free. 🎉 Groups & Celebrations If you’re organising a group trip, birthday, or celebration, please send an enquiry before booking so we can discuss your needs and allocate suitable sites. 🌊 Relax & Enjoy With wide-open spaces, peaceful surrounds, and plenty of water for swimming and kayaking, this is camping as it should be — quiet, spacious, and close to nature.
