Excellent weekend! Cool and very clean showers and toilets with good water pressure and hot water. In a party of 40 for a Christmas Party, our sites where mowed and very level. Easy to access with a view over the Kolan River.

'A Country Mile' - Cabin
Absolutely beautiful little modern cabin looking over the Kolan River. Just down the road from the Bucca Hotel. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Nice shower and toilet. Kitchenette with the essentials. Excellent outdoor area with BBQ, sink and bench space. Comfortable seating. Nice fire pit. Sarah and Ronnie were amazing hosts and we will be back again.

Beautiful grass sites with a stunning water view. A paddle board or Kayak down the river is a must do! Dog friendly. Clean toilets and hot showers.

It was easy to park our caravan and hook up to power on a lush grassy site. The view was glimpses of the the Kolan river surrounded by a variety of trees and natural bush. The amenities were very private separate rooms. The toilets were well done and very clean. The showers worked great! We were able to kayak from an area below the campsites. We had the place to ourselves and it was so quiet and relaxing.

We had such a great time! The spot was perfect for swimming and kayaking — the water was beautiful and so easy to access. The toilets were clean and had a rustic charm that really fit the vibe of the place. A great mix of comfort and nature — we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely weekend! Such a beautiful spot, and Sarah is super lovely and accomodating! We felt so lucky to be camped up so close to the water, waking up with river views and watching the sunset over the water! We are already trying to work out when we can be back!

Nice spot. Were able to take the canoe down the river and go for a paddle to the pub. Had the place to ourselves even in the middle of school holidays. Flat grassy area for camping.

We extended our stay from 2 to 3 nights as we enjoyed the lovely, quiet setting overlooking the river and leafy surrounds. The clean amenities exuded loads of country charm. Sarah was very friendly and prompt with communications and happily provided us with a brazier for the all important evening fire. It was a pleasure to stay here and would love to return and recommend the camp to others. Thanks again Sarah.

Absolutely beautiful place and surroundings, very peaceful with the wildlife and the river in front. Amenities are second to none. Totally would give a 5 star review. Just one minor thing is that when arriving as a newbie it is not totally clear about where you have to go but after a quick text to Sarah was all sorted. Is definitely somewhere I would go again.

'A Country Mile' - Cabin
The cabin was squeaky clean, well-equipped with a very comfortable bed. Verandah with outdoor setting and barbecue was great. Overlooking the peaceful river and lots of birdlife. I will definitely stay again.

Camping on the bank of the Bucca

We loved staying on the bank of the Bucca River, at Bucca Country Retreat. Sarah was clear with her directions and lovely to chat with. The site is spacious. A real bonus to have power, water and very tastefull and clean amenities. You can see the work that has gone into setting up this camp. Loved the use of recycled timber fence posts to create boundary. Our Cavoodle loved his stay too. And meeting the friendly resident dogs. The pub 800 metres away had great meals!! Thanks Ronnie and Sarah for having us stay.
