Bretim’s Farm - Creek Camp
It was nice and quiet camping on Brenda's land even though there were quite a few other campers there. There was plenty of space to have quite a big gap between others.
The property is pet friendly.
There is a toilet and shower there. Firewood is supplied free of charge for camp oven cooking or campfires.
The property is only about a 5 km drive from Leyburn Village. There is a convenience store there for supplies and a pub that has big & delicious meals and is pet friendly.

Great spot well off any roads. Plenty of room to spread out.
Fire wood and a composting toilet for use.
Lovely welcoming hosts with lots of knowledge of farming and the area.
Good pub nearby.
Beautiful starry night and perfect spot for relaxing.

Lovely quiet location, large flat area by the creek. Hosts are beautiful people, we visited for the nearby Leyburn Sprints event and we’re treated to a complimentary 3 course campfire dinner which was scrumptious. Really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely come again.

Putting up a big screen in the campground for all to watch the Matildas, was such a sharing thing in my book.

The purpose of my visit was to attend the Leyburn Historical Sprints. Whilst there was camping in town, it was incredibly crowded as expected. Staying at Bretim Farm was less than a 5 minute drive away, where there was plenty of space. Brenda and Tim were most accommodating in catering for everyone. Friday night social gathering followed by a hot pot dinner around the fire. The grounds were well maintained, plenty of fire pits and free firewood.
I'd highly recommend Bretim Farm as a destination for the Sprints or simply a great getaway spot. Thank you both Brenda and Tim for your hospitality.

It was a lovely big open paddock with lots of space so you weren’t on top of one another but it was still close to Leyburn.

i absolutely recommend this camping site, has the best hosts, amazing facilities and a beautiful campground. brenda and her family were more than accommodating to us, we had a bit of a tough time at one point but she was so helpful and kind. will absolutely be coming back. 10 stars!!

Bretim’s Farm - Creek Camp
Camping at Bretim’s Farm was great. Two groups with 4 kids and 4 adults. Kids enjoyed the space to run around in and exploring the nearby creek and animals. Brenda met us at the gate and showed us to the site. Amenities were basic but clean. Firewood and fire pits provided a nice bonus to keep warm and get the camp oven going.

Friendly greeting by a true country gentleman , and driven to the site pointing out the bits you need to know. Clean freshly mowed area with fire drums and wood supplied at no extra cost. Ingenious warm shower that needs to be seen to appreciate the genius behind the water heater. Checked up on without being intrusive. Just bloody perfect. Plenty of room for kids to play and plenty of room to spread out. Just a perfect spot at a brilliant price point, with old school country hosts. Go and enjoy.

Lovely spot, super welcoming hosts and the most amazing sunset.
Had a great time chatting with other campers and our hosts during “happy hour” around the fire. We definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Bretim farm. The camping area was huge and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location was peaceful and the wallabies were a treat to see.
The night skies and sunsets were magical and the Saturday night damper and nibbles with fellow campers was really enjoyable.

Great spot to getaway! A little overgrown from the recent floods and the Mozzies were hungry. Excellent camp kitchen on site, hot showers. Plenty of room even if you have a large group!

Beautiful scenery and utterly hospitable hosts. They had huge floods the week before we wanted to stay (we booked with just 5 hours notice) and did everything they could to get the place back up to scratch. They mowed a little patch just for us to put our tent up and welcomed us with open arms. So grateful!

We had a fantastic stay at Brentims Farm. Hospitality second to none and gorgeous country location. Lots of birdlife and plenty of room. Perfect for independent campers and a great place to simply relax and get away from it all. There's nothing quite like sitting by your campfire under a big starry sky. We also enjoyed the added bonus of being able to nurse a 3 day old lamb! What a joy!! The farm is also quite close to the little town of Leyburn, which is also well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time. The camping area was gorgeous and peaceful. Beautiful trees near the creek, flat with lovely green grass, fire pits and plenty of fire wood. Lots of birds. The hosts Jules and Jordan and Owners Brenda and Tim were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for letting us share your piece of paradise.

What an amazing weekend at Bretim’s! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. They even have a camp host who helps with anything that you need! Lots of space so we had loads of privacy from other campers, and the kids still had space to play frisbee or fly a kite. If you are looking for somewhere to disconnect, this is a great spot to do it! As a bonus, we avoided the crazy school holidays traffic on M1/Bruce! 😁 Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time here ! Great location and excellent hospitality from Brenda and Tim and Jules the camp host . The shared camp dinner with our hosts and guests was truly memorable. George got to play with axel, swim in the dam and herd some sheep. Location was perfect to explore the region, large spacious sights for us to set up camp, and just glorious views and star gazing . Highly recommend !!
