Great camp spot for a quiet few days off grid. Was a little windy but that didn’t stop us enjoying the beautiful views of the area and the ocean.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful ocean view site. The location is incredibly convenient yet feels like a world away — all you hear are the sounds of birds and friendly farm animals. The views are stunning and the night sky was absolutely breathtaking for stargazing.

Stayed 3 nights and loved it. The sun rises directly ahead over the ocean in Spring and it's so beautiful. We took the canoe for a paddle through the mangroves which was cool. We were glad we took the gazebo though as there wasn't much shade in the spot we camped and the sun was blazing. Really nice spot though and the bird life is awesome.

Such a beautiful peaceful spot. We stayed 2 nights and as weather was perfect we would have loved to stay more. We had the camp to ourselves which made it even more special. We canoed on Mitchell River both upstream and down, definitely wished we had bait for fishing and crabbing (next time).
The beach was a short canoe trip across the river and that was beautiful.
Definitely recommend, just watch the cow pats!!!

It's a great spot with open plains. I've been twice now and both times I have enjoyed the ocean view and nature. Would not recommend going down baffles Creek, we found massive crocodile foot prints going in and out of the water. One of the properties neighbours also told us that baffles creek is constantly monitored by the rangers and they are constantly taging the crocudiles as well. Apart from the creek I would definitely recommend this spot for a peaceful get away

Fantastic spot, highly recommend. Great open space, amazing view of the water. Had lots of fun canoeing the mangroves. Planning our return with more friends.

Just a quick stop over for the night. Great spot open area with some shade, over looking paddock to the ocean. Cows are friendly and curious will probably come and say hello have a bit of a sniff around.
Will definitely be back for a longer stay

Lovely campsite, with heaps of room to roam! Our little boy especially loved seeing the cows each morning.
Great place to unplug & unwind next to a campfire.
Have already recommend to friends & will be back in the future.

Location was great. Good views. Pre built campfire was handy. Canoe and crab-nets were well used (worth noting that only the big canoe is working the two smaller ones have holes). Stayed there with a group of 11 across 2 sites. Plenty of fire wood. Creek is definitely worth chucking a line in.

Our family had a magical three nights here. Sitting by the fire, sunrises, moonrises, sleeping to the sounds of the ocean in the distance, waking to the birds and cows.. Such tranquility! … Felt like we were the only people here even when there were other people here .… We could go on. Loved it- thanks for having us!

Had a fantastic 2 night stay here, stunning views from the hill top. Perfect place if you want to come and relax and not be ontop of the next camp and to explore local area! Weather was spot on blowing from north when we arrived then west on the last night. I imagine it could get windy if the breeze is coming from the ocean though.

Wonderful couple of days spent on this beautiful farm. The kids enjoyed mud crabbing and visiting the cattle. The entire place was clean and well maintained. It was a great secure spot to leave our van and head out exploring the day and then return to sit by the fire and eat mash mellows. We had the place to ourselves and the view was beautiful.

A beautiful property! We felt very fortunate to be able to camp amongst the cows on this very peaceful farm. We were the only ones there. Great view of the bush and ocean from the elevated campsite during the day and a sky full of stars at night. We used the fireplace each night. Thanks for the fire wood. We stayed 4 nights but could have stayed longer. Just what we needed. We would recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful spot to just relax and do nothing or to explore the property 😍 cows love to come randomly and pay your campsite a visit but don't bother you. There is plenty of firewood to collect around the property so no need to take your own but I did get bit a few times by some ants so be careful when collecting. The creek was amazing and great to throw crab pots. The Baffle Creek store was fully stocked with everything if you forget anything and there was also a bottle shop. Rules beach was a short drive down the road and boat ramps at Baffle Creek were easy to access. We had a chilly Qld winter breeze at night but the fire warmed us up. Will absolutely be back to this piece of paradise.

Great private camp spot. Very peacful. Had it all to ourselves with the cows. So much to explore. The beach is very accessible from the creek. Only wish we stayed longer than 2 nights

Absolutely loved our stay on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful scenery, cattle grazing, and ocean straight behind. Loads of wildlife spotted including a huge goanna, kangaroos and an osprey.
We were lucky enough to have the whole hilltop to ourselves for the 2 nights and used the available kayak to paddle across to the beach which was a lot of fun with our 2 dogs. We also had the entire strip of beach to ourselves. Great built in fire pits and sites well spread out. Free timber also provided. Camille was very informative and responsive. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time camping here! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the super inquisitive cows checking us out every afternoon.
This site is a great home base to explore everything Rules beach has to offer. Being 5 minutes from the beach entrance was awesome to head down and have a fish.
The creek was full of wildlife - didn’t catch any fish but saw garfish, mud skippers, mud crabs and a huge goanna on the way in.
This campsite is perfect for a few days away from the real world.
Be sure to bring some spray for mozzies and sandflys and you will have the best time!!

Lovely spot, ocean views and cattle were beautiful. Access to the creek for bit of fishing. No direct beach access, but not far away. Well presented property, good spacing between campers. Was able to find plenty of fire wood. Good ocean breeze and shade... but definitely bring your areogaurd. Would go again kids absolutely loved it!

Would highly recommend this campsite. Being the only ones there was incredible, being so close to the creek and beach and having the entire beach to ourselves was amazing. The cows were a nice perk for the kids, and are definitely a friendly bunch. Thanks so much Camille for allowing us to stay on your property.

We enjoyed our time here, was a very peaceful spot. Nice grassy campsites with an ocean view and a nice cool sea breeze. Wish we had more time here to explore the creek and beach, will have to come back another time.
