Site 2 - Bradys Bush - Camp site
We stayed at Charleys Creek Campground. Large open flat area with plenty of sites to pick from. Toilets and hot water in the showers. Happy hour at 5pm was a great way to meet the host and other campers. We only stayed one night, but would return and stay for longer.

Beautiful spot by the creek. Very quiet. Big area so you can find a little spot to tuck into. Still walking distance to Chinchilla town even though it felt like you were bush.

Picturesque location once you reach the site but a couple of things to bear in mind. Mosquitos are huge and tons of them even in winter. The site access is through some narrow gates and tight turns between trees and fences, anything wider than 100mm each side of your 4WD will not fit, so really best suited to tents, RTT’s or small camper trailers

Overall we enjoyed our brief stay. The grounds were centrally located in Chinchilla. We would definitely stay there again for overnight but I think this place would be great for families. We thought we’d be jockeying for space but no, plenty of room to choose from Excellent value.

Another great few days beside the creek fishing, kayaking and camp oven cooking. Camp site was as good as last year with easy access to the creek. Wetlands had also developed after all the rain with abundant wildlife in the area.

We loved having a secluded site and the area was very tranquil. It was a little hard to find but Ursula was helpful with getting us there. You might want to bring a tarp or something to put on the ground because the sites are relatively uncleared.

Lovely quiet place to stay , right next to the river, the only unfortunate thing was we ordered and paid $30 for two bundles of firewood ,it wasn’t there when we arrived and the owner said there is plenty of wood you can chop up around the place . He didn’t offer us a refund , very disappointing.

A great campsite for privacy , all to yourself on a nice big area overlooking the Billabong, campfire, plenty of firewood, very quiet, wildlife, and nature. We really enjoyed it.

Fantastic site! Beautifully quiet. There had been a lot of rain recently so the creek was quite high. We brought our paddle board and bikes and had a great time.

Ursula was so lovely, we had done a big drive to Chinchilla so arrived quite late. Ursula talked us in detail on how to get to our camp site in the dark! The next morning she met us and we were able to buy some of their awesome wagu and they also gave us some brisket which they had cooked up the previous night which was also delicious!

Great private camp site at the junction of two creeks near Chinchilla QLD. Plenty of water in the creeks during our stay making for good kayaking and fishing. Abundant wildlife with plenty to see and do. Ursulas local knowledge was invaluable ensuring we choose the right site and escorted us in on arrival. Highly recommend.
