Your host, Durnford Dart, established the property in 1989 as Australia's first commercial bamboo in Australia, Bamboo Australia’s, Belli Bamboo Parkland. Located in an ideal location along the Eumundi-Kenilworth Rd at Belli Park in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. A short drive back to Eumundi or out to Kenilworth. We can now offer FOUR locations. Of the four, two are only accessible by 4WD such as a Hilux or high ground clearance Landcruiser. Sites on offer are all the one price as detailed. Site 1; Cathedral & camp ; vicinity. car/van/rv accessible Site 2: Tulda site. Dry area, easy access most vehicles. This site is now available as with the other three. A nice northerly aspect that enjoys the winter sun . Site 3; Indigena. On the creek bank, very secluded 4WD only. Site 4; Back Creek. Next to our creek swimming hole. 4WD only, deep ruts. There are several other areas being cleared for anyone wanting to share the peace and serenity we enjoy here on the farm. Please call to get details & direction to an individual site. More photos coming. Bamboo forest walking tracks have or are being cleared.

Site 2 Is located on a flat grassed area between the Belli Creek and fresh water dam. Has access for a moderate RV, car or ute. Flat camping area featuring a large clump of Timor Black bamboo. A fire pit is installed. Hikes through the bamboo forests can be undertaken through the tracks available.

A site located adjacent to a running creek. Located amongst a stand of giant bamboo clumps. Isolated and peaceful. Will need 4WD to get in and out on slippery dirt road in wet weather. Open fire pit for use when no fire bans apply. Part of our 100 acre bamboo farm.

Peaceful and Relaxing Escape Among

Site 2 Timor Black Flat
The property at 1171 Eumundi Kenilworth Road, Belli Park, is absolutely stunning — so peaceful, with plenty of open space to relax and explore. The bamboo groves were beautiful and gave the campsite a really unique, calming vibe. The hosts were welcoming and easygoing, and the site itself was clean, spacious, and private. It was the perfect spot to switch off, enjoy nature, and unwind. There was plenty of wildlife around, and being so close to Eumundi and Kenilworth meant we could easily pop into town for supplies or a coffee. We loved the combination of convenience and feeling like we were "off the grid." We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience — and we’ll definitely be back!

Durnford was accomodating. Site was awesome, secluded and was special being inside the wall of bamboo. Close to all amenities if you want to go explore.

Great camp site, very unique. We had a awning tent so we parked just outside the cathedral and the kids camped in the cathedral. The fire wood was very generous. You have to walk through the Bamboo. .

Site 1 Our Bamboo Cathedral
Loved tent camping and walking into the cathedral. Absolutely spectacular and way above our expectations of how beautiful it was to listen to the wind and rain through the bamboo. Durn was a wonderful host and hooked us up with firewood. Will be back again.

This campsite is truely unique! Makes you feel like your in south east Asia without having to leave the country! This site is a must do! There are a few mozzies about so make sure to bring bug repellant. Nice and flat and plenty of space to set up you’ll have no troubles getting a group in here.

Serene bamboo farm camping

Amazing spot to camp for the night highly suggest camping near the ‘cathedral’. Take some mozzie spray and listen to the frogs at night. Durnford was extremely kind and welcoming and showed us to our spot. Had the whole place to ourselves. Will definitely be back!!!
