A lot of space in a great location close to Agnes Water. A lot of space. A squirrel glider came to visit us at night it was so nice.

Great little spot to camp. Close to town so very handy. Definitely needed to be self-contained , which we are. Camp 1 is close to the main road but we had no problem with Traffic noise...

Great location for accessing Agnes Water and 1770.
Close to road so a little bit of road noise but didn't worry us.
Be sure to check surrounding trees as not trimmed so reduces spots to camp unless you want to take a chance with any branches that may fall.

We loved Mark's hipcamp plenty of space to choose from at the upper side n lower side of the dam. Pet friendly can have firepits, there's also plenty of wood around to cut up yourself. No amenities have to be fully self-contained. Would go back.

Not a bad spot to stay for the night. Yes, it's close to the very busy main road into Agnes, but we were out investigating the area any way, and by night there wasn't much traffic at all. Heaps of space too.

Good place to pull up. We parked near the road (it wasn’t too loud) and stayed for 2 nights. Big grassy area with a few other vans and motorhomes. Close to the little shopping village for groceries etc. only a short drive into Agnes Water town and 1770.

Well located. Close to beach & shops.
Tree limbs could do with a good pruning.
Too many overhanging dead branches so you need to be careful where you park.
Main road is quite noisy but settles down at night.
Would stay again.

Cheap and Awesome. Plenty of freedom. Not sure about having to pay for fire wood. Fair if they have provided it but still plenty if you want to grab it. Great place.. would stay again definitely!

Very peaceful - great to have a camp fire. Just a shame that the people there before us didn’t take their rubbish with them. Quiet and close to town.

This hip camp was very disappointing. Nothing like the photos. We parked in the cleanest area right on the main road. We really didn’t feel safe so exposed. Quiet a few permanents

The camp has very few flat areas in which to park, that don't have large tree branches hanging above, making it unsafe.
The 3 different spots I used each had bits of litter tucked into longer grassy areas.
The whole setup needs a good tidying up and tree trimming. If it were mine it'd be getting a lot more use and a lot less bad word of mouth.

Overall a pretty block, lawns mowed, but we had trouble finding a level block...our moho wheels were off the ground in some areas. The flattest, most level area was right by road, which was a bit noisy.

We decided to stay here because the free camps were packed like sardines. This campground was the cheapest in the area and even though there are no facilities it was a lovely and safe place to stop and unhitch for a couple of nights. I think the previous reviewer must have driven into the wrong property? It’s the second driveway with the HipCamp sign. You can camp in the open near the road or go around the back.

We drove in here with high hopes but the reality did'nt match the hipcamp profile. There were 2 areas available to set up camp - area 1 was directly adjacent to the main access road to Agnes Water and completely open to the road and was badly in need of the attention of a lawnmower. Area 2 was higher up the property but was also in need of a lawnmower and had several "guests" already set up there. By the looks of the setups they had been there for quite some time and looked more like "permanants" than guests. It took my wife 2 minutes to decide "WE ARE NOT STAYING HERE!'
Despite having paid for 3 nights we did not stay but found a delightful campground just up the road where we paid $10 per day more but was worth $50 a day more.

Great easy check in and really love/appreciate the late leave for a site. Fast host responses to text messages and great weather updates. Only downside was camp site 1 has a lot of road noise.

Cheap place to stay. Spacious, although, is difficult to find a spot that isn't under dead branches on a tree. We camped in the site near the road, road noise wasn't too bad at all.
We didn't venture to the back of the property as we were unsure if you could. Better signage would be ideal if that is an option.
Also, if you have the honour of meeting one of the border collies (very friendly) they will follow you out to the road when leaving..so keep that in mind as it is a busy road during the day 😌
