Welcome to Middle camp & stay - Dundee All sites offer a peaceful, natural bush setting and a relaxed camping experience with everything you need for a hassle-free stay. 👉 Travelling with a group? We recommend booking neighbouring sites for easy access and a shared space experience. Site 1.
 Located on the south side of the block, with entry also from the south. This is a drive-through site, positioned next to Site 2 — perfect if you’re travelling with a group. Site 2.
 Also on the south side, right beside Site 1. This is another drive-through site, ideal for larger setups or companion bookings. Site 3.
 Positioned on the north side of the block, Site 3 is a reverse-in site, located beside Site 4. Site 4.
 Also located on the north side, right next to Site 3. This is a drive-through site, offering convenience and privacy, ideal for larger setups or companion bookings. Facilities: * Power hookups and non-potable water taps at each site * Indoor and outdoor shower * Shared ablution block, including: * Hot water showers inside and outside. * Toilet * FREE washing machine * A separate tap with drinkable rainwater is available

I stayed at middle camp in a tent twice now with mates and both times have been amazing. It’s so peaceful, bathrooms are super clean and sanitised, the kitchen area is lovely and all 4 sites are spaced well. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful escape into the tropical forest (and out of the scorching heat). Bathroom facilities are immaculate and the outside shower has me wondering where I can build something like this at home… We also had a brief chat with the owner the following morning who gave us a brilliant tip on access to Stingray Head via the Magnetic Termite mounds. We were definitely not prepared for so many amazing structures, thank you for the tip off!!

We recently had the pleasure of spending a few days here, and I can confidently say it was a lovely spot to unwind. The shaded areas provided a beautiful respite from the sun, complemented by a refreshing breeze that made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were top-notch, and the grassy sites were perfect for our fur babies to relax. One of the highlights of our stay was the short stroll down to the beach. Whether you prefer to take a leisurely walk or drive to catch a stunning sunset, the beach is easily accessible. We even had a chance to cast a line off the rocks, which was a great way to unwind. Additionally, the location is short drive down to the tavern and boat ramp, making it easy to grab a bite or put the boat in

Have stayed @ both Site 2 @ Berry Springs camp & Site 4 @ Dundee camp and both were fabulous. Great privacy & amenities, fire pits at both. We did love having own outdoor shower at Berry Springs site. Easy walk to beach at Dundee.

Overall a nice spot and good experience. Unfortunately, I have stayed at the sister camp in Berry Springs a couple of times and this one leaves a little to be desired.. Same price as Berry Springs, but Dundee Beach had very small sites in comparison. Sites not private, no site outdoor showers, no potable water other than a rainwater tank and a descent corrugated road to get a 2WD down.

Quiet private spot, good size sites, site 2 for very large vans. Power, water, one internal shower, one external, use the external shower so as to free up access to the toilet and free washing machine.

Great camping spot. Only 4 camping spots. Close to the beach and the amazing sunsets. The owners Emma and Shane are gorgeous people and are very responsive to questions you may have. Would I recommend this spot….. I certainly would. 😁. Hopefully we will get back to the NT and will definitely come back here . Love the peacefulness….except for the birds 🤦‍♀️😂😂.

Loved our time here. Extremely clean and tidy. Loved the outdoor shower and the free washing machine. So peaceful. Easy access to the stunning beach. Only about a 5 minutes drive to the tavern / boat ramp area. That was nice to visit, but even better to come back to our camp site away from the busyness of that area. Lots of birdlife and the mozzies are friendly!! Will definitely stay again . 100% recommend.

Nestled amongst the trees, middle camp has 4 perfect sites, each with a patch of green grass and a firepit. The 4 sites share one all-in-one amenities block which just perfect, clean and stocked with bathroom supplies. Only short walk to end of the street to enjoy Dundee beach and its glorious sunsets. So much better than being a caravan park. Loved our two nights stay, could have easily stayed a week or two.

Great camp. Shady, secluded and peaceful. Need to fill up tanks before arrival as the potable water is at the amenity block. Road in is 2.5km of red dust with 1km of bad corregations.

What a beautiful spot! The campground is perfectly located close to the beach and is surrounded by lovely bush. There is plenty of shade and each site is carefully planned out. The amenities are fantastic- clean, well-maintained. We loved the outdoor shower. It is clear that a lot of hard work and care has gone into creating such a wonderful place. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again!

Had an amazing stay at middle camp Dundee! Big spacious, shady sites and beautiful, new facilities. Met some great people and just felt very relaxed and recharged by the time we left. Great, affordable spot to base yourself to explore Dundee and the surrounds!

We absolutely loved our stay at Site 1 at Middle Camp & Stay NT! The site was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful bushland — a perfect base for our little family. We were travelling in a van with our baby, and it felt super safe, quiet, and well-kept. It was so easy to drive in and set up, and being close to the beach made for the most magical sunsets. The location gave us the best of both worlds — nature all around but still not too far from everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the NT outdoors. We’ll definitely be back!

A great spot. Felt very secluded, like we were bush camping, but had amenities. Made use of the free washing machine. Lots of mozzies, but that's the tropics! Enjoyed a camp fire. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at middle camp, it was good to finally find a place we could take our dog camping as we have been trying to find somewhere in Darwin for a long time which is also only 2 minutes from the beach & 10 minutes from the lodge. The host was amazing with help & questions when it was needed. We are about to book again for a few weeks time. Highly recommend even if you don’t have pets as it’s a chilled quite campsite 👍

This is a fantastic Hipcamp, the sites are lovely, have great access & lots of shade.. The amenities are the best I have ever seen, a free washing machine & the outdoor shower is a great idea.

Large set up area, green grass but best bit was amenities - outdoor shower (my favourite) was so lovely to shower this way, there was indoor just as nice as well. Free new washing machine was so convenient too. Would recommend this place over & over again. Hope we get to come back. Thanks Emma for the stay.
