Your own private, 1 acre of fully fenced vacant land to set up camp, the second street back from the beach. No one lives on this property, you'll have the site to yourself. We have a place you can park your tent(take some tarps in dry season), camper or caravan in the lovely town of Wagait Beach. Power and water is available onsite, and a bathroom with tiolet and cold shower is also available. 5 minute walk to the beach. Also close by is the Cox Country club where you can sit down and have a quiet alcohol beverage or meal(Open Thurs - Sun). Wagait Beach store is also nearby to buy groceries and takeaway food. Please be advised, the store doesnt sell alcohol at present :( If you are inclined to cook your own food, three fire pits are available at property. You can fish at the jetty, off the beach, or in the two creeks close by..or go bush walking and explore. Perfect place to relax after a fishing trip. Steve has done a great job making his land hospitable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying at Wagait Beach. Steve's communication was also top notch, and I hope to camp at his place again in future.

Awesome little spot for a weekend getaway. Large area with plenty of room for a group. We had 7 adults and 3 children and still had plenty of space. Great little container fire pit area and firewood. Shower wasn’t the best but understandable due to having to cart water in. We took a rubber tub and boiled water and had tub rinse off and kids could have a tub baths which made up for no hot water. We all enjoyed our stay, will come back again.

Hokey's Camp Site Wagait Beach
Loved having the firewood ready for us to use. Great site with power, running water, shower and toilets. Well set up and close distance to the beach. Mostly quiet and private. Looks like the fencing is a work in progress which will be good as it'll make the site feel more private. Huge space for kids to run around and explore.

Ticked all our boxes, seems like it's still under construction, so hopefully in the future it will eventually have a hot tub? but would have been nice to have a shower with some pressure and the option for hot water. Other than that great facilities great location. Great communication from the owner Stephen. Definitely looking forward to another stay for a bit longer than two nights.

Hokey's Camp Site Wagait Beach
We've stayed at Hokey’s Camp Site a few times now and it’s always a fantastic experience. It’s quiet, private, and just a short walk to Wagait Beach — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. On our recent visit, we really appreciated the new improvements like shaded areas and Colorbond fencing — they add comfort and a sense of security while keeping the laid-back feel. The site has everything you need: power, water, toilet, shower, and fire pits. It’s always clean, spacious, and well maintained. Stephen is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and clearly puts care into the place. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone needing a peaceful break. Looking forward to our next stay - as always!

Loved few days camping at property. Always handy to have onsite toilet, power and water. Close to beach and other 4x4 tracks to check out beaches for sightseeing/ fishing etc. Great little fireplace to cook our bbqs on each day. We set up our hammocks and relaxed while listening to the bird life and enjoying the breeze. Highly recommend as property great and as described. Stephen was a great host and made sure we had all the information available to gain access and what to do on leaving property. A1!!!

Hockey Camp is located central to all things Wagait Beach. Cox Club, Shop and beach access. Great clean amenities.

Another great stay, thank you. Large space with both shade and sun for those chasing the rays for their solar. Fantastic clean amenities and even a couple of undercover areas to eat or relax. A number of fire pits to choose from. Fully fenced and secure. Thanks for another great stay. We will be back.

Hokey's Camp Site Wagait Beach
What a fantastic spot for a getaway, short walk to the beach and local country club. Stephen’s property was incredibly spacious and well-equipped. We had two vans, four adults, and three dogs, yet there was still plenty of room. The fully fenced yard was perfect for letting the dogs run free. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay. We had the whole section to ourselves. Great place to view the night sky. Wonderful amenities, fire pit, covered eating area, bathroom, etc. if only we had more time!!

We had a fantastic stop at Stephen’s camp ground, his communication was speedy and clear from the outset. When we arrived it was very clean and tidy, we were so pleased to find a very clean shower/toilet. Yes, it was only cold water but here in the NT that was so refreshing. Lots of options for camping spots, lots of options for camp fires, cooking etc, bonus of water taps, hoses and electrical points AND an area to sit under cover with a fan! The ground is also secure. What a gem of a place. We will definitely stop here again. Thanks Stephen 😊

It was a secure place with lots of space. Enough electricity sockets to charge.. 2 site of firepits.. near Wagait Beach…Enjoyed whole night over there.. Its a place you can go back again.. Host was wonderful.

I went to this campsite with my friends,,, area is really big with lots of facilities,, secure gate, water and electricity,firepits and enough parking… we enjoy playing cricket. As well☺️ so fun.. no outer disturbance ,,beach is just nearby…. Road access is too easy and clear. Damn it ,, highly recommended and will visit soon again🎉😉😉

Hokey's Camp Site Wagait Beach
We stayed for two nights, great open spot with privacy. Access was good, we have a 22ft van and entry and exit was with ease. The beach was about 10 minutes walk and spectacular for sunsets. If you are in the top end, this is a well maintained spot to relax for a few days and enjoy the serenity.
