Come and set up camp in an open paddock (14 acres) with 3 dams up on Mangrove Mountain of the hinterland of Gosford, a stones throw from all the Central Coast has to offer. SADDLES restaurant, GLENWORTH Valley. Mooney Mooney Club has great food dine on the verandah at sunset. Walkabout Wildlife Park is almost diagonally opposite the Jones Road entrance. Sommersby Waterfalls. The block is 14 acres adjoining Brisbane Water National Park there are bush trails to Weeney Creek out the back gate. Situated a few minutes off the expressway close to East Gosford shopping, (12 minutes drive) Kariong Shops and service station 9 minutes away Somersby Falls, Woy Woy Falls and Glenworth Valley. Sydney CBD is 67kms south with Newcastle an hour to the North. There are no Amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Early check-in and late check-out available by arrangement. Additional vehicle access are allowed upon request.

I have to begin by saying that Jennifer is an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE host. She is truly an angel of a person—kind, generous, and extremely accommodating. She was quick to respond, sent us great recommendations, and even checked in with us via text every day to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed on Site 5 for two nights, and the location was perfect. We were greeted by her stunning and friendly horses upon arrival, which was a highlight. The site itself is very spacious, sitting next to the trees and overlooking a little pond and paddocks. It was super quiet, and despite there being two other camper parties nearby, the layout offered so much privacy that we felt completely alone. We have a Nissan Patrol and a double-fold camper trailer, and the site was very easy to access and set up in. The location is extremely private, yet super-convenient—you are only about 15 minutes away from everything you could possibly need, and it’s central to all the famous surf beaches and nature walks in the area. We will definitely be back again!

Site 4 is nice and secluded, complete with some great shade from a cluster of gum trees that made our summer afternoon that much more enjoyable. A nice getaway from Sydney, very close and affordable.

It was a very handy spot to camp after a long days travel and before we headed through Sydney the next day to the far south coast. Only a short drive off the M1. Basically a tucked away horse paddock of a few acres with plenty of space between sites. We booked site 2 after reading other positive reviews. We liked it and felt safe and secure. Would booked again. As the owner’s description indicates there are no facilities and you have to be fully self contained.

Handy location, near Sydney. The place is well maintained with enough room. Site 3 has a slight slope, but close enough to flat, so it was fine.

Beautiful bush camp on the rocky outcrop site 2. Pity the weather wasn’t kinder. Close to the highway so a little road noise but not too bad. Our dog loved the freedom.

Site 7 grass/bush is too high. Booked another site: 5 on the spot and place is quiet and you have your own privacy. Abundant firewood everywhere

We enjoyed our stay here at site 1. Nice and quiet with a lovely view over a dam and the neighbouring horse paddocks. The camp was easy to find with the instructions provided. We had the whole place to ourselves but if there were other campers, site 1 would be private as it looked like trees separated the you from the other sites. Just be mindful of leaving anything out at night as the two cheeky paddock guests (2 horses) are very curious. They tried to help themselves to our secure/zipped up spare wheel bag that had rubbish in it. Gave us a good laugh and being horse owners ourselves know how cheeky they can be. Would come back again when travelling through the area

Roomy sites, plenty of shade at site 4. Very peaceful. Got to enjoy a chat with the host. Would recommend this camp for a peaceful few nights.
