Wunglebung is a beautiful remote 1600 acre working cattle property on the upper Rocky River near Tenterfield NSW. The magnificent Rocky River and Bicentennial National Trail run through the property with National Park boundaries. There are tracks to follow and beautiful valley trails to drive and explore. There is plenty of wildlife and native flora to discover at Wunglebung. A true bush retreat, Wunglebung has areas designated for campers, vans, tents and motorhomes. 4WD access required for all sites but one. We offer bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking and lots of big sky star gazing. No overcrowding.  No fishing.  Please note we have no mobile or internet service available.

Night Watch Camp
We had a fantastic stay at Wunglebung. The sites & property are fantastic, and the luxury of the well appointed toilet/shower facilities a real treat!

Kingfisher Camp
Great spot on the river. Very peaceful spot. If we were very quiet we were able to see platypus in the river each morning and afternoon. Great rustic amenities block with showers and flushing toilets. Sarah made time to visit and make sure we were happy. Thoroughly would recommend.

Camping on River
The amenities provided, flushing toilet and shower were in very good condition, clean and rustic looking. If staying at kookaburra camp, best to swim downstream of rapids. Sarah responded quickly when messaging through hipcamp.

Lovely Camping Spot
Beautiful Spot by a beautiful river! We loved swimming in the river & relaxing. The toilets & showers were in great clean condition! It did work out quite expensive for the night as we have a few kids but other than that would highly recommend.

Beautiful Wunglebung
Another beautiful family camping trip to Wunglebung! As always, Sarah and James are such amazing hosts; great communication with Sarah and both are always helpful and accommodating. Absolutely beautiful property, we loved kayaking on the river, spotting the platypus and watching the birds. The facilities are great - flushing toilets and hot showers, built in a rustic style in keeping with the rural setting! We hope to keep coming back for many years to come . Thank you!
