Willovale – Private Bush Retreat, Narooma NSW Welcome to Willovale, a 5-acre bush retreat on the beautiful South Coast. Nestled just minutes from Narooma and its pristine beaches, this peaceful property offers a true escape into nature. Wander beneath tall gums, spot native birdlife, and enjoy the quiet seclusion of the bush. A large dam adds to the charm, attracting wildlife and creating a serene backdrop for your stay (please supervise children near the water). With the convenience of town close by, it’s an easy base for exploring beaches, walking tracks, and local attractions - or simply unwinding in a tranquil setting. Willovale is off-grid and low-impact, making it best suited to self-contained campers who appreciate space, privacy, and the simplicity of a bush stay. Good to know: Sheep are contained in their own section of the property - please ensure all gates remain closed. We’re happy to welcome dogs by request. Please keep smaller pups on a long lead, as they can sometimes find their way through the farm fencing. 🔥 Fire Safety: From 1 October – 31 March, Willovale falls under the NSW Fire Permit Period. During this time, campfires are not permitted unless solely for cooking. Cooking fires are only allowed if: - Used exclusively for preparing food - Lit in the fire pit with at least 2m cleared all around. - Supervised at all times, and fully extinguished afterwards. 🚫 On Total Fire Ban days, no fires of any kind are permitted. Highlights: - 5 acres of peaceful private bushland. - Native trees, birdlife & tranquil dam views. - Quiet retreat close to Narooma’s beaches, shops & trails. - Off-grid, eco-friendly escape with plenty of space. Willow Dam
We really enjoyed our stay at Willow Dam! Whilst the hosts house is in view, it still felt very private & aside from a wave from afar as they returned home, we were left to our own devices. The space was very easy to find and not far out of the town of Narooma so there is plenty nearby to explore & all the amenities you could need. We loved the fire pit that was available & massively appreciated the pile of firewood to get us going. The log stools & dam were also great. The paddock is fully fenced which is a game changer for those with dogs. We still kept our girl on a leash because there were sheep in the paddock next to us and the fence isn’t the highest. The hosts have two dogs who were a couple of paddocks away by the main house which again we appreciated because they were a good distance away from our dog for them to be a distraction. Fab stay - thanks so much!
