We looked for alternative ways of living 6 years ago so we purchased 220 acres to build an off grid camping/eco resort. The property consists of a straw bale house, Tipis, Cottages, 5 stars shared facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets - disable toilet ), outdoor kitchen (gas bbq, pizza oven, all kitchen utensils, pots ), solar system and worm farm septic system. The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. With this booking you have access to the entire place for up to 50 people, ideal to make an event without disturbing anybody. (Workshops, Commercial, Team Building, Bdays, wedding, just a get-together without others) This package includes the following: a bonfire (depending on fire restrictions), speakers, and a generator including petrol to power the music. (You’ll need to bring the mixer for the music - no subwoofer allowed) The cottage can be used as a DJ stage and covered dancefloor, accommodating up to 4 people. Further accommodations are a small teepee for 2 people and a big teepee for up to 7 people. There is access to flushing toilets and hot showers; please bring your drinking water. Outdoor kitchen with : bbq, pizza oven, fridges. We are located in the heart of the Wollemi and Yengo National parks, just 2 hours from Sydney CBD. The 220 acres fully off-grid property is set in its valley over 1km long, the boundaries being at the ridges forming a horseshoe, making the valley a relaxing place in the bush with all the comfort of a home. Access is pretty easy, any car can access. we even had coach buses coming in! You will find a designated fire pit No powered site. 200 meters from flush toilets, hot showers, and the camp kitchen. Please remember to bring your drinking water! Access 2WD To access the campsite, you cross a dry creek. We have smoothed the creek's surface and created a ramp for easier access. However, if your car is very low to the ground, you can park it on the side, and we'll be happy to help move your belongings to the campsite.

You get access to all campsites and accommodation options, including: * Small teepee (2 people) * Large teepee (up to 7 people) For additional accommodation options, contact us directly. We can provide up to 3 more bell tents (4 meters in diameter) at extra cost. Site 3 offers a versatile space where the cottage can be transformed into a DJ stage and dancefloor area. The surrounding area is perfect for setting up an outdoor dancefloor, while the inside of the cottage can serve as a quiet resting place for guests who want to take a break after dancing all night. The package includes a bonfire, speakers, a smoke machine, and a diesel generator including diesel (you are welcome to bring your music mixer, or we have a USB-C adaptor jack available; note that subwoofers are not allowed!). Amenities include 5 x flushing toilets, 4 x hot showers, and a urinal. The camp kitchen comes equipped with a BBQ, a pizza oven (please notify us in advance if you would like wood-fired pizzas catered for $20 each), a standard-size fridge, and a small fridge (additional small fridges available on request). We also sell bags of ice ($3.50 each) and extra firewood ($20 per bag). The property is just 2 hours from Sydney, offering a perfect escape to enjoy your event with full freedom and privacy. Such a lovely property. The facilities were the best I’ve ever seen at a campsite, the staff were lovely and it was fantastic being surrounded by wildlife (kangaroos, wallabies, birds), the ducks, the chooks and the neighbouring cows. Super easy to find and pretty accessible, I drove in in an AWD but reckon you could get in with something as small as a Polo. It was so peaceful and lush and the trails at the end of the property were really cool and had some informative signs up. Nice big camp sites, would definitely recommend and come again! No reception with Optus/Vodafone but there is free WiFi available near the reception / amenities block. My dog loved the property too!

We stayed in the cabin at Wanderlust and it was great. We were there in the middle of winter and it was very cold but the fire works well to keep the place toasty. The surrounding area is naturally very beautiful. Be aware that the destination is very remote and that the cabin is quite basic. The beds were comfy and warm but the electricity ran out quite quickly once it got dark (it’s solar and doesn’t get much sun in the winter). You will need to bring gear for heating things or cooking unless you want to walk to the shared space which is about a three minute walk. Bring head lamps or lights for when it gets dark. The toilet and shower block is clean and modern. The staff are also lovely!

Beautiful place for camping/glamping. Owners and staff were lovely and the amenities were great. Lot to do..highly recommended for families. My children in particular loved the ducks and chickens as well as hiking and playing in the playground. We will return in the not too distant future!

Bell tent with jacuzzi
we booked the bell tent with jacuzzi. Overall we had a good stay and the staff were very lovely and helpful. Bell tent was clean and site facilities as expected. The site is tucked away and gives a bit of privacy and serenity which is nice. Just a few things we didn't realise beforehand that might help others... the jacuzzi is heated by fire, it takes hours to heat up. Firewood is free for the first bag, which is small and won't get you far on heating the jacuzzi, so you either need buy lots more, fossick for more through the bush (which is what we did) or bring your own. Free Wifi is great, but it is available in the common areas which are a bit of a walk from this particular site. We had very patchy 4G on telstra, optus didn't work.

We had a great time. Other campers around the place but the bell tent(s) are off with some privacy. Dog got to run around wild, had a great time, as did the kids. Thanks for having us!

Camping at Wanderlust was amazing! We went on a weekday, and it was absolutely the best. So peaceful, surrounded by stunning nature and animals. The hosts were super friendly and helpful too. All the facilities were new, clean, and worked perfectly. Definitely recommend!

A family of 5 with a 5 year old, 2 year old and a baby. My family absolutely loved this stay. The 5 year old rode around on her bike making friends around the campgrounds and at the pool, my 2 year old was hugging and kissing trees and also made friends with the geese and chickens. We also enjoyed exploring the gardens where our 2 year old and 5 year old would pick and taste some strawberries, tomatoes, capsicum and cucumber.

Loved our stay in the bell tent with jacuzzi, it was isolated and quiet yet close enough to all the amenities. We brought our own Webber though so we could enjoy the peace and quiet. Loved it and will be back

Hi I camped at 5 Lyrebird site towards the end. I wanted that area because of my dog so he was away from everyone. I stayed for 2 days which was enough for me. There is a 4km gravel road to Wanderlust and the road is corrugated. Hosts are awesome thank you for letting my dog use your dam to cool down, that was his first time in water he lived that. Facilities are awesome and clean. Suggestion would be to have a mop in each shower to clean after use. Eggs and wood can be bought here but I bought my own wood and fire pit. If you’re looking for a tranquil peaceful organic stay Wanderlust would be your go to. Thanks again

The host was super nice and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The tranquility of the area is unmatched, and there’s so much to do on-site to keep everyone entertained – from nature walks to fun workshops. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend

We recently spent 3 nights camping at site 2 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The site was huge with a good mixture of shade and sunlight throughout the day. The owners are staff very accomodating and friendly. The shower/toilet block is on par with anything you find at a commercial caravan park. The wood fired pizza’s were enjoyed by everyone. Great spot for kids. We will definitely go back.

Well laid out site . Lots of space . Toilet and shower amenities are very clean and top notch . We stayed in the cabin which was comfortable, clean and well laid out . The booking came with firewood which was a nice touch , the guys had set up the wood burning stove in the cabin - very thoughtful. Lots of wildlife and birds . The pooch loved exploring the bush . The hosts were super nice and helpful and even gave us some eggs on the way out . The road is unsealed so would advise to come with a vehicle that has high ground clearance.

Such a great place, the hosts were great and always around and ready to help or chat. The camp ground is great and has clean and spacious facilities such as hot showers, toilets and a kitchen space to clean and cook. The tipi was great and nice to be away from other campers for extra privacy. Thank you!!

Wonderful spot! A little bit of fun getting there with a dazzling windy forest drive, easily marked signs so you can't really miss it. The driveway is dirt, so if it was raining alot it would get a bit slippery. 4x4 recommended. Beautiful wildlife and friendly host! Highly recommended. We loved the shady campsite at site 4, close enough to amenities but far enough for your own space. The hosts were amazing and gave us a little tour of their off grid setup and the amenities went down really well!!

Site 1 - Wallaby
The family had an incredible weekend at Wanderlust! Stephanie's hospitality and the serene atmosphere at site 1 made our camping experience memorable. The proximity to clean amenities added to the comfort. It's fantastic that we are already planning to return with our family. Happy camping adventures ahead at Wanderlust!

Beautiful property, peaceful and serene. Lovely host, Steph was super accomodating supplying us with wood and eggs on arrival. Facilities clean, and no complaints. Would love to come back soon for another stay!
