At The Good Life, we’re big on personal space. Every campsite is large, private and genuinely secluded, giving you the feeling you’re a long way from everyone and everything. Your own patch of paradise. No caravan awnings poking you in the eye, no surprise drop-ins, and no listening to your neighbour’s snoring, generator or life story. Bliss. Forget your phone alarm. Your morning wake-up call is the local kookaburra choir having a proper laugh at life. This is a true back-to-nature escape for anyone needing to pull up a stump, slow right down and properly unplug. If bird watching, stargazing or simply doing sweet nothing is your idea of a good time, you’ll fit right in. Dogs are very welcome. Keep them on a lead while you’re wandering the property, then let them be their goofy, happy selves back at camp. Campfires are practically mandatory. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee. Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories. What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think. There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails. If you feel like venturing out, the Orara Valley and Coffs Coast offer stunning rainforests, beaches, waterfalls and swimming holes, all within a 30-minute drive.

Dam-side Hollow overlooks a dam with a generous grassy space for you to get comfortable on. Surrounded by tall trees and all the sounds of the Australian bush you can enjoy the huge variety of birdlife and the kangaroos and wallabies who love to feast on our pastures. Guests will need to be self contained, take all your waste with you and leave only footprints. Please keep your pets contained, off leash is fine at your site. If you are in other area's of the property a leash is required.

Hidden Grotto is the highest campsite on the property, giving you two very different ways to camp, depending on your mood. Set up on the upper area and you’ll be looking out through the treetops, with cooling breezes and a leafy outlook that feels nicely removed from the rest of the world. Choose the lower spot and you’re right down in the bush instead, sheltered, secluded, and genuinely hidden away. This is a small, low-impact campsite, surrounded by nothing but bush. It's ideal for a swag or a small tent, with space for a compact campervan. 4WD is recommended. The access track is part of the adventure, and helps keep this spot as private as private can be. A great choice for solo travellers or couples after elevation, privacy, and a proper bush hideaway 🌲

Dan and Ro were great hosts with excellent communication. The site was easy to find and beautifully secluded. The camp spot was lovely, with a fire pit and wood supplied, which made it perfect for sitting around an open fire and relaxing. This site is on a slight incline so we set up in the flatter area towards to water lily pond.

Spent a lovely night at Dan and Ro’s property, the campsites are large and spaced apart so you have plenty of space between neighbouring campers, lovely and peaceful by the dam would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling in the area

The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable, they recommended site 6 to us and we were absolutely glad they did. It was very private and just an amazing place to stay. Our dog was able to run around freely without any distractions as the site is very private and away from all other sites. Nana Glen is a beautiful place, it has a very quiet country town feel, there are so many great water holes to explore and some great 4WD spots. It’s only a short 30min drive to Coffs Harbour for major shops and 30 mins gets you to many different amazing beaches. We would absolutely stay there again and are already thinking about our next trip. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing camping place.

Had a great time and stayed longer than we planned. The perfect place for a quiet off-grid getaway by a dam filled with waterlilies. Plenty of space for our corgi to run, and wonderful communication from Ro and Dan. Will be back.

We booked this site on incredibly short notice and have absolutely no regrets. The moment we showed up we were greeted with big smiles and fresh eggs! We were so shocked considering we gave them only 30 minutes notice of our arrival. Our site had just been taken by someone else, but Ro directed us down to a site next to a little stream and pond. It was just what we needed for a few nights to get some washing done and have some downtime. The Firepit was excellent and there was already a heap of firewood for us to use. We had a heap of fun trying to catch yabbies and identify frogs. The hosts were so lovely, and even checked if the nearby mowing was too annoying for us. We felt so welcomed here and are excited to come back and see all the amazing things they have planned for this camp.

Wow! We were welcomed by the super friendly doggies, which our doggies were so happy to hang out with at the house before we headed off to the campsite. It wasn’t a busy weekend, albeit being the long weekend, so we were told we had a choice of where we wanted to go. There were more options than on the website. We chose the huge flat open space nestled among the eucalypts. It was pretty magical having the space to ourselves, with shade in the morning and in the arvo. We walked up the hill each morning with the dogs and discovered an awesome State Forest walk and pools to swim with the dogs, not too far away - ‘upper Nana creek falls’. Ate too many choc bananas from the local corner store and bought some local honey just round the corner. It’s a simple setup - self sufficient camping and fend for yourself toilet.

Perfect place for a peaceful, private and relaxing break. We chose the waterlily pond site which was lovely to wake up to. Ro & Dan are great hosts and provided us with firewood and fresh eggs and lots of info on the area, including future upgrade plans for the property. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the campsite, and it was truly an enjoyable experience. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and fresh air. It was a bit tricky to get into campsite as you have to go through the mud and water but it was exciting experience for us, thanks to Dan for guiding us all the way. Very cool man, and hospitable. Overall, it was a memorable getaway. Highly recommended.

I didnt end up staying at the original camp site, as the weather was bad and my 2wd wouldn't have made it. Dan and Ro gave me an alternative dry camp spot in their top paddock which I really appreciated. Will be back for when the weather is better!
