Talisman is a pretty 9 acre rural property situated just out of Bega on the far South Coast. We are centrally located to access all tourist and nature attractions on the Sapphire Coast - including so many stunning beaches and inlets (for swimming, surfing, boating and fishing), national parks and forests (for bush walking, photography, bike riding and exploring), shopping, coastal townships and tourist attractions + some fantastic local wineries, breweries and restaurants. We offer two very spacious, unpowered camping sites with gorgeous views to Mumbulla Mountain for fully self-contained vehicles only.'Talisman' is a beautiful 9 acre private property situated just out of Bega on the far south coast. We have two very spacious, unpowered grass campsites with lovely views for FULLY SELF CONTAINED CAMPERS ONLY - you must have your own toilet please!. We do not have toilets or amenities available at this time, so it is essential that you are fully self contained. We are only a short drive from Bega township, Bega Cheese Heritage Centre & Bega River. The campsite available is grassed, flat and very spacious and has lovely views down the valley. Non-potable water access is available. We are pet friendly and your fur baby is most welcome to stay. However, for their safety and the safety of others, we do ask that you please keep your pet on a lead at all times, as we do have livestock on the property. Camp fires in fire pits are allowed during non-fire ban periods - however, please provide your own firewood as we do not have any readily available.

Mandy & Colin were very welcoming. We loved our stay on there property. Close drive to Bega as well as Tathra. We stayed for 3 nights. Plenty of room to park our caravan. Thank you 😊 Des and Jenny Sykes

Highly recommend Talisman. Col and Mandy were gracious hosts. Great communication, friendly and helpful. Greeting us when we arrived, and ready to assist us if we required it. Property was perfectly situated a short distance from Bega. We felt comfortable leaving van all day while we explored the Sapphire Coast.

We enjoyed staying here. The mountain views werr beautiful. The owners were lovely and the spot quiet. Even the horses came up and said hello.

Mandy and Colin were very accommodating and warm : they even offered to come down show me way to the property as the road was closed because of the overflowing river. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the property if you are lucky !

Talisman is a wonderful hipcamp. It’s a fantastic location. The site isn’t completely flat, but easily sorted. The lawn is well manicured and the area is lovely. Will definitely stay here again if I’m around the Bega area.

Lovely scenary, and with only one other camp spot its not overcrowded. Very quite, peaceful spot. Must be fully self sufficient in your vehicle especially toilet and water. We just spent 1 night so didn't explore the area or get to meet the owners but they were super communicative. Thank you.

Beautiful grassy spot not too far out of town. Great place to use as a base camp to explore the South Coast as we did. Plenty of privacy & stunning views in all directions. Hosts were wonderful people & extremely accommodating.

It was a great 2 night stay at Talisman. The grass sites are wonderful. It is flat, has a great view of the rolling hills. It’s easy to get to and Col and Mandy are great hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Very quiet, nice soft grass and fairly level. Fantastic host, very friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

Beautiful spot with amazing views and only 10 mins from Bega. Col and Mandy were so helpful and friendly, and we fell in love with Holly the horse :) Easy access to the site, I recommend parking at the lowest end of the paddock (closest to the gate for the most level spot). Dump point and water are in Bega. We’ll definitely be back!

Mandy and Col are lovely hosts who give you a warm welcome and then respect your privacy. Their front paddock has beautiful views and easy access. And it's only about 10 mins into Bega. We loved chatting to the horses and the wonderful hospitality.
