This enchanting tree-filled, 13-acre property is located in the beautiful South Coast region of NSW, close to the spectacular beaches of Jervis Bay and quaint villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley. The property is hidden away among the gumtrees and surrounded by dairy country. It is a perfect, peaceful place to base yourself for a weekend or a week exploring the beaches and nature walks in the region, or the rock climbing areas of Nowra. Your accommodation is either a cosy room in our converted barn, where you'll be very comfortable with all you need for a great weekend away, or a spacious camping spot in your own tent or van.

Camp Site 1 - is a lovely flat tree lined area for fully self contained campers, room for a car and caravan or campervan. We have toilets available for your use at the far side of the barn (its a bit of a walk) There is 1 female and 1 male toilet. Fires allowed out of fire season and wood is available for collection. Fires in provided fire pit only.

Camp spot 2 - is tucked away among the trees and has room for 2 tents, or camper-vans. We have toilets available for your use at the far side of the big barn. There is 1 female and 1 male toilet. Fires allowed out of fire season in a fire pit above ground which we can supply if needed and wood is available to be collected. Be welcomed by the sheep on your arrival and feel free to give them any raw vegetable scraps you may have.

The Barn Studio If you love the idea of camping but want to enjoy the comforts of home then we have the place for you. Located on a bush block surrounded by dairy country you can enjoy a cosy night by the campfire under the stars, maybe a guitar and sing along, then retire to your air conditioned room to sleep. Awake to the sounds of the local birdlife and the sheep in the paddock. 5 minutes from Nowra 25 mins to the beaches of Jervis Bay and to Berry.

The location is great with just a short drive to nice bushwalks and beaches. Site 4 can be a bit of a walk to the toilets and is next to the road which can be noisy at times. Site 1 seems to be the best out of them all, furthest away from the road and closest to the toilets, and spacious like site 4. The toilet facilities themselves were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the number of mosquitoes around the campsite was quite unpleasant and made it hard to fully relax outdoors. On a positive note, they provide mosquito coils and firewood, which was much appreciated.

The perfect stay for me and my partner! The toilet was immaculate, and such a special treat on top of a wonderful campsite. Communication was fast and easy, instructions to campsite were spot on! Great stay!

It’s a beautiful landscape and so close to the town. The sunset was lovely and it was so nice of them to prep firewood for us!! We definitely needed it to smoke out some of the flies.

We loved camping at Secrets of Terara! Site 4 is very spacious compared to the other sites, though keep in mind it’s the furthest from the toilets, so there’s a bit of a walk. The property appears to be a working farm, with old equipment and sheds scattered around. While this adds character, it’s worth noting that it may not be the safest for little ones - we had to keep a close eye on our daughter. There’s no drinking water on site, but the toilets are modern and clean. We brought our own portable shower, which worked well. The location feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, yet Nowra is just a short drive away if you need supplies. Jervis Bay is also nearby. Highly recommend Wowly Creek at Callala Bay for a swim! Paula was fantastic and super responsive throughout our stay. Overall, a beautiful spot and we’ll definitely be back!

This campsite was nice and green. Beautiful trees lined this area and gave instant cool and shade on a hot day. Toilets were a short walk away and were nice and clean. Directions were perfect and easy to find. A good spot for exploring surrounding beaches, a 15min drive away.

Fairly secluded camp sites, loads of shade, grassy & level base. A peaceful property that is close to Nowra, the excellent Worrigee Sports club a short drive away. Loved our stay, lots of interest around the property, including a handful of friendly sheep. Would easily recommend to anyone. Just bring your insect repellant, but that's a given with surrounding farmland.

Paula's spot was an ideal spot as a base to explore the nearby Kangaroo Valley and surrounds. Close enough to town for any last minute supplies, but completely secluded in a quiet clearing amongst gum trees - with birdsong all around. The facilities were great and Paula was a wonderful host.

This was such a peaceful site to camp at. Even though it isn't far from a road it was very quiet. So many birds!! Paula is very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. We enjoyed having a flushing toilet (site 1 is the closest to the bathroom). This was definitely a great choice for us and we would happily come back to camp there again!

Beautiful chilled out spot. Feels very private and I think it would even if the four spots were taken. Had a lovely time sitting in the sun and cooking dinner. Paula is lovely and friendly. Totally worth the money for a nice camp spot in the shade of the trees. Woolies is only a 8 min drive for supplies. Wedding music on the Saturday night down the road really isn't that loud.

Lovely sites, facilities and location. Not too far from any major need but a perfect spot with fresh air, sunset and sunrise views and some peace and quiet! Hosts are great at responding and keeping in touch. 10/10 will come again

We enjoyed our stay at campsite 1. The grounds were lovely, and toilets were spotless. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Unfortunately, the area around the camp is popular for weddings, which meant a very late, noisy Saturday night for campers.

Great spot. Over the fence was water and we thought there would be a million mozzies but there were none. When we got back from our outing we lit the wee fire drum and sat listening to the frogs. Would definitely come back, host was great to communicate with.

Paula was so lovely, prompt with her responses & helpful in every way. The location was easy to find, directions were clear. We experienced lush green grass, surrounded by gum tress, cows in the distance, birds everywhere, hares could be spotted in the mornings. We felt relaxed at Paula property. And I must mention feeding the sheep, my kids loved it.
