Welcome to Rosewood Farm – Bushland Glamping by the Bargo River Rosewood Farm is a charming hobby farm that offers a unique and memorable glamping experience for families or couples. Nestled on five peaceful acres, the property backs directly onto the gorgeous Bargo River State Conservation Area. Over 1 700 hectares of stunning Australian bushland, teeming with native flora and fauna. It's the perfect escape for nature lovers seeking both adventure and tranquility. From your private campsite, enjoy direct access to your own walking track, just 20 metres from the river’s edge. Take in river views right from your tent, and explore nearby swimming holes, soft sandy banks, and sun-warmed sandstone rocks. Bushwalking trails meander along the river and through the surrounding bushland, leading to picnic spots and more secluded swimming areas. Highlights include the stunning See Thru Pools, a family-friendly favourite, and the iconic Mermaid Pools, a 25-minute walk downstream. This remarkable site features dramatic sandstone cliffs, panoramic views of the Tahmoor Canyon, and a cascading waterfall. (no swimming) Back at Rosewood Farm, you’ll be greeted by our friendly alpacas and pygmy goats who love pats, hand-feeding, and attention. Your spacious bell tent will be fully prepared for your arrival, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to four guests. The campsite is thoughtfully equipped with quality bedding, a mini Weber BBQ, battery lighting, a dining seating, an open fire pit, and a shared shower and toilet (located in a separate area attached to the farmhouse) Native wildlife adds to the magic of your visit. You may spot bush wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas, frogs, and a wide variety of lizards, especially during the calm of early mornings and late afternoons. The area is also home to an abundance of stunning birdlife, making it a birdwatcher’s delight. Soak in uninterrupted views of the surrounding bushland and the stunning Bargo River. Guests have access to a private bathroom featuring a toilet, shower, and vanity. Located approximately 30 metres from your bell tent and attached to the main farmhouse, you'll also find a shared laundry and kitchenette equipped with a wash basin, washing machine, dryer, fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave. Amenities include: Free Wi-Fi (available in select areas) Filtered tank water Access to electricity from the laundry/kitchenette area. (note: may be interrupted during severe storms or outages) Gas cooking Important Notes: - Please keep your campsite clean and take all waste with you upon departure. - Out of respect for our livestock and local wildlife, we ask guests to observe quiet hours from 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM - Firewood is available to purchase for $10 a wood pile, payable upon check-in. Stayed for 2 nights on the weekend with the family, it was lovely and my girls had the best time. The tent was spacious & clean. The host made the space very aesthetic and cozy. And out stay comfortable There was Double bed and 2 single bed all with beddings, pillows and duvet covers perfect for family of 4 or any group of 4. Everything needed for camping is there, Bbq, fridge, kettle toaster, so really we only need to bring some change clothes. The host also prepared some torches for my girls, lantern and spare batteries incase we need them, very thoughtful :) And there’s a beautiful river nearby which was lovely for water play, quick dip, or just simply enjoy the nature . There’s also some beautiful pools with waterfalls cascades that require abit of hike 15-20 mins, we chose not to go because we have a 4yo with us. The highlights for my daughters was the farm animals, Melissa lets them join in every feeding while we were there - lots of animals feeding & patting time, it was truly an experience for them. This place is truly gems! Only abt 1 hour from Sydney But feels secluded & private, shops are only 5 mins drive from the property. Its the easiest most convenient camping experience you’d have! Highly recommended! We will be back for sure

Unbelievable spot! The furry friends are a great added bonus. Mel was a fantastic host and had thought of everything we needed. We were spoilt with pure sunshine and magic stars both days. Loved exploring mermaid pools and having a dip at see thru pools highly recommend.

Rosewood's Riverside Glamping
Our family trip to riverside glamping was fantastic. In the tent everything was neat and pretty with a welcome treat, and Melissa was super helpful and made sure we had no issues. Kids loved feeding the animals, and we even explored few of the recommended places that was mentioned in the file at the tent. The view from the tent is amazing, and wake up mornings with many different bird songs.

Rosewood's Riverside Glamping
The tent is set up in a beautiful location with a view on the campfire and the gorge. But most of all our family loved the pygmy goats. It was so great to be able to pet, hug and play with them all day long. The host display super hospitality, when the next guests canceled we were allowed to do a very late check out, basically getting another day at the farm. Thanks so much!

Glamping at rosewood was a great experience, perfect spot for a weekend getaway that is secluded but close enough to shops and restaurants. Mel was a great host that made sure our stay was most comfortable. The hike to the mermaid pools is a must do!

Rosewood's Riverside Glamping
We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Rosewood Farm! It is a stunning spot and the hosts were very kind and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting around the fire pit under the stars at night and exploring their length of the pristine Bargo river below by day. We're hoping to come back in summer!

Idyllic weekend escape

We loved camping at Rosewood, having the fire pit roaring and the river in the background makes for a perfect experience. We had fun making friends with the goats and the location was handy for a lazy weekend away. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed, and apart from being cooold (that’s midwinter camping for you) nothing went awry.

Rosewood's Riverside Glamping
This camping spot is set in the stunning bushland along the Bargo River. Surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature and the river, made for a perfect escape. The goats and alpacas added an extra layer of charm to the experience and the short walk down to the river made it feel even more special. The tent is cozy and comfortable, and the toilet and shower are just a short walk away, Having access to hot water and electricity only a stones throw away was an extra bonus! it was the ideal blend of nature and convenience. Our wonderful hosts were attentive and welcoming, and the location was conveniently close to town for any supplies we needed. This glamping experience is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and connect with nature with the camping experience, and without having to pitch a tent or sleep on the ground! We will definitely be back again! Thank you

Rosewood's Riverside Glamping
This was such a great place to spend the weekend. Everything we needed was there and Ben and Melissa were so helpful. It is located conveniently close to town with plenty of things to do nearby. Our kids loved the animals and the fire pit. Our hosts even set up soccer goals for our soccer loving son. We absolutely recommend and will be back to enjoy the river in warmer weather.
