Escape the noise and reconnect with nature on our private off-grid bush block, nestled between state forest and national parkland near Elands, NSW. Just 20 minutes past the breathtaking Ellenborough Falls, this secluded property is a haven for 4WD enthusiasts, mountain and dirt bikers, nature lovers, and anyone craving a quiet retreat in the wild. The land is shared with local wildlife and the occasional wandering neighbour’s cows, offering an authentic Aussie bush experience. Surrounded by untouched native forest, the area is dotted with seasonal creeks, koalas, kangaroos, curious goannas, and the occasional late-night chorus of geckos. We offer one cleared private campsite tucked away for peace and privacy. Sites are unpowered and have signage, and shade, but NO basic amenities are available and campers are required to bring in and remove ALL essentials (water, cooking equipment and toileting supplies). 🛻 Getting Around: Access to the property is suitable for most cars and campervans. However, internal access beyond the main entry is limited to walking or 4WD only, as the terrain follows old cow trails and bush tracks. Adventurous spirits will love exploring the many local 4WD trails and fire trails winding through the surrounding forests. 🔥 Fires & Camp; Facilities: Campfires are permitted (check local conditions and restrictions). The site has its own cleared space and signage. We ask that guests respect the land, local wildlife, and leave no trace. 💤 What You’ll Love: Total digital detox. Crystalline night skies and star-gazing Birdsong, bush silence, and no mobile reception to interrupt it A base to explore the spectacular hinterland of the Mid North Coast Whether you’re escaping the city, chasing trails, or just craving some time under the trees, our wild block offers rustic, raw beauty – with you bringing in as much comfort as you need to keep you grounded.Tucked between Bulga State Forest and Tapin Tops National Park, Gillogly Ridge Bush Camp offers a private, off-grid sanctuary for campers seeking deep nature, rugged trails, and total escape from the modern world. This freshly cleared 200 sq ft grass campsite sits on an elevated ridge with filtered mountain views, offering a stunning mix of sun and shade beneath the tall gums – ideal for setting up solar panels or simply relaxing in nature’s rhythm. Access is via a newly bulldozed road that allows for easy 4WD or van turnaround on-site. While the site is accessible by 2WD in dry conditions, 4WD is strongly recommended due to the unsealed approach and surrounding trails. There are no amenities, no water or power – just you, the land, and the absolute peace of the forest. Guests must be fully self-contained and commit to a strict leave-no-trace policy. Fires are permitted when conditions allow (check current local restrictions). You’ll have the site completely to yourself with no visible neighbours – only the odd wallaby, birdlife, and maybe the distant hum of the wind in the trees. There are multiple seasonal creeks, hidden gullies, and surrounding 4WD and walking trails, including access to the Bulga Forest trail nearby: 👉 View Trail on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/australia/new-south-wales/bulga-forest This is a true off-grid wilderness experience – perfect for bushwalking, trail exploring, star-gazing, or simply unplugging in the stillness. 🛻 Property Access Notes: Campsite size: ~200 sq ft grassy clearing Access: Freshly cleared entry road with turnaround space Vehicle type: 4WD recommended, suitable for vans in dry conditions Terrain: Mixture of flat and sloping bushland, native forest Safety: Remote location, no mobile reception at site (signal may be possible at the start of road driveway runs off) 🏕️ What To Bring: Fully self-contained setup Water, toilet/shower solution, rubbish bags Firewood (if safe to burn) and means to extinguish campfire 🌿 Why Camp Here?
