The showground is located in the heart of Oberon, a small rural community located just 2.5 hours from Sydney. Situated on a plateau at a height of 1130m above sea level, Oberon is on the western fall of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the nearby spectacular scenery, Jenolan Caves, alpine lake, Mayfield and other fabulous cool climate gardens. The showground is a short walk to shops and restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Visitors information Centre is conveniently just across the road. Pets welcome on leash and under control.Oberon Showground offers primitive camping on gently sloping sites. Oberon Showground Campsite
Winter caravan stay
Great quiet spot. Local markets were on the Saturday we stayed and was a quick walk up the hill. Stayed with friends and our dog. Facilities modern, clean and tidy. Was a most enjoyable stay! Definitely recommend, make sure you rug up in the winter 😊

Oberon Showground Campsite
in the middle of Oberon
Located strategically in the middle of Oberon town. Literally just a short stroll to the shops and a pub if that's what you after. Otherwise beautiful park and information centre is just across the street from the grounds. Amenities clean and looked after. Short drive to various lookouts, lake and rivers in the area.

Disappointing - Noisy Group.
It would have been better if there were courteous people, there was a large group that had to be asked to keep the noise down twice and when they got tied around 11:30 pm and went to bed I could finally get some sleep. There should be rules around large gatherings and noise. Will most probably will not stay there again.

Camping on my own.
Nice and clean. Showers hot. Easy access. Very reasonable price. It's waking distance to town with plenty of shopping and nice cafes.
